It's nothing fancy, but good for the value

no complaints, very nice and clean, hotel amenities.

The continental breakfast is lacking. The fruit was not fresh. Needs improvement in this area.

Nice quality room for a Great Price! Very clean and comfortable. Air worked well. Very Pleased with added amenities such as the mini frig and microwave, along with hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was included. Great Deal! Very Happy Customer! :)

The a/c didn't work properly. It would get really hot before it would kick on. The breakfast cereal was stale.

This motel is surrounded by the oil industry. It is also fairly close to the San Jacinto battleground and the USS Texas museum. But what an oasis! We were very spoiled by our stay. The breakfast was okay but with lots of food places close by it wasn't a factor. The grounds were terrific, the pool was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was great! It was very quite and clean. This motel will be our first choice if we come back to that area.

Overall, it's great; however, I waited for five minutes at hotel lobby just to give my key to the lady in charge. I look forward to book on this hotel again.

This is an older hotel that has been fairly well maintained. The property was clean, but showed signs of wear. The staff was friendly and helpful. This location provides easy access to 146, and it's about 15 to 20 minutes to Kemah and Johnson Space Center. The street noise was bad until 2 am on Friday and Saturday, with a restaurant and biker bar down the street. If you can sleep through noise and need a place to stay, this hotel is adequate. If you have trouble sleeping, then you would be better off finding a room in a quiet neighborhood.

The light in the bathroom worked when it felt like it. The floor had hair all over it. Air conditioning did not work well. Pool was dirty.

Our stay was overall enjoyable. The breakfast was weak and there were no plates for the waffles. The clerk did not seem to care that plates were not available. She offered no appology or explanation, she was matter of fact and said there were no large plates. All other employees were very nice and professional.

Booked a Non-Smoking room and was placed in a smoking room. When I called the night manager gave me a “not my problem, hotel is full." I checked in at 10ish so we were not able to seek other arrangements; which we would have.. Instead the night was horrible, sleeping in an ashtray.

Overall great stay.

Hotel is very far from the airport

I booked three rooms for two days and one of the rooms was missing the small fridge. That was the room my daughter needed to keep her infant's milk cold. The room I was in we had less than half a roll of toilet paper the cleaning crew did not leave a new roll.

This had to be the worst La Quinta that have ever stayed in. My first room the toilet would not drain. The floor in bathroom and the carpet going into bathroom were wet. I was told they had no maintenace personnel to fix the toilet. They didn't know why the carpet was wet! The evening. Personnel were as helpful as they could be. The next room the bathroom door facing had what appeared to be termit damage to the door facing. I have photos.

Enjoyed our stay, attended the NHRA Sring Nationals at the Royal Purple Raceway in Baytwon. Very close to the race track. Will stay at this La Qunita again next year...

we checked in at 1:00 p.m. the cold water knob in the shower was broken,and at 10:00 the maintance man wasn't available, no other rooms available execpt smoking. they offered me to take a shower in the meeting room, which i did. mean while my guest managed to fix the knob so they could shower. the only thing different that we did the whole weekend . and here i'am with a rash on both legs below the knees and itches like the devil. i went out there for the drag race that weekend, and had to be tortured to death with a ...rash. been putting cortaid on it. bout ready to go to a doctor. so if there's any other questions feel free. this is my work site and just return back to work.

Nice motel, friendly staff, clean rooms, good food. I would stay there again.

I was happy with the hotel, all I needed it for was a place to sleep while I was working in town. I would stay here again, it wasn't a 5 star but it was nice for the price.

When Kemah for the weekend, but didn't want to spend to much money. This hotel was really convinience for us, because we ended going to the Space center which is very close to the hotel. Over all, good price for the stay.

