Stayed for one night. Good price and decent location for what was needed. Room could use some updating as it was looking a bit worn.

Was surprised that a continually - and fully - running hot water - tap could not be fixed ubtik the next day. We had to change rooms because of steaming up - while concern for the environment was expressed everywhere. You should note that the bathroom door Room 224 - has clearly not been finished - a second coat of paint to it and the jamb clearly needed. This in contrast to the excellence of the finish elsewhere. Would also have appreciated being told that breakfast was provided before we arrived

This hotel was located a bit further from the downtown core than I would have liked but not being familiar to the area I didn't really have a starting point. There was however, a gorge nearby with what looked like a nice walking/running path. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities I could have needed: a desk, wifi (which was too slow to use since I'm inpatient), balcony with chairs, couch, tv, fridge, coffee maker, iron and toiletries. The front desk associate on check in (Cera) called my room to ensure everything was fine. Upon check out, I smelled breakfast and learned that they were offering a complimentary continental breakfast which I didn't know about- the hotel listing said no breakfast. Lastly, I didn't manage to find the from entrance to the hotel, I entered from the back parking lot. It seemed like a strange layout from the street and I wasn't sure how to approach it.

I got a good price for a good hotel!

Great value. All the necessities: clean towels, clean room, remote control!

For the price this hotel was just fine. The one shortcoming is there was no restaurant open on Sunday morning and the complimentary breakfast was not particularly good. Room and service were just fine.

We had a great stay. The guest check in was fantastic. She really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. 2 thumbs way up for her. The only downside was i did not make a reservation for hecklers comedy club. They had sold out. This was the main reason we choose to saty at the hotel. Great little hotel. I would stay here again.

Nice inexpensive motel. Have stayed there before but this time the room had a throbbing machine which ran all night just on the other side of the wall. Phoned the desk and complained but nothing happened. Had to leave the air conditioner on to mask the throbbing noise all night. Even though I notified that we had a dog on the reservation, the desk did not know and that kind of threw the receptionist for a moment as I was on crutches and the pet rooms were up a flight of stairs. We will come again but will ask not to be booked into room 127.

clean, comfortable and convenient. Just what I need

Got several rooms for family members for Christmas. They were quite happy with the rooms, and since I paid for it, I thought it was a great value.

I am always pleased to stay at the Ramada. I don't know how to go about saying this other than just saying it. I found a pubic hair on one of the beds and avoided that bed for the length of my stay? I did not mention it as I didn't know how to bring it up. Other than that it was a good stay and the front desk staff are always very helpful and accomodating. If I had to stress one thing, is that the maids could maybe check the rooms a little more thourly

The hotel had a major fire a couple days before I checked in, and the smell was drifting in the halls and some in my room which caused me suffering headaches occassionally.

Although the hotel had suffered a small fire there was no smell or inconvenience The staff and especially the manager Sarah were cheerful and efficient

Hotel staff was helpful but not that knowledgeable (one example: poor at giving driving directions). Room was clean, though near lobby so a bit noisy. Bed was very comfortable. Their breakast location was closed due to a fire (night staff did not mention this when they said it was available), and had no alternate arrangements - though staff provided good recommenation on restaurants downtown. Given the price, it was still a good choice.

room was very cold even when i put the heater on for 3 hrs and came back, all night was freezing

Would stay here again, just because it's cheap but don't expect it to be super perfect and clean.

The front desk called a few hours after I checked in to make sure everything was alright. It was, but I thought that was really nice. There was a small spot of old blood on the shower curtain, but everything else was clean. I work at a gold crown resort in Nanoose, so I checked the whole room over when I checked in. The bed was super comfy and the room was nice and warm. I enjoyed my short stay,

For the price per night, this hotel was kind of what to be expected. We thought the room itself was a bit small, not very much room to move around the 2 queen beds, and we were stationed at ground floor right by the parking lot. To the other end of the hallway was a noisy parkinglot where there is a liquor store. I was not overly excited about our stay, but it served the purpose of a bed to sleep in. I must say that the restaurant was really excellent though. Food was really good ( we had breakfast), service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Definitely worth checking out. Also staff were all pleasant. I just think the hotel needs some upgrades.

very courteous staff; very satisfied with the room & the rate. Did feel the restaurant was a bit pricey for our budget. Would definitely reccommend this hotel & would book it again.

Disappointed from the outset due to a problem with our booking. We were supposed to get a king bed, but there weren't any available. Hotels.com gave us compensation for the error though, but it's not the same as having what you ask for. The subsequent room was fine but cramped with two double beds. Fine for a couple of nights but you needed a car to get anywhere useful. The outdoor pool looked nice but we didn't get around to using it.

I would not reccomend this hotel to people. Everyone I spoke to at the front desk was very nice but and the room was not terrible but that's about it. Finding a hair or two in a hotel bed is not too uncommon, but we found lots. There were also little dots of unidentifiable dirt in our bed. The pillows were VERY thin and EXTREMELY lumpy. They missed cleaning our room (it may have been that we were still in it when they came by, we left at ten the first day and slightly before nine the second) but I will say the lady at the front desk brought up towels and such when we asked for them. The pool was highly unimpressive, we didn't bother with it after taking a look. I never actually saw anyone in the pool area with the exception two older ladies sitting poolside chatting. We came back to the room around 7 most nights and the bus was filled with people that were visibly drunk, high or both and they got off all around the area. One night we came back at six and it wasn't so bad. Although the front desk service was good and the room itself wasn't visibly dirty, the uncleanliness of the bed, and lumpy pillows were a turn-off. The fact that it is in a fairly scummy part of town is the worst part. I certainly would not stay there again.

Great location/very friendly staff/good dog walking areas close by/comfortable beds. A little noisy near the pub with smokers milling outside by my patio and my bathroom wasn't super clean, but a very nice place to stay, would definitely use again just ask for a room away from the pub.

Hotel was well maintained, clean and comfortable. Located in quiet neighborhood, nothing in walking distance but short drive to most attractions.

Good service and rooms, but too far from downtown unless you have your own transportation.

Over all are great, only thing was the misunderstanding that the breakfast was not included as we thought when we book this hotel.

Old hotel in need of upgrades. The A/C was not working, there was no outlet near the desk to recharge laptop. The restaurant was fine. Only go to the pub if you like poor service and dark dungeons.

I stayed at the Ramada last week. I got a deal on the hotel, so I wasn't sure what I should expect. But it was clean, comfortable, the showers were hot. Even though we were on the ground floor and our view was of the parking lot, I didn't have any problems. If you need a decent hotel to stay at, this is perfect.
