An excellent Hotel beautifully situated in a residential area. The rear of the hotel looks onto a marina and the canal. Hotel service second to none and the Staff most helpful. I will stay at this hotel again if and when I visit Amsterdam again.

We visited Amsterdam for the first time a few weeks ago and this hotel is absolutely outstanding. We were very pleased with the quality of the hotel appearance and the staff. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, courteous, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The service was impeccable. We loved the grounds. They were very well manicured with art statues and extremely clean. The hotel is situated on a canal with a beautiful terraced patio that is relaxing and has great ambiance adding to the total Dutch experience. The food was wonderful. The variety of options is a feast and it is nice to try foods from the local area. The vegetables and fruits are fresh. The cheeses are remarkable. The meats are very tender and delicious. The food service staff provide exceptional service. The head chef is friendly and cooks to order. The concierge services are always available, were extremely helpful and friendly. We loved the location in a quiet upscale neighborhood within walking distance to the tram. The English friendly atmosphere was a real plus. We highly recommend this hotel. The service was impeccable, the grounds breathtaking, staff friendly, food wonderful, concierge services helpful, , check-in easyand location in a wonderful quiet upscale neighborhood within a two block walk to the tram station great.

The neighborhood looks out of the way on a map, but it really isn't a bad walk to most things in town. The Rijksmuseum is an easy walk. And it is on a quiet street. There is a beautifiul collection of shops just around the corner. The only bad thing is the hotel has an absolutely ridiculous price for internet access. I am especially surprised since internet is no cheaper if you go to the business center. It is appalling.

Not quite close to the city centre, but since Amsterdam's not too big a city, it is still walkable, and easy via trams. And one benefit is a quite neighborhood. The hotel is in great shape, and the staff is very friendly and efficient. The included breakfast was fine, although I have had more opulent breakfast buffets in other top of the line hotels. The biggest issue is their internet charges are obscene. Frankly, I don't know why they aren't free, at least in the business center. They bilk you on them.

Disappointed with our stay, I expected better from a Hilton. No doubt the reception area is 5 star, but the room and food was far from it. Our twin room may as well of been a doble as the beds were touching, the Air Con didnt work and the room was pretty small. Stayed at the Hoilday Inn for much less last time and the rooms and food there were far superior. I dont mind paying extra for 5 star but this certainly wasn't and I feel it was the name attracting people rather than the actual product. Don't waste your money

Loved this hotel! The only thing is it is a bit out of th centre of town but there are good pubs and bars close by.

The hotel is located overlooking a canal in an elegant part of the city that is a close walk to the museums but a little away from the tourist center. There are nice coffee shops to eat and good restaurants. There was an interesting remporary exhibition of outdoor sculpture by famous artists right outside the hotel in the park.

Very nice hotel very convenent for the trams to get about. Staff very helpfull, Breakfast very good lots of choose.

The lovely staff surely made us feel like we were in a six star hotel, the backyard is amazing and the surrounding neighbourhood is very pleasant to walk through. The only thing that really annoyed us was the lack of free WiFi (it cost surreal 27 euros per day) when even a budget hostel offers it at no extra cost.

Me and my boyfriend have stayed here many times before and loved it until this stay. The heating in the room was broken, the staff that answered the service hotline were rude and they wanted to charge me 18 euros to use the gym on top of the 27 euros I paid for 24 hours of Internet service that didn't work properly. They also used to have a great designer store in the lobby that had great unique clothing items which is now being kicked out. Overall I won't be staying here again except for two nights I already prepaid which I wish I hadn't.

I would recommend the hotel, location is reasonable, but more importantly the bed was comfortable, the shower was decent. One proviso (mentioned elsewhere in another comment), the price of the internet is slightly outrageous. I find it slightly bizarre to pay for wifi at all, but I accept that is the norm in Europe. However, 27 euro is excessive.

This hotel really made our stay, everything was perfect. Congratulations to all of the staff, they were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them

The hotel was a little ways from the city center and about a 5-7 minute walk to the tram. Additionally, do NOT pay for the executive lounge. The exec lounge closed really early and it was not worth even going up there. The breakfast at the hotel was good. I would recommend this hotel if you want to be away from the crowds of the city but if you want a place that is conveniently located to central station or the various nightlife/restaurants then I would recommend staying somewhere else such as the Crown Plaza

We booked this hotel because there was a good deal and were not disappointed. We made our own way from the airport and, although it was a train and then tram ride away, we had no difficulty finding it. Although in a quiet suburban area, it was only a short walk to a choice of two tram stops with frequent trams to the city centre. We bought a three day travel ticket which allowed us unlimited travel on any tram, bus or metro ride within the city boundary. We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean and the staff were always polite and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable, though a few feminine touches would have been nice. At the back of the hotel was a very pleasant garden on the banks of a canal with a small marina and a terraced seating area leading from the bar. Our only complaint about the hotel was the price of food and drink, both being exhorbitantly expensive! however, we could not fault the delicious breakfast we had each morning as part of our bed and breakfast deal. Overall, I would say this hotel is very definately 5* and is an ideal choice for anyone wanting a little bit of luxury and doesn't want to be staying in the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Very pleasant stay. Conveninet location. However, the use of gym facilities requires additional charges which is not the norm in most hotels.