My family and I stayed here overnight to catch a cruise the next day. It definitely met and even exceeded our expectations. It is no 5 star resort but, it serves it purpose. The plus side was the WONDERFUL and HELPFUL staff!! I would definitely stay here again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here over Christmas. We have stayed at La Quinta before in Baytown. Both stays were great. I really liked the refridgerator and microwave. I really have no complaints. Next year my family and I will probably stay here again.

we stayed one night with our two children and were very satisfied with the accommodations for the price. The breakfast was exceptional with several choices from hot, cold and prepared items. Our room did have a refrig/microwave which was very convenient. There is a slight musty odor, but nothing unbearable - remember your on the coast - great bargain.

I was pleased with the room we received for the night, not so pleased when I found out ammenities that Hotels.com said were there, were not.

Very satisfied with this hotel. Cheap hotel, nice amenties. Would defiantly stay here again!!

The first room they assigned to us was terribly moldy and so we requested another room. The second room was not as bad, but you could still smell mildew. The sheets were urine stained, the carpets filthy. The neighbor hood is sparse and industrial. It is like having a hotel surrounded by oil refinery's. Look elsewhere! I would never stay here again. We joked that the highlight of our trip was checking out of this hotel!

Inexpensive. Rooms were large and had microwave and a fridge. A/C worked well. Pool was large. Breakfast was fair. Customer service was excellent. 10 to 15 minutes away from kemah. Room did have musty smell, but not too bad. Tv's are awesome and free wi/fi. Well worth booking if you are working with a budget.

I was looking for a nice place to sleep in and I found it in la Quinta Inn. The price is fair and its located near of a modest beach, but also of the big ones if you don't mind driving some miles to get there. The room was comfortable and clean as I expected, staff was attentive to all my needs yet they need to be friendlier. It does have an outdoor pool with grills on a side if you feel like having a BBQ you may as I did.

First, the bed was so comfortable. I usually have trouble because I have a bad back, but this was the best night's sleep I've had in I don't know how long! The only BAD thing we encountered with our stay was that we wanted a non-smoking room. And our room smelled of cigrettes. I believe the reason for this is that all the ventilaion ducts are connected, and although it's a non-smoking room, it comes through the vents. It didn't smell as if someone was jjust smoking in the room, but of old cigarettes. If you aren't bothered by other's smoke, then it's okay. That is the only problem I had with the stay. We didn't go down for the contanental breakfast, so I canno comment on that. But the room was clean, and the beds have pillow tops, and was very comfortale. Iwould stay there again, as Kemah Boardwalk was just a few minutes down the road. There was also a lovely park down the cross street, about a mile, and it's on the water. Very nice and with a nice long fishing peir, that is affordable to use.

air conditioner in room 103 rattked and made noise all night.. if werent for that little inconvience or beeing kept up till midnight, it would have been execlent.. so if you are checked in, ask if the air cond. in room 103 have been fixed or get another room.

Finally a night alone away from the children. We always check our hotel beds for bugs. We didnt find bugs but we found dirty magazines under the mattress. This made for a very uncomfortable situation wondering what was done in that bed, on the comforter. It was very uneasy and not a moment we wanted. Also, there was a hair in the shower, weather it be a leg hair or something else, not sure, but wasnt what you wanted to see. Other than that, the room was not bad and breakfast was good for something just to grab and go.

hotel room looked nice, fairly large, lots of drawer space, comfortable stay...only problems were the ac leaked water all over the carpet area in front of it, and there was a lot of construction in the area at the time that made it difficult to drive around...close to everything though, easy access to restaurants, movies, nasa , kemah...overall great stay...courteous staff and waffles at breakfast were the best!!!

I just needed a quick spring break getaway. It was a nice king size bed, nice and clean room. very clean tub. We had to change rooms so we could have a microwave and fridge. 3miles from the beach/park. about 17 mins from Kemah boardwalk. I was able to eat enough during the continental breakfast so I could save my money for lunch and dinner.

This was our second stay in this hotel.The first one we were put in the back where it was quiet and we could park by the room.This stay we were right on the busy side with traffic all night long.
