The hotel was falling apart. The heating/cooling system in our room was not working properly because the knobs came off every time I tried to adjust the settings. When I called the front desk to have someone fix the knobs, the maintenance guy told me the knobs stay on if you turn them very carefully. This did not fix the problem at all. The hotel was overpriced for the incredibly unsafe area in which it is located. The front desk clerk was playing guitar for other guests at one point when I went to the front desk to ask a question and he finished his song before he addressed me. The paint and wallpaper border was peeling off the walls.

The hotel room was very nice and the staff was mediocre. The positive reviews stop there. The neighborhood that the hotel was in was awful. There were prostitutes and drug dealers about a block away, and I got approached in the parking lot by a guy that wanted money to get home from the hotel bar. I almost decided to set an hourly alarm to wake up and check to see if my car had been broken into. Also, the actual hotel (hallways, elevators, etc) was run-down. I'm not wasting any more time writing. My advice is to find a different hotel.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The place is centrally located to anywhere you may need to go...I was in the hospital and didnt feel like traveling home without resting first. The staff made that possible for me on a very short notice..

The hotel looked run down. Maintenance was not a priority. The pool was closed. The room had plugins hanging from the wall. The hair dryer plugin was broken. Some lights did not work in the bathroom. Had a jacuzzi tub but the jets were filled with some type of sealant and it obviously did not work. The bedspread smelled of body odor. There were burns in the carpet (it was a smoking room). There was an iron burn in the carpet. There was paint chipping everywhere. The TV was about the smallest TV I have seen in a while. The pictures online were apparently taken when the place first opened. On a positive note...the breakfast was good and the lady who maintained it was extremely nice. Overall I wish I had spent the extra money and stayed closer to Broadway.

Hotel is close to downtown area. It cost about $6 for a taxi ride to the arena. The rooms have been redone and are very nice. This will be where I stay from now on in Nashville

When we checked in the hotel appeared to be satisfying comfortable. Then later in the night when we got to our room we couldn't get the heat to work. Doubled up clothes and body heat we stayed warm. Did call the front desk to report it and got no response. Got up the next morning and opened the curtains and realized that we were on a roof level room and there was a dead bird right outside our window. The bath tub was molded but yet covered with a rubber water proof strip. Even though check out time was at 11 we were like 5 mins past time walking out. Although we done checked out of our room like 10 mins before check out time. And the lady behind the counter that acted to be in management was very rude about our check out and never thanked us or asked us to come back. It would have to be a desperate situation for me to stay there again.

We were very happy with our stay. The staff that we encountered was super helpful and friendly, and the room looked newly remodeled -- Very clean and comfortable! We had stayed there once before and enjoyed it enough to go back, so we are certain to stay there on our next trip to Nashville.

I did not enjoy my stay here! The whole place smelled bad. The rooms were not very clean, especially the shower. The tub filled up with water as you showered and took a half hour to drain. When we first checked in, there were no lights and after calling the front desk, a man in street clothes (did he work there??) came in to plug in all our lights. The continental breakfast had biscuits that were as hard as rocks. Overall, not a great experience!

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in! You couldn't pay me to go back there!!

Terrible. Would never stay there again. changed into 3 different rooms within 42 hours of being there. No hot water. the third room we were in smelt like POT. and it was a nonsmoking room. felt like i was staying in a dirty fraternity house. very upsetting experience. and they said it was "downtown".. but you're crazy if you walk that far. down a main highway. i will never even consider staying there again.

My friend made arrangements without reading reviews. The paint was peeling, the security lock was broken, the bathroom door did not shut, our room did not get cleanede because the attendant did not speak english and did not understand please come back in a little bit. The draperies did not close all the way. You ask why we didn't move hotels, well there were no more in the city. NEVER STAY HERE.

It was a horrible stay.I was very disappointd because normally Days Inn is a great Hotel. What a shame this location brought down the reputation of this chain. As a commercial real estate agent I am very familiar with the market of Hotel Sales and would close this one down. Sale it and remodel it. Or find another buyer for the highest and best use for it.

The bed was not comfortable, and the bar downstairs was pretty loud but we got what we paid for - we wanted an affordable, centrally located but not-sketchy hotel room for our one night in town. We took refreshing showers, caught a cab right out front of the lobby and did our thing around Nashville knowing we weren't breaking the bank at the hotel. I'd stay again and would recommend it to others!

With a 4 night stay there was maid service 1 day, internet 1 of the 4, no towels unless I called for them, No toilet paper, used Kleenex, No air in the lobby or breakfast area and an awful smell everywhere. At the time of reservation I was told the hotel was within walking distance to the downtown stadium. 1.3 miles is OK , but we were instructed by the front desk not to walk we would get mugged, take a taxi. Therefore we incurred more expense than we had expected. On our stay we also witnessed another guest complaining about a used condom in his room.

I thought it was pretty nice for the price. It was the cheapest hotel that wasn't too far from downtown. I loved the tub, but wished the jets would've worked. Staff seemed to be nice and helpful. Cab ride were only $6 into town.

The parking lot was never over crowded, the staff was ALWAYS friendly and very helpful, the room was comfortable and well furnished (everything I needed in working order), and there was plenty of space for me and my two girl friends. Check in and check out were both speedy and free of problems. My only complaint would be that the internet was down for the full three days we stayed, however there were plenty of other attractions in Nashville to keep us busy and entertained. I made good use of the lovely pool as well as the delicious continental breakfast, and would gladly stay here again if the chance ever arises! Recommended, and great value hotel!

