Great location, great staff, rooms in dire need of upgrade. Peeling paint, worn and torn carpets, felt like 1984.

The breakfast buffet was pretty gross but otherwise I was very pleased. The location was great, the staff were nice, the room was clean. I would definitely stay there again if I had to be in the Inner Harbor area.

Parking in downtown Baltimore is expensive. Be prepared and look around online ahead of time for cheaper options if you want to pay less than $30 for parking.

The location was the main priority for safety reasons. We had a good time because the hotel was literally across the street from convenient stores and the Baltimore Harbor. We did not have to worry about parking. It"s valet.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staft went out of their way to accommodate us. They were extremely professional and helpful.

I chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the inner harbor area. I didn't expect it to be 5 star, but I did expect to at least have a clean room and service. I stayed two nights with a friend. No one ever came to clean our room after the first night, so I had to call and ask for towels, coffee refill, etc. Also, the bathroom smelled like urine, which was pretty offputting. Fortunately, we weren't spending much time in the room, but I am disappointed in the amount of money that I spent on this hotel for the service I received. I will say however, that the front desk staff was always very helpful and responsive when engaged.

Great service; friendly staff; convenient to Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Camden Yards ballpark.

Nice, clean, modern rooms, though a bit small. Fantastic location for harbor attractions, aquarium, Little Italy and the big conference hotels, such as the Marriott Waterfront. 15 minute walk to that/Little Italy. Very comfortable bed for side sleepers. 2 blocks from Harbor. Good rate - less than 1/2 the conference hotel rate 2 weeks in advance.

not the newest and definitely needed some TLC, but can't beat the price, location, or free hot breakfast/internet. small rooms. staff service excellent.

My first impression was 1.Great, convenient location 2. AMAZING customer service! I arrived several hours before check in, was greeted at the door and immediately had someone check if my room was ready. It wasn't, so they offered to place my bags in bag check, gave me the wifi code and let me join in the hot breakfast bar. Breakfast was amazing! Wifi is great and available in the whole hotel. When my room was ready I checked in and went up. My first impression was it was spacious but really out dated. There were carpet and wall stains, and a really weird looking bug on the ceiling. There weren't many convenient outlets, BUT the bed was clean and comfy. Once the hotel gets renovated, it will be PERFECT!

Our only regret was we only had one night to stay at this hotel. As nice as it is, we were told they are planning a major renovations project. I hope we get a change to stop in Baltimore again to see the results. We had the prefect match of " very close to Inner Harbour" and not "super pricey". Sorry we had such cloudy, rainy weather so we didn't get the best advantage of the "Cloud Club's" upper floor for breakfast. Every member of the staff was very pleasant. Great bed, huge towels! Would def stay again.

Over all nice hotel, we would stay agian.

My husband and I booked one night at the hotel for a quick anniversary getaway. I had called the night before to make sure that the hotel valet parking was 24 hours so we could park and then spend the day at the harbor before checking in. When we went to drop our keys off at the front desk, I asked if it was possible to check in that early (11:30am vs. 4pm) and the clerk said that they did have rooms ready so we could. He was very friendly and helpful! We could see the harbor from our room and loved being able to walk to all the shopping and dining spots. The room was bigger than expected and had a kitchenette area, the bed was very comfy. The breakfast buffet wasn't too impressive but I didn't have high hopes. The staff that we encountered were very polite and friendly. The ONLY complaint that I must share is the noise! I had read another review talking about it and thought they might have been exaggerating... they were not. I am a somewhat heavy sleeper and am used to some noise but it sounded like our windows were open and could hear all traffic and even loud conversations on the street (and we were on the 5th floor). The loose manhole cover banging woke me up a couple times in the night. I guess if you bring earplugs or have a room that isn't facing the street, it won't be an issue? I hope they can invest in some noise dampening curtains and maybe replace the windows...

I have stayed here several times while visiting my daughter tat college. The staff are excellent and the rooms are quite comfortable. Very convenient location for dinner and shopping.

The staff and service level was very kind to me and my family. I would recommend this to anyone with small children.

too bad hotel has no control over noisy manhole covers that thump loudly when every car runs over it. Only other complaint is one mornings breakfast was mostly French toast with bagels or toast. Lots of bread; however, there was yogurt. All in all was pleased with hotel and staff.

Second time I have stayed here I a find it very satisfactory. Hotel is clean, staff are excellent and location is great for the inner harbor. Would happily stay again if Im there on business and its good value.

I'm not sure if it because we used Hotels.com or they were very busy but we g ot a very noisy room one that should not be used for guests. Our window was right where the garbage truck collected for the neighborhood, it took 15 min. and it was at 6:30am! Our window faced an alley that is apparently used by party goers that milled around under our window.There must be a tavern on that block. Needless to say we won't stay there again!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating when we had a problem.

The free breakfast was dissapointing otherwise the hotel was great.

The lobby is gorgeous and trendy. All of the staff greet you with a smile and 'Hello". Check in is fast, smooth and the friendly staff is very accommodating. The breakfast is good and David is very attentive to the food and any requests. The dining area is wonderfully designed and Cloud is a perfect name for it. Nice view of the city through the large floor to ceiling windows. I always look forward to staying here. There is a refrigerator in the lobby with Haagen Daz ice cream bars. :) Can't wait to stay again. Deborah,NYC

Nice stay! Close to the Inner Harbor, good free breakfast, pleasant staff and very comfortable beds. Two room suite was spacious with nice views.

