Close to Alexanderplatz, shops, all transport. Staff were very friendly and helpful - they did all they could to make us feel at home. Breakfast was excellent. We couldn't fault anything about it.

Radisson Blu Hotel, Berlin Great location to major attractions in Berlin. Right next to museum island. Boat tours of the spree river at your door step. Heat restaurant in the hotel had good food at reasonable prices. Service was excellent. Good coffee shop right next door, Balzac. Like a german Starbucks. Cab service is available 24 hours at front door. We loved it!

This is the third time we have stayed here - that tells a lot? The staff are excellent, the rooms are spotless and the location cannot be faulted. Either a bus almost door to door from Tegel, or the airport express train almost door to door from Schoenefeld. An excellent walking tour starts off just 5 minutes walk from the hotel at Hackescher markt - excellent. If you're not sure where to go just ask the concierge. They are all very knowledgeable and helpful. We will be back.

Yes, the aquarium is cool, but that isn't why I liked this hotel. This is why: 1) After a long night of travel, they let me check in at 9:15 am. 2) The bed was super comfortable. 3) My room was very quiet. 4) The staff was friendly and helpful. 5) I went for a long run on one of the treadmills in their fitness facility. 6) The internet connection was free and fast. 7) There's a taxi line right outside the door. 8) There's a good coffee place right outside he door. 7) The location in general was good.

This was one of our most enjoyable hotel stays in a long time. Breakfast was excellent, and staff were friendly and professional. Ideal location next to Museum Island and the Cathedral. Couldn't fault the hotel. Pool area was spotless also.

Rooms were clean and a perfect size for two. The aquarium in the lobby was special and gave the entire hotel a weird vibe. The breakfast was as expected, nothing extraordinary but great variety and for 2 mornings it was served on 7th floor with a great view :) Location was very central, close to Alexander Platz and under den linden - even better Schönhauser district with lovely shopping. Staff helpful even with a full house for new years. The hotel is recommended.

This is a wonderful hotel, the thing which strikes you most on arrival is the location, very close to the business district, when you walk in you are welcomed by a giant aquarium, filled with beautiful fish and sitting at the bar, after a flight with a glass of wine is very relaxing. i would recommend this hotel to anyone who loves to be surrounded by beautiful thing,s the rooms are comfortable and most rooms have a decent view of either the street or the aquarium.

We have only good things to say! The details were exquisite..location perfect! We had both a street view room and an aquarium view to the lobby. Christmas Day buffet was 5 star. Concierge service ideal! An early arrival was no problem and the complimentary coffee " window " in the lobby for early risers was a BONUS! The staff, every one of them, from reception through to housekeeping, were attentive, polite and charming. Food and beverage was of an extremely high calibre and not unduly expensive for a five star hotel. Our room didn't have a view really, but it didn't much matter, the room itself was beautifully clean and well appointed and we weren't in Berlin to sit in our room! It goes without saying the mega fishtank in the middle is stunning and it's a great bar for people watching. If I had one minor gripe it would be the seating for breakfast which is a bit chaotic, but with (I would guess) over a hundred different food and drink items to choose from, hey, who cares!!

The Radissin Blu is ideally situated for access - 5 minutes from Alexanderplatz station, with trains, S- and U-Bahn connections, bus and tram. It is on the banks of the River Spree, directly opposite the imposing Berlin cathedral and within easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants and bars as well as the Museum Island, which is home to four of the city's major museums. A short bus ride takes you along the iconic Unter den Linden boulevard, past the Opera, Humboldt University en route to the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag. As with all 5* establishments, the Radisson Blu has excellent facilities, with a 'Wellness' centre, with pool, saunas, steam rooms and a small gym area which are all free to use and the restaurant, lobby bar and breakfast room are all spacious and comfortable with excellent choices of food and drink. Rooms are large and well-equipped, with free wi-fi throughout the hotel. We were particularly impressed with the staff, who were unfailingly helpful without being overbearing and were all well-trained and professional. After the first contact they would be able to greet guests by name, which is always a good sign. We stay here whenever possible on our regular visits to Berlin and would recommend it anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious environment which retains the personal touch and does not have inflated prices.

This Hotel was in a fabulous location and was stunning architecturally however lacked the common comfort details that most travellers require. There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. There were very few TV channels for english speaking tourists and no movie channels - not even pay per view. The nights were boring if you wanted to just relax ... you can only watch so much of BBC World News!!

This hotel has it all! Location is perfect; a short walk to city transit and sightseeing buses stop at the front door! The staff are meticulous...prices VERY reasonable. We had NO complaints on a split stay at 2011 Christmas...they even stored our luggage while we went on a side trip. Early morning comped coffee and snacks in the lobby were great when you're up at 5 a.m. Visit over the Holidays and all Berlin is at your doorstep, including markets and restaurants. We would not even consider anyplace else on a visit to Berlin. Denis & Michele M.

The staff in the hotel were always friendly and smiling and could not do enough to help you. A great hotel and well situated in the centre of Berlin. The only criticism I could make relates to one morning the tissues in the Bathroom and the complimentary tea bags in the room were not topped up. Small problems that were easily rectified. This hotel is visually amazing. The aquarium in the foyer sets the scene. The hotel is well situated in the east side of the city and right beside a main transport link for train, tram, underground and buses to take you around the whole city. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all aspect of our stay. Definitely recommend this hotel as a base or for a romantic break away.