We had a really good room overlooking the beautiful canal and harbour at the back of the hotel. The friendliness and attention of the staff was superb. My wife and I slept well every night - normally we take a night or two to get used to the bed. Location is ok - you need a tram to get into the centre of town but there are some nice restaurants locally. It would have been nice to have two armchairs in the room, one between two people doesnt make sense. I would thoroughly recommend the Hilton if you like excellent service and want a quiet and comfortable base in Amsterdam.

Attentive , courteous staff and lots of them. All queries dealt with very efficiently and professionally. Nice spacious lobby and relaxing views.

Great hotel and the staff are very accomadating. Roberto's resturant had exceptional food - high end. The room was very comfortable with a great view of the canal in the back. This hotel is located on the outskirts of Amsterdam but a short walk through a really upscale neighborhood takes you to the trolly system which is inexpensive and easy to use. The only problem was a loose bathroom sing faucet fixture and I think it's really bad for them to charge more than double what I expect to pay for internet access - way overboard considering this is already an expensive hotel.

Hotel is in a very nice suburb of the city, and is a short tram ride to the city centre. Staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. We got a weekend B&B rate which was very good value,buffett breakfast was excellent, snack food on the terrace was good but very expensive. I would definitly stay here again.

The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day; excellent and varied choices. There is no gym or pool; it cost $25/day for the adjacent gym. The bike rental was wonderful, but book early.

Apparently this is a business hotel but our stay in early August meant there was very little business activity, so the atmosphere was very calm and relaxed. Just outside the museum quarter, the area is very good and as quiet country folk the fact that our room faced over the canal and Hilton Marina meant there was no traffic or trams passing by to disturb our tranquil sleep. Do make the most of the Concierge service, they have great knowledge and also discount vouchers for some of the attractions. They also have a fixed rate for taxi's and I am sure would arrange for a taxi to collect at the airport. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to business people and to families visiting during the peak tourist seasons. We felt extremely safe in this area and as I was a single woman travelling with my tweenage daughter that was great piece of mind. 10 out of 10.

Excellent customer service. Its in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam. There is a trolley only a block away from the hotel that will take to you the Dam within 10-15 minutes. The #16 tram will take you past the main museums and the music hall. In addition, it is located on the canal with a nice area to sit outside and relax by the mini marina. There is a huge park that is within walking distance. I've been to Amsterdam every year for the past three years and had marveled at their customer service. Its well worth the money.

Completely awful experience. To get a rollaway bed for a child caused xtra cost of 120 Euros per night. Minimal laundry (couple pieces) cost 36 Euros. Small bottle of water cost 6 Euros. Hotel sucked. Outrageously priced for what you received. Not conveniently located. Not only wouldn't I stay at the Amsterdam Hilton, I wouldn't stay at any Hilton in the future.

Med rom i 7.etasje hadde vi panoramautsikt inn mot sentrum. Hotellet hadde en fin atmosfære og god service. Hotellet har et fint uteområde ved en kanal og ligger i et rolig fint strøk. 300-400 meter til trikk 16 og tilsvarende til trikk 5 som begge brukte kort tid inn til sentumskjernen. Hotellet har også sykler man kan låne. God frokost og god service.

Palvelu oli todella ystävällistä ja huomioonottavaa, Aamiainen laadukas ja riittävän monipuolinen. Ratikalla pääsee melko lähelle ja ympäristö on siisti ja rauhallinen. Ainoaksi miinukseksi laskisin sängyn, joka oli omaan makuuni nähden liian kova. Hinta-laatusuhde oli kohdallaan kun hotellien yleinen taso on Amsterdamissa melko korkea.

다소 한적한 위치에 초겨울인지라 방안외에는 호텔내 어디 갈데도 마땅찬코 좀 재미없음. 호텔뒤 정원(?)엔 난로도 안피워주고 얘기해도 듣는둥마는둥,,,,조용한거 뺴곤 별로임^^^^^

Hiltonin sijainti on hyvä ja alue rauhallinen.Läheltä kulkee 2 eri raitiotielinjaa ydinkeskustaan. Lentokentältä pääsee edullisimmin junaa ja raitiovaunua käyttäen hotellille. Hotelli on luokiteltu 5 tähden hotelliksi ja sellainen se kaikin puolin onkin. Aamiainen on erinomainen ja monipuolinen. Henkilökunta on ystävällinen ja palvelualtis.

Helt fantastisk!! Veldig god service, og den beste frokosten jeg har spist på et hotell!! Anbefaler dette til alle. Ligger litt utenfor selve sentrum, men enkelt å hoppe på trikken. Er også fint mulig å gå;-)

Hotellet ligger fint ved en kanal sør i Amsterdam. Nærmeste trikk er nr 16 som går fra en holdeplass rett over kanalbroen (selv om av en resepsjonen opplyser nr 5 som ligger mye lenger unna). Flotte rom, god rengjøring, rikelig med hånkler og såper. Dyr minibar og meget dyr avgift for å benytte trådløs Internett. Det siste burde være gratis når romprisen er så dyr. Hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte. Flott og stor hotell frokost.

Dejligt hotel - klassisk Hilton kvalitet, er som det forventes for et business hotel. Ingen overraskelser i hverken positiv eller negativ forstand.
