Mercure Centre Hotel Abu Dhabi - مدينة أبو ظبي

Having travelled for 14 hours we were very appreciative of being able to get into our room as soon as we arrived. At 7.00 am.Prior reviews we read said th staff were friendly. We found this to be very true.Breakfast was not cheap but good.

the location is good but the rooms are very small. the staff very very helpful. the concierge and housekeeping go out of their way to help. very good indian restaurent just behind the hotel. good eating joints also nearby. shpping centres also nearby. the hotel has own shuttle service to maina mall, and abu dhabi mall for own guests.

I have stayed at this hotel before and think its a decently priced, central hotel for Abu Dhabi. My room initially had a bad odour to it - slightly musty, but it disappeared after I put the AC on for a short while. I would recommend this this for anyone on a short business or pleasure break.

Everythng was perfect: wellcome, services...

Central locaton but not really near anything. Hotel clean, staff friendly and helpful Great pool

Having never visited Abu Dhabi before I was unsure where to stay, we were going specifically for the Grand Prix weekend and the Mercure was recommended to us because of it's city centre location. I have to say, I cannot fault this hotel or the staff. During a nightmare journey with Qatar Airways, I had to contact the hotel to let them know we would be very late arriving as we were stuck for 6 hrs at Doha Airport. The person I spoke to was very helpful and informed me our room would be held for us. On arrival check in at the hotel was very quick and I was soon in bed to catch up on a lost nights sleep (Thanks again Qatar Airways!!!!) Our room was spotlessly clean as were all the public areas and swimming pool. There are several restaurants within the hotel, all reasonasbly priced. Yas Island Race Circuit is approx 30 minutes away by taxi which costs about £10 in a metered cab. (Avoid taxi drivers who are not on the meter, they will try to charge double!!!!) My final words are for the staff at the Mercure, they are excellent. From the reception staff to the cleaners, nothing is too much trouble and they will go out of their way to help. I would definately use the Mecure Abu Dhabi again, which is more than I can say about Qatar Airways.

Hotel is okay, not what I expected as the reviews were 4.7. The hotel is an okay place to stay especially for the price but honestly it is just not my style so I do not want to sound negative. The most insecure point were going through metal detctors during check in. I never done that in my life. However, I did feel secure. The accommodations were clean but our view was a little to be desired. It made me feel like I was in a discreet night life place. The kind I didn't belong. Again, this may be fine for most, just not my type of hotel.

Admittedly tried the Mercure because of excellent value. Would certainly stay here anytime in Abu Dhabi for the same Hotels.com price. Did not have a chance to try restaurants, exercise facilities, etc. but staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were a breeze.

Offen I travel in Abu Dhabi , sometime for one night sometime for months ,for that I m very familiar with the place and the Hotels , this hotel is in good position if you like the mall and if you like to have small walk , easy take taxy and nice gym . Room very confortable and personnell very nice and gentle , usually always bad experience in Mercure Hotel but this time I have to say all went well, I strongly reccomend this hotel .

Had an overnight stay between flights - and had booked an incredible rate for this hotel which made me worried that it would be a low quality hotel. So was very delighted at the wonderful service and the very nice room. Had a lovely sleep - shower and back to the airport. Did not get to see anything but was very pleasantly surprised and happy with the accommodation and responses from the desk staff who assisted me with currency and negotiations with taxi drivers alleviating a lot of confusion and potential worry.

the room was very comfortable and close to town. The free shuttle bus was also a bonus. The staff were very helpful and we definately would stay there again.

I didn't satisfied with the bathroom because there was a bad smell inside the bathroom all the time. ( from the first time we enter the room till the last day we leave it )

The Novotel Abu Dhabi was brilliant. We were travelling with our 19 month old daughter and the staff were so so accommodating - upgraded us to a bigger superior room FOC, catered for her perfectly. The food, room service, restaurant, porters, reception staff etc were extremely happy, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel to any families or travellers wanting to break up a long journey to or from Europe. Thank you !

This hotel is a hidden gem belting service and a friendly smile every morning at breakfast and the food was excellent, the rooms were spacious and so comfy the bed was really comfy the surrounding area was good to explore lots to see and not enough time to see it all go to the emirates palace but dont go in shorts we did and they turned us away alsogo to the heros bar at the crown plaza also a hidden gem will be going back and would recomend this hotel to any one a big thanks to all the staff who made our few days worth it you made us feel so welcome from frount of house to the maid who cleaned our room thanks..

Stayed there two nights during my recent trip. Good location - walking distance to Corniche, Big Bus stop (receptionist adviced us to go until we can see "a big canyon" which we couldn't found - it turned out it was a big CANNON :-))), very good breakfast, fast WLAN for free (up to 5th floor, then wired), friendly staff. Although avoid "hotel taxi" (it seems family of friends of doorbell guy) - we asked for a taxi for the morning drive to mangrove kayaking tour and they gave us a driver (which were promised to know where to go) who drove us somewhere else and finally he couldn't find our location so we missed the tour... Just a block away a lot of local stores and small bars serving local food (worth trying!)

Trés bon accueil, et surtout très bon rapport qualité prix. Je le recommande