Location couldn't be better for east and west berlin. Bang in centre next to Cathedral and museums. 5 mins walk from Alexanderzplatz station. 20 mins from Schonfeld airport. Modern hotel with amazing fish tank. Breakfasts are amazing. Great choice of food. Tourist attraction in its own right. Artistic quarter of Mitte around the corner. Rooms comfortable. Quibble about very soft pillows. No choice of softness. Rooms warm so need aircon on which is not unusual these days.

stayed at this hotel on 3rd dec for three nights,would highly recommend this hotel to everyone ,staff at hotel were excellent and very helpful the hotel is in an excellent location with trams and trains very close to anywhere you want to travel and great valu at 3 eur a ticket would definitely recommend hotel and mitte area fantastic really happy with everything.

Perfect location for major sights . Museum isle is next door.

The hotel is very impressive, very clean and modern, location is also very central for cultural visits. Never been to Berlin before and it was a very enjoyable experience.

this hotel is wonderful, as soon as you walk in you are mesmerized by the giant fish tank in the receiption which goes up quite a few floors, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the variety of food on offer is excellent and varied, the breakfast buffet is never ending and it is so convientently located for the financial district of Alexanderplatz (5 min walk). i would recommend this hotel and i give it 5 stars across the board.

Probably only 5 star hotel because of the aquarium in the lobby. The bed was uncomfortable for me personally and stayed in more comfortable at 3 star hotels. Good location and i had no complaints with the service but would probably try somewhere else for my next Berlin stay.

Very good hotel - but 2 points : Better value restaurants are available within a short walking distance, and the breakfast is overpriced unless you are a very big eater, which myself and my daughter are not. Also, my daughter had to dash back to our hotel room because she had forgotten something, prior to joining a pre-booked tour 5 minutes walk away. After leaving our 3rd floor room, she found that the lifts had stopped working. She then found that the emergency stairs doors were locked! She had to phone reception and ask for someone to get her downstairs. This not only made her late for the tour, but also makes me wonder what happens if there is a fire.

My wife and I could not find fault with this hotel.All staff were very friendly and helpful.The hotel is located close to all types of transport which made it very easy to get around berlin.

Location perfect ,next door to berliner dom,television tower and unter den linden, 15 mins walk to brandenburg gate.city bus tours pass front door. Breakfast is a must with your stay , great food and variety.

Very close to Alexanderplatz where you can get overground or underground to anywhere in Berlin even within walking distance of many attractions. The staff, food and room were excellent. We were also very lucky and got a room facing the museum island for no extra cost. At the price would recommend it to anyone.

The Radisson Blu has well-earned its 5-star rating. It's sleek, beautiful and comfortable. The giant aquarium in the foyer (cleaned by divers) is mesmerising. Everything you need is at the hotel - gym, spa, massage, meals; though I'd recommend the little arcade nearby for some cheaper eats (from traditional schnitzel & sausage through to Asian food). The location is easy and you could cycle to anywhere central from there.

The hotel itself is very nice. The restaurant is quite pricey but I suppose that's to be expected. The one thing that bothered us is that they entered our room and cleaned it despite the "do not disturb" sign. We had money and valuables out but they weren't disturbed which is good. They did also leave a card stating they had entered and cleaned for "safety reasons"... Whatever that means.

very satisfied. good costumer service. I would stay here than anywhere else. perfect location. Going to Tegel Airport is so convenient. There is a bus that goes straight called TXL just a few steps from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

Ideal location for sightseeing and transport. Probably best to go slightly further afield when going for dinner/drinks though as all those near the hotel are touristy and pricey. The hotel and bar staff were very friendly and helpful - responded to any of our requests immediately (e.g. request for iron, extension on checkout time at no extra cost etc.). The room was very clean and comfortable with nice decor. No complaints from either myself or my boyfriend. We would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel or recommending it to others.

A fabulous hotel. Very modern with the most amazing aquarium in the receoption area. Breakfast was the best. A huge range of buffet food beautifully presented and with very good staff waiting on. Room was excellent and with the opportunity to use the spa facilities in the basenent of the hotel at no cost except for treatment, what more would you want on holiday. Will definately return.

Hotel was gorgeous, and staff very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were very clean and beds and linens were very nice. The best part was the amazing breakfast. Omelet/waffle station plus everything else. The lobby with its massive fish tank was spectacular. Sitting at the bar in the lobby watching the fishes in the evening was very nice. Location very central.

This has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at. It was close to all attractions had friendly staff best bed and also great views if the cathedral. If I am ever in Berlin again this will be first on my list of places to stay. Had friendly staff who were also very helpful and spoke great English. I wanted to stay longer jut because of the hotel itself.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff were really helpful and the surroundings fantastic. It's very central for Berlin's sights and our view straight on to the River Spree really impressed us. Would really recommend a stay here.

A really stylish and comfortable hotel. The staff were delightful and helpful , the breakfast was sumptuous and the view of the cathedral from our hotel balcony was breathtaking . My teenage son and I were totally suited here.

After a long hot and uncomfortable journey The Radisson Blu Hotel was the perfect comforting haven for my eight day stay in Berlin. My suite was most comfortable clean and bright. The staff were very efficient but not intrusive. The hotel facilities were 5 star. I loved my Wellness Spa experience and the bar/ bistro drinks and food were served in relaxing area overlooked by the massive intriguing aquarium. A delightful, modern, beautifully appointed hotel, well situated for both walking to all important sites and also well served by public transport beside the River Spree. Highly recommended.

5-star in every way, the hotel is brilliantly located, just across the canal from the magnificent DomKirche du Berlin, with canal cruises from outside your front door. And the fishtank in the foyer is amazing! :o)