After reading the comments, I got what I expected. For the length of time I had to rent a room, the price, and the location, I feel I got what I paid for. It wasn't the nicest, but the front desk was very helpful, quite room, majority clean room(carpet wasn't very clean), the AC worked VERY well, bed was ok, and the view wasn't that bad. It was of the interstate. Stayed only one night and wouldn't mind staying here again if I had short notice like before. We took a cab back downtown to eat and for other activities since the location wasn't a place 2 women might want to walk through at night. But the cab fees were inexpensive round trip since it wasn't far from the nightlife.

That was the flithiest hotel I have ever stayed in. You couldn't get towels. They would take your dirty towels and not leave you clean ones. When you would go to the front desk they would agrue with you about get clean towels. The night clerk was extremely rude. When you first walked into the hotel it smelled like moth balls. There were only two elevators and the hotel was fully booked. The stairs were locked so you could only use them to go down. So, often we would have to wait 10 minutes to get an elevator after an event.

Room was rundown, view was terrible, dead birds and trash all over the roof (which was my only view!) hardly any furniture, no towels, had to call the front desk 3 times, finally went and found some my self, would not ever recommend to anyone.

I was very dissatisfied with my stay. The room was old and definitely not worth the price paid. The maid only made one bed and not the other the first and did not bring towels. The second night, we received no service at all. I am very disappointed and I will not stay at another Days Inn. I would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel is a very short cab ride to downtown and you can walk to LP Field. Our room was well cleaned and had comfortable beds. They had a helpful staff as well. Definitely will return next trip to Nashville.

Everything was good except we had a Steam Bath whirlpool that did not work. When you see it and think OH that's gonna feel good then it doesn't work...Disappointment.

It isn't spectacular, but a great place to stay for one night. If you don't plan on spending much time at the hotel this is the place for you.

Overall not a bad place. Provides the basics.

The air conditioner would cut off after running for about 30 minutes, so we woke up burning up. Upkeep seems a pretty outdated. Great Location. Only about a $10 cab fare for 3 people to get downtown.

As I came to learn during my stay, this motel was formerly called the "King of the Road" and was owned by the person who wrote and recorded this song. It was very nice for the cost..It was not in the best neighborhood, and a little partying went on at night in the bar, but unless there is a party planned for the top floor and you are staying on the floor below, you should be good to go. The staff was very helpful. The rooms are typical for a motel of this caliber, and the breakfast was an added goodie. Go for the waffles..It is close to the Stadium and Downtown, but parking in Downtown is expensive! I'll stay here again.....

Our room was not acceptable, there was somebody else's urine still on the floor at the toilet, there was water damage on the ceiling from either a plumbing leak above or a roof leak, the carpet was very stained, and the A/C did not cool very well. The worst part was a yapping dog next door. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, they said "We'll take care of it" I said what does that mean? They couldn't answer it with any confidence. Later the dog was still yapping, so I asked them what they were going to do about it. Again they said they would take care of it, they never did. The least they could do is assign a certain section of the hotel to people with pets. Obviously they never thought of that idea. I would certainly not stay again or recommend to anyone else. Convenient location, but that was about all that was good.

we were in town for a concert and this was close. we could've walked but got a cab for a small fee for a round trip. pretty view of the city. they have a safe in the room which we liked

The only reason anyone should stay at this hotel is in order to walk to the stadium. All other uses are a waste of money. There was a random towel on a chair when I walked in -- clean? dirty? who knows. The plumbing was so loud from the room next door that it woke me up. The alarm clock is across the room because there's no electric outlets by the bed. The chairs were ratty, the towels scratchy, ice machine broken. Train loud outside. I could go on. This hotel should be torn down and rebuilt.

Only stayed one night for Titans game. Parking was free at hotel and walk to stadium was less than 15 minutes. No worries about walking streets alone at night on way back to hotel because tons of other fans are walking back with you. Hotel is a bit older and it showed, but staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. This is a great place to stay for games if you're looking for convenience and comfort (bed had tons of pillows). If you're looking for luxury stay somewhere else. Go Titans!!

Our room had a great view of the skyline, but the gap between the door and the frame also probably gave about as much of a view through it as the windows did to the outside. My fiance and I are pretty sure that not only was there a guy urinating on the sidewalk in front of the hotel when we got there, but later that night I am almost positive I saw a quick trade out across the street...Im guessing nothing legal. Didnt realize that the hotel was in that kind of neighborhood. But in spite of all that, the price was attractive and the stay wasnt all that bad. Friendly desk clerks and overall clean hotel.

Older hotel a little hard to find but clean

The hotel staff was not friendly at all, in some way they were kind of pushy!! The continental breakfast was good but the person who was the attendant was not desireable whatsoever! The hotel is somewhat ran down but fairly close to LP Stadium! ~GO TITANS~

From the rating on this site, I expected a bit better room than we got, especially for the amount paid. I've stayed at other places and paid less but had better kept rooms. We found clumps of hair in the bathroom and even in the towels and washcloths. It was however, close to where we wanted to be and it wasn't much for a taxi ride to downtown Nashville. To actually stay downtown would have cost a lot more.

It was only a 15 minute walk to LP Field. Saved the hassle of finding and paying for parking. Not really in walking distance to the bar district downtown but if you're in town just to see a Titans game this is a good place to stay.

Needs a remodel. The bathtubs are starting to rot and the workout room equipment does not work.

we stayed at hotel friday nite and were happy with it. front desk was very helpful with our ? about downtown and the hotel is only two minutes from downtown area, so a cab was very reasonable also. we will stay again.
