I thought it would be a cheap stay but the rooms were well organized and designed and the continental breakfast was good and was open til 10am!

For the price of the hotel its nice for a weekend getaway!! I never do reviews and was reading the other reviews prior to booking but thought i would review bc im a very cautious person/kinda picky person but after i arrived everything was fine. The checkin/out was quick, clerk was pleasant. Chilis, Pappasitos (in walking distance), Pappas are very close by. I didnt like the Dennys next door...and wouldnt eat there again, just didnt seem clean. As for surroundings, with any place you go thats unfamiliar, you should be careful and watchful. The hotel is literally located off of I10E so if you're coming from Louisiana its a straight shot!! I would stay there again! The only thing i didnt like was rooms are only accessible from exterior...but it was an oversight on my behalf but again i would stay there again. And although i did book 2 double beds with no fridge or microwave, i requested to have a fridge/microwave while checking in and was given a room with those appliances with no hesitation from clerk, still had double beds...no extra charge!!

The hotel is aging. Its not bad, but some of the caulking is gone, the walkways look a little worse for wear. Overall, it was a decently clean affair. My only real complaint had nothing to do with the hotelier, but there was a little black bug that found his way onto me before I fell asleep so I didn't sleep all that great. That and some of the other guests looked a little questionable.

Worst hotel i ever stayed in US

Overall I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, the comfortable bed and friendly staff. Quick and easy check in/out. Affordable price for the room. Will definitely be staying at the La Quinta Inn Houston East on my next visit to Houston.

horrible hotel, urine on toilet when we arrived, human hair all over the blanket and comforter. horrible room and sketchy location, gladly paid for another room. DONT STAY HERE

This place could have an upgrade.

Got in late and checked out early. No issues

The room was very clean. Surroundings are not so great. But inside the room it was great. I sincerely recommend to everyone.

We were there for 1 night. The first had roaches running all over the place. we requested a room change cause we needed a refrigerator and micro wave. The lady at the deck was kind enough to change our room. the staffwere friendly.

Aside from the neighborhood the hotel was great. I really could have skept all day in the room.

I always bring a pillow from home but I needn't have bothered. The beds were super comfy - pillows too. My only complaint is the there was one light switch for the bathroom; it controlled both the shower/toilet area and the vanity area. Early risers have to either shower in the dark or disturb others in the room with the light. Overall, a nice place.

This hotel was one of the cheapest in the area and it wasn't a bad experience but definitely worth what I paid for. The room was decent sized, comfortable and clean. Only issues I had were the shower changed temp drastically from hot to cold. Towels were paper thin and small. Bathroom was a little cramped. Neighborhood was a bit questionable (residential houses all had barred windows) but I did see renta cops walking through the parking lot so that made me feel a little better. Internet was questionable at times and 1 day it was out completely. However, the bed was comfortable and the room was kept cool on a week that was in the low 100s (though I did need to set the thermo to 60deg for it to kick on even though it was not 60deg in the room). The breakfast was fair though it was right next door to a Denny's and plentiful other very good places to eat. Lastly, the customer service was very nice, so I would not have a problem staying there again assuming I get the same rate.

Very clean and friendly, receptionist let me check in 1 hour early, would stay again. Kids loved the pool and the free breakfeast.

At this time in USA, I expect a hotel to provide free intenet access in the lobby for guests. The price has to come down by at least 20%.

room was clean,could use better matresses and pillows were flat and old....uncomfortable

The hotel and its staff were very welcoming. Even called us to make sure everything was fine in our room. BUT BE CAREFUL!!! THERE ARE 2 LAQUINTA HOTELS WITHIN 2 MILES OF EACH OTHER! If we hadn't used a GPS system, we may have had a difficult time with locating the correct one.
