Doubletree by Hilton Houston Hobby Airport - هيوستن

In fairness the hotel does seem to be going through some upgrades right now, and it needs it. Great location with respect to the airport and access to the freeway system for visitors not familiar with Houston

My wife,7 year old daughter and I made last second trip from Fort Worth to Houston to see my sick father. He stays near Hobby Airport so once I did my research for hotel near to airport, Double Tree came up (literally right across the street). Right now ongoing renovations but everyone made up for it with their above and beyond customer service (even gave my wife a cookie fanatic 4 extra cookies!!!). We will definitely stay again.

The hotel is under construction so taking that into account...it was noisy, my room was freshly refurbished but dirty and nothing worked including the A/C.

I had a terrible experience. When I checked in gave the front dest clerk my Credit card for incidentals. The next morning I ordered breakfast from the restaurant to go. As I was leaving to go back to my room the server informed me that they couldn't find a CC on file and that I had to leave my food. I asked if someone would walk up stairs to get payment or offered to bring it back down after I eat, as my food was getting cold. Both of my request were denied and I was forced to leave my food sitting on the bar. The customer service was terrible

Hotel under renovation. Ideal place to stay if catching an early morning flight out of Hobby

Hotel was under construction but was very nice. Very close to the airport. I would stay there again.

Friendly front desk staff, clean smoking room, comfortable beds.

We did not get much sleep because of the drunks that kept coming to the 5th floor screaming and making loud noise. We called the front office to ask them to help in this matter. Not sure if they did or not. We will not be staying at your hotel in the future.

Staff very friendly , Clean room and Great Drinks and Flat screen with the game on and WIFI in Lobby. Great Location before leaving for a cruise out of Galveston.. Shuttle drops you off at the right location for your shuttle connection to meet your cruise .

This is an older Doubletree that is currently being renovated. However, the neighborhood around Hobby Airport is not nice. The lobby area looked nice, but when we got to our room it was updated (with some minor updates) and the heater did not work. Additionally, the walls were paper thin. We could hear the entire conversations of the neighbors on both side of us. Unforunately for us, it seemed as though both rooms were having parties and were loud all night. We were 4 rooms down from the elevators, but they were also incredibly loud all day and night. Unpleasant stay.

Room was remarkably quiet for being so close to the airport. Room needs a little updating but overall very nice.

I love doubletrees. This one is under renovation currently. Good hotel, it was NBA All Star Game weekend, so the whole area was pretty crazy. Great price for the weekend.

I stayed here for a conference I needed to attend. The conference was located on site so it was easier to stay there. Room was a little pricey to NOT include free wifi. Ordered room service for every meal because area hotel is located in is a wee bit scary....that part of Houston is known for crime. However, the room service was above par, food was actually quite tasty and appeared freshly made-a little pricey, spent an average of 18 dollars/meal by time gratuitiy and fees were all paid (total for once breakfast, one lunch, and one dinner was 63.00). Room was comfortable, clean.The bathrrom was VERY small-VERY VERY small. And it was loud being right next to the airport with all the air traffic, but they were happy to accomodate me with a box fan for noise reduction. Overall, I would stay here again...if the price was right. Otherwise, there are lots of other close hotels that include wifi and free hot breakfast.

What a god-awful place. Pricey and for what? The bed was comfortable but the TV signal (dish TV) cut out every half hour or so, it was impossible to control the temperature, and I've seen better bathrooms in ferries... Yes, it is next to Hobby alright but you have to go at least 20 minutes by car to find a decent place to eat. Try the Courtyard instead- it's cheaper and better...

Very good - will plan from now on to try to stay at any Hilton hotel for future travel. Bed especially comfortable - pleasantly surprised at the excellency of this hotel vs the low price we paid for the room

The beds were the best. And the rooms were very clean

Did not get to try the restaurant because they are going extensive renovations; otherwise, very pleased. Wife and kids want to come back and stay here.

Perfect location. Within minutes of airport. The front desk gentleman was awesome wtih accomadating our parking needs. He was also pleasant and knowlegable about the airport and surrounding areas. I will stay there again.

If you need to be close to Hobby to catch a flight this is a great hotel. Has full bar with food service, and the food is good. They have a free shuttle service to the airport. when I arrived at Hobby I only waited a couple of minutes for the shuttle (I think it runs every 15 minutes) and when I departed at 4:30am the next morning the shuttle was running. Upon arrival there was only one reservations clerk and six or eight people were checking in. I was third in line so it wasn't too bad for me, but it took quite awhile for some. I waited about 10 minutes to get checked in. The other thing is that they are renovating the hotel. So beware that there may be construction noise during the day.

Nice staff but much construction going on. Nice lobby but rooms are just ok. Room was very large.

Why should I be charged for WiFi when I am paying so much a night for a room?

I thought that the hotel might be a little nicer based on what they show online. However, the lobby is really the only thing that's nice.... The rooms seemed pretty standard and for a standard, 2 star, not bad. I suppose that I just expected more out of the Hilton because of it's name. The fact that they charge for wifi was also a bit bothersome!

We only stayed the night before flying out to go home. We arrived very late and left early. Check in was super quick, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was good. It is very close and convenient to the Hobby airport. My only complaint and main dissatisfaction is that there is no continental breakfast. It is SO very convenient and helpful to have breakfast at the hotel. But here, the cheapest you can get for ONE person was $13. Needless to say, we ate at the airport, where even those high prices were less than 1/2 of what we would have paid at the hotel restaurant.

The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable. We checked in and out with no problems. I have stayed here before and I will be staying here again.

Shuttle does not pick up from airport late at night, must call a cab which the hotel reimburses

The people at the front desk needs more customer service training. She didn't seem as if she wanted to be there. But the room was nice and clean.

I arrived late but I enjoyed the room. I wish I had arrived earlier but the room seemed clean and comfortable.

It was amazing! The bed felt so good, I jumped in & went straight to sleep

The beds were hard as rocks. Staff was very helpful.

you have to pay for everything, including wi-fi. The room was nice, but I have stayed in much better places for cheaper. There are only two places to eat nearby. The only selling point is that the beds were comfortable. Overall though, not worth the price I paid for a comfortable bed.