Location is close to the harbor. Staff at the hotel are friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Rooms were Clean Would stay again.

The hotel was a little old, and the wallpaper was falling apart in some areas of our room. The bed was super comfortable, the shower had amazing water pressure, the cloud suite had an amazing view and breakfast was very good especially since it was free. The hotel is a 2 min. walk from inner harbor and the Baltimore Aquarium and Inner Harbor. We went to the Aquarium the first day. It's also 2 mins from Power Plant Live which was really our cup of tea but looked like an interesting venue. We spent most of our time in Fells Point at Kooper's, Bertha's, and seafood joint 4 doors down from Kooper's. Kooper's had half of belgian beer night so Chimay's were only $5. Also, little bit northwest of inner harbor there is an amazing diner called Paper Moon that has very vibrant and interesting decor from old toys. We also toured Camden Yards for $9 an adult and $6 for kids which was really cool and you can walk around most of the stadium for free and the Babe Ruth museum is close by too.

hotel was ok. need better signage to help people figure out where to pull in for valet parking. Valet parking COSTS TOO DARN MUCH No self parking at the hotel. Open the dag on door when people are buzzing at night. The so-called breakfast is butt garbage. Room is alright though.

Definitely a hotel I will go to again. They are only two blocks from the inner harbor, and you can see the water from some rooms. It was incredibly clean and the staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the view from our room, which faced a seemingly abandoned brick building with broken windows. Next time I will request a room with a different view.

Went to Baltimore to connect with old friends. Hotel location was great for the harbor and stadiums. Suite was roomy and comfortable. Very satisfied with the Brookshire Suites. Would book again.

This is a wonderful little hotel, just a block from the Inner Harbor. The staff was outstanding--friendly and helpful. Nice shower, nice big towels, good breakfast.

Was a very convenient location, and easy walk to the inner harbor. Continental breakfast was very good and staff was helpful in giving us directions, letting us check in a bit early and stored our luggage for a couple of hours the day we checked out. The free city bus stops a block away, so it was easy to get to and from amtrak.

The location is right near the harbor life (food, drink, etc.) and makes this place good for its prices. Complaints would be: the room had a lot of scuffed walls, dinged and damaged furniture, and generally felt like whatever recent updates were a rush job. NB: there's a $30/night valet parking charge (non-valet was not offered).

Weak points: (1) Awful noise all night long due to loose manhole cover right outside our room. (2) Sofa looked old and 'grungy'; (3) No hair dryer; (4) Just one towel, hand towel and wash cloth per person. Stronger points: (1) Hotel service and staff were excellent; (2) Convenient location.

The Brooshire was a great place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They clearly love what they do. They location was perfect, right in the heart of the inner harbour, and thr amenities like the complimentary breakfast added a lot. The room could have used a little maintenance, like an iron that worked and a door that closed fully, but the staff's tlc kept it well otherwise. I would definitely stay here again.

Third time staying here and 1 thing is consistant. Very nice people work here, but they either need more of them or better training. Over billed upon checkin, no maid service, no towels when requested. Everything worked out in the end, but it could be better. I keep coming back so the experience must be positive overall.

Breakfast was delicious, view from the Cloud room beautiful while we ate

generally good - room was small but comfortable and clean - good size refrigerator in room - view looking out towards inner harbor was nice - bathroom small - unusual smell in hallway outside room one day - some street noise at night but it is downtown in a major city - website stated there was a manager's happy hour reception every day - we discovered there wasn't when we arrived - top floor Cloud Room very nice - nice view of inner harbor - substantial complimentary breakfast served her in am - parking expensive but it was at all the other hotels we checked - staff very helpful - valet service good

So nice place to be... and a very good price.....

THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE, BUT I WOULD HAVE LIKE TO HAVE HAD A ROOM WITH A VIEW, NOT A BRICK WALL TO A VACANT BUILDING. THE ROOM ITSELF WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE SHOWER WAS WONDERFULLY HOT! I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND VISIT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

The parking garage, across the street, charged me $52 for one night. When I pulled in, the sign read "$15.00 weekend rate" Got ripped off...DO NOT park at LAZ Parking. I should have just gone with valet.

The perfect spot for closeness to the Inner Harbor. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful Club House Room and breakfast. Can't say enough about the Brookshire. We will return and are already raving to our family and friends to visit.

Totally enjoyed staying there. Hotel amenities good. Loved the Breakfast in the Cloud Room. Hotel is on shabby chic side, however, General Manager said they were redoing rooms in September. Quality of service was great. Walking distance to Inner Harbor and Convention Center.

I expected way less than what was received from Brookshire Suites, due to the cost savings offered in comparison to the other local hotels. The service was great, the location was accomodating and the suite I stayed in was clean and comfortable for business and liesure. (Dining) The Cloud Club delivered great service for morning meals, and the food was overall pretty good. (Maintenance) The elevators do move a little on the slow side, but they do work. The cabinetry in my kitchenette seemed to have had a previous plumbing leak, so the door hardware and cabinet base were in need of maintenance repair...nothing major. The showers have great water pressure, and plenty of hot water. (Recommendation) I will definitely be booking rooms at the Brookshire Suites hotel in the future, and fully recommend them to other customers.
