nicer hotel/motels close by.

People are nice... The curtin hanger was pulled out of the wall, the bath tube would not drain, the grounds had trash eveywhere.

Air conditioning unit didnt work very well.. It was pretty warm in the room.. Shower didnt work very well next morning.. ( Only there 1 night to base my opinion off of)

The hotel is easy to find and close enough to the beach. The breakfast and the service was adequate. You get what you pay for. It was definitely worth the price. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean.

The quality inn in mayport exceeded our expectations. The room and the rest of the motel were very well kept. The continental breakfast was great and had a nice variety of food to choose from.

I reserved this room because the rooms at the hotel where the convention was held cost twice the cost of the Quality Inn room. . The Quality Inn exceeded all my expectations. A huge, comfortable, king-size bed with the sheet, blanket and spread turned down, perfect temperature from the air conditioning. The shower was hot and included personal sizes of soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Just outside the bathroom was an electric hair dryer hanging on the wall, with a coffee maker on the counter below and coffee packets and tea bags at the other end of the counter. In the closet, I found an iron and ironing board. There was a large cable TV facing the bed and both a microwave and a refrigerator at hand. I had a great night's sleep, one of the best I've had in a long time. In the morning, the staff was as friendly and helpful as the evening staff had been when I checked in. The Inn was several miles from the location of the convention I was attending, but it was on a bus line and I arrived at the convention in time for a quick breakfast before the classes started. All in all, very impressive and at a quite reasonable price.

Nice hotel, Easy to Jax beaches and TPC Sawgrass

If you don't mind a cheap hotel then this is the place for you. You get what you pay for. Our sheets were dirty but they management helped solve the issue.

Clean rooms, friendly service, great variety at breakfast. Will definately stay again.

If you have a car you are only minutes to to beach and eating areas. We found the beach nice and people friendly. If you are Irish, you will have no problem finding a pub to eat and drink in, must be at least 35 in 5 mile radius.

This hotel was nice for being older. The rooms were pretty clean. We had no problems or complaints. The staff was very nice to us. It's a Sailor town so most guest were from the local base. They got pretty loud but nothing against the hotel. Worth the money.

I was pleasantly surprised. This is an older hotel which seems to of been recently renovated. The amenities were great, a clean room, amble towels, and all the little extras, and a nice continental breakfast. The staff was pleasant and professional and made you feel welcomed the minute you checked in. I will stay at this hotel again the next time I am in Jacksonville/Mayport area.
