La Quinta Inn Cheyenne - تشيني

It was great except the elevator smelled SO BAD!!!!! Really!!! Like old, dirty carpet and old body odors.

I am a handicapped traveler and at first they did not have a handicapped room reserved for us. But after explaining the situation, they gladly exchanged rooms and even brought in a recliner from another room so that I was able to sleep comfortably. We will definitely stay there again.

The fan in the room would work and it was to late to call maintenance. There was hair on the floor in the bathroom and the one towel was covered in hair as well. Was the room even cleaned? The bed seemed ok but it makes you wonder.

Reservation was for a handicap room. Was told they did not have handicap rooms only smoking and non smoking rooms. They put me in a smoking room. I'm on oxygen and don't smoke. I had paid for two nights and when my key would not work for the second night I was told that I had done something to the key and nearly had to beg to have them reissue me a key that would work. I will not be staying there again or recommending anyone stay there.

The lady at the reception was rude curt. She was more keen on playing with her phone than talking to us. Room was very tiny. NO COMPLETE BATH KIT IN ROOM!! WHEN ASKED THEY SAID WE ONLY HAVE SOAP AND SHAMPOO!!! Not sure if all la quinta have this.

the motel was fine but my original room the heater didn't work so they gave me a smaller one without a fridge or microwave but still charged me the same price. The last day they went up on the price, not real happy with that.

I was satisfied with my stay. Hotel seemed a little dated but was clean and comfortable. The low price was great as well.

This hotel needs some updating. The entire hotel and rooms need some serious updating. The biggest thing I hated about this hotel was the location. It was right next to a RAIL YARD! Trains were going through 24 hours a day and blowing horns at least every other hour, got very annoying. The room besides being outdated was clean, but i wouldn't recommend staying here. We stayed in a different hotel on our return trip and was much happier with our 2nd stay in town at the other hotel.

The room smelled like diesel fuel. Air freshner didnt help, we asked to be moved to another room and were declined. Entrance door closest to our room didnt work, one card key was not activated to open room door. Tv programming is very limited and user interface is unhelpful. Though we are a La Quinta rewards club members, I would stay at a hole in the wall motel before i stayed in this particular hotel again.

well lets start with the heater system, it didnt cycle either too hot or tooo cold and you had to turn it on and off to try to control temp.. the toilet didnt flush right acted like it was plugged. room was clean except for someones dirty sock left behind, wireless was slow and didnt connect most of the time. i will not stay there again for the price i had to pay i can get a nice room else where.

The hotel had a bad smell to it. It smelled really bad musty smell on the elevator and the hallway smelled like smoke. The breakfast area was a mess. The garbage cans were overflowing.

Dirty, uncomfortable and made looking forward to camping in a rat invested rainy night in a trash dump. Other than that a great location if you like the sounds of eighteen wheelers buzzing buy!

Stay away from this hotel. it is dirty, reeks of many odors, animal, mildew and mold. A truly bad night was spent in this hotel.

The outside area of this hotel was very dirty........ Bottle caps, misc. paper, cig butts and other trash...... We will not return to this property nor will we recommend it to others..............

I have stayed at other La Quinta Hotels and they have been fine, but this one was noting like the others. Small rooms, bathroom was dirty, the beds didn't seem to be queen size like the website said, and the breakfast was mostly prepackaged muffins and bagles, and there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. My family requested that we never stay again at a La Quinta.

This was the only hotel room we could find in the surrounding area on our cross-country drive. The hotel staff was very helpful to us even though the hotel was 100% booked. It was conveniently located by the interstate. The continental breakfast was nice. My wife thought it smelled like animal urine in part of our room. I couldn't tell. I'm sure if the hotel wasn't fully booked they would have changed our room for us. The bottom line is that it had helpful staff and that it met our needs.

when you walked into the hotel it had a bad smell and I booked a King bed, non-smoking and when we arrived all they had was a smoking room. Overall the hotel wasnt to bad once you got past the odor.

rooms were nice and clean, but way to expensive for quality of hotel.

