We booked this motel because all the local motels/hotels were booked with construction workers that were in town working on a plant that is being constructed. We did not realize this was a motel as opposed to a hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised when we saw the cleanliness of the room. One thing we were not happy with is the size and lay-out of the bathroom. The closet where the tub and toilet are located are extremely tight quarters. Other than that, we we okay with the smell, size and decor of the room and the location. Often times when we ask for a non-smoking room you can still smell old smoke or a strong smell of some kind of air freshener trying to mask it, but in this case we had neither of those experiences. We also enjoyed that the beds were so comfortable. A little heavier blanket would have been nice. But overall, we had a good experience at the LaQuinta Inn in Victoria.

I stayed here around 4 or 5 years ago and it was dropping down my list of places to stay. I hear they have remodeled recently and everything was nice and clean. The room smelled clean, which I didn't expect. The only thing I noticed that may drop the rating more if I had my kids with me was the pool. It was very foggy and dirty. I don't think it had been cleaned in a while. Other than that, great stay.

La quinta was a welcome surprise. they seemed to want you to come back as compared to the other hotels in this area where they just want your money.

The place was an older place but clean for the most part. The breakfast was not what I expected and the poor person manning it was having to also do the desk, phone and try to fix a broken part on the waffle batter dispenser. She was great, hanging in there but not having a good morning at all. The temperature in the lobby was very hot too. Would stay here if I had to save money but would probably not.

The interior of the room was ok. The beds were not queen, but full which we did not like. The bathroom was clean except for some black spots on the tile around the tub. The carpet appeared to be clean. We did not use the refrigerator or microwave. Our wake up call was right on time and the complimentary breakfast was ready, hot and adequate.

First of all, we did not get the non-smoking room with king size bed as confirmed. They only had a king size smoking room or a room with two double beds. We ended up taking the room with two double beds. When we got to the room, we found the coffee pot with old coffee that had mold in it. We will definitely not use this hotel at any time. They get a very bad score from us.

For about the same amount you can stay at the Hampton Inn in Victoria. it is newer with great customer service. The La Quinta either needs a major overhaul or needs to be torn down. Also the front desk customer service is, for the most part, non-existent.

I was not disappointed with my stay. My room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the only problem I encountered was the bathroom tub faucet leaked continuously all night...closing the door solved the problem. Only negative feedback, I think it's a little pricey for Victoria. I paid 113.00 for one night stay.

I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are insanely over priced for the facility. My next visit to Victoria will be either the Marriot or Holiday Inn. If I am going to pay top price for a double, I might as well get my money's worth. I think the room rate is far too much for what you get and a coat of paint will never fix that. My advice is to "get your money's worth" at a another hotel.

It wasn't the cleanest room ever (coffee maker was dirty inside, one comforter looked like it had been on the floor, and bathroom was small, old, and had a stray hair), but it was pretty much as expected for the price and area. Staff was friendly and efficient, and free breakfast was good with a lot of variety. If you're looking for a basic place to stay at a cheap price, then this is a really good deal. It is also walking distance to the Victoria Mall and several restaurants.

Searched the area for a pet-friendly motel. This La Quinta in Victoria fit the bill and did not disappoint. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. The Mall of Victoria was right across the street, offering lots of eating choices and all the latest movies. We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were in good condition but the pool was closed and there were no fridges or microwaves in the rooms. However the rooms were nice and beds were comfortable.

In all of my life, I have stayed at only ONE hotel I considered worse than this La Quinta. The rooms were not well maintained, and I don't even want to begin to guess what those stains all over the bathroom wall were. It was nice to have a place to sleep, and the beds were comfortable. But, that is about all that was good. Not very clean, not very nice. And, the hotel was oversold. So, after much discussion with the clerk, we got our rooms, but that meant that someone else with reservations were without rooms.

I enjoyed the quietness of the room although we were right next to the pool area. Location is great with the mall across the street & plenty of resturants to chose from.

Older than I expected. Pool was green, cloudy, and had algae. Ran out of breakfast food at 8 A.M. Mostly out of town workers staying there. Stood around loitering in parking lot drinking beer. You could tell they were drunk. We had to walk around them to get to stairs to go to our room.Got a knock at the door at 10:30 at night from a drunk, went to the wrong room! Normally like LaQuinta but this was awful!!! Now will think twice before choosing La Quinta.Also, received vehicle damage in parking lot. when checking out agent was very rude. didn't even look upat me.

Comfortable hotel off of Highway 77. Stayed there just one night durring a trip back home. Friendly staff and very comfortable room with complimentary WiFi internet.

I thought this hotel was fine. The room was large, clean and it has a great location across from restaurants and the mall. It was less expensive than others in the neighborhood and gave decent customer service. The breakfast was good.

The room was clean and the bed slept comfortably. Got checked in right away without trouble.

Older hotel but newer linens and mattress. Advertised "high speed internet" but we could not connect and front desk was completely uninformed and offered no resolution. Hot breakfast consisted of waffles and was generally unimpressive compared to other La Quintas we've visited. Not a great value for the money but adequate.

Room was clean and comfortable

We stayed 2 nights and were quite surprised with the excellent quality of the rooms. The bedding seemed relatively new. The a/c unit worked great which was a plus since it was 100+ degrees outside. The breakfast was small but decent, it had waffles which were quite good. It's location really can't be beat. Across the street from the mall and right on Navarro. You're within walking distance of the Denny's, IHOP, Target. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and clean. There were always people out swimming and hanging out by the pool. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is across from the Mall. Behind it was Target.

The staff was down to one person..No manager in sight..Online check in states 1:OOpm but when we got there they said 3:00 and they were understaffed; no rooms were cleaned yet so we had to return at 3:00 and still no rooms were available. After much complaining we got a room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone....