Convenient to the interstate and the airport. Great place for a dog.

Very nice hotel, easy to get to off the interstate! Check in was very easy and the clerks were very friendly. Our room was very roomy, and the bed was clean and comfortable. There is a Village Inn in the parking lot of the hotel, so it was so handy for supper and breakfast!

Nothing fancy, but clean rooms and perfect when driving through, as we were.

Bad location, but there were a number of other hotels close-by. Rail yard across road . Building was generally in need of a good cleaning, but room appeared just ok. Been in a better La Quenta.

I specifically booked a hotel with a pool and paid more for a hotel with a pool, so my boys could swim after a long day on the road. The pool was not opened yet for the season. They should advertise pool months such as open July through August.

I recently stayed at this hotel on a cross-country trip. When we first got to our room it had not yet been cleaned. So we got switched to another room. The new room had a Tube TV and not an LCD like the first one had. We asked to be switched back to our original room as soon as it was cleaned, and the staff was nice enough to let us do so. Overall the staff was friendly and personable. The room was clean and neat. The shower/tub was not the best but did the job. The continental breakfast was quite bad, with only the very basic breakfast options. I would recommend this hotel to you only if you're staying one night as we did. The average price is fair given the overall quality of the hotel.

We had a one night stop over in Cheyenne and decided to stay at the La Quinta as they are usually really nice, but that was not what we experienced. In this hotel we found the room needed to be remodelled, as did the bathroom. The bed was hard as a rock! And the walls were so thin the man that sneezed in the hallway sounded like he was in our room. We won't be staying there the next time we are going through town.

After checking in I went to the room at about 6pm. A short time later a maid came by and knocked on the door. She said: "Is your room clean, I had marked down that it wasn't." I had not been there very long so everthing looked as clean as the outdated room could get. I said that it looked okay, turns out it wasn't. The bathroom had dirty towels and residue. By no means was it gross and I just lived with it rather than making a stink and moving all my stuff to a new room. Be aware of the railroad that runs near this hotel. Trains came by at 12, 4am and 7am. This is probably an issue for any hotel in the Cheyenne area and not the fault of La Quinta. Overall, I will try another place next time I am in Cheyenne.

Check in was smooth, clerk was pleasant. Beds were 2 small doubles, and a XL table in front of the heater that blocked airflow and took up too much space. Beds weren't comfy - hard and small. Vent in bathroom full of dirt. Walls were paper thin, heard neighbors talking from 9 - 11, then at 11 start fighting and swearing so called front desk to complain. Desk handled it asap. Breakfast prewrapped bagels, wrapped muffins, yogurt, fruit, cereal, waffles. Adequate. It served the purpose for the night.

The hotel was pleasant-only problem was no ice machine on our floor, due to broken pipes.

Very satisfied with all aspects of the motel. We'll stay there again if we're in the area.

Clean and comfortable room. Flawless wi-fi access (important to me). I would stay there again.

It's a 2.5 start hotel, so my expectations were not high. Though the amenities are sparse (combination face/body bar, combination shampoo/conditioner, old tv, low ceilings) this place was super quiet. The carpet has great padding to muffle sound. I did not hear anything when I was in the room for sleep. Clean, quiet. All I needed.

It was comfortable and clean. Old TVs and seems dated... Good for price

Room was nice. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a bit limited. But the overall experience was very good. Will probably stay here again in the future.

I was very pleased with my stay here. It was quiet and clean. To my surprise, I could even open the windows a little to get some fresh air-something I can rarely do at most hotels.

Very nice place to stay. Close to Interstate edge of town. Nice clean room, good breakfast, Would stay there again

Landed in DEN and was on our way to Rapid City. This was a convenient stopover. Rooms were comfortable and clean, brkfst adequate. Really can't complain. Overall, good stay for the money.

Generally a dingy hotel, and staff were not that friendly. They were real sticklers about the check-out time, which seemed a bit unnecessary.
