The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The beds were too hard.

Convenient location, though some traffic noise. Carpeting and decor shows wear. Most exercise equipment missing and/or broken.

i had a great time at this hotel. very close to nightlife, and good places to eat nearby. also got a great deal on the room, so for a lone traveller like myself, close to ideal. would come here again. the people are also extremely nice, above and beyond what i normally expect.

Acceptable but could easily improve

The hotel was very nice! Had a few cracks on the tub but that's not a big deal. If it was closer walking distance to the main streets downtown would be better but overall very cute and comfy stay

This is a wonderful location. Just a few blocks from Granville Island and the False Creek beach. A wonderful place to walk. Our dinner in the restauarant was wonderful. The staff is very pleasant but inexperienced. The only reason I might not consider a future stay is a lack of room maintenance (door fell of its hinges twice) and the cost of an in-room movie rental ($16).

My wife and I were very satisfied with our stay at the Executive. Front desk was very helpful. Elevators are fast. Beds are comfortable. Lots of pillows although we carry our own. Traffic noise on the bridge side was audible but not a big distraction. Location was good for me as I was heading for the UBC Hospital. I would stay again.

Service personnel were polite and friendly, the room was comfortable, and the complementary wired and wireless internet service was convenient.

The room: They upgraded us to a "view room". This consisted of a obstructed view of the ocean and more predominately the nasty alley behind the hotel. The room was small but clean. The Jacuzzi tub was barely big enough for the two of us. The pillows were really lumpy, wish I had brought my own. Lastly the mini bar was barley cold. The staff: The front desk was not very knowledgeable regarding ideas of where to eat, but did call and get a reservation for us for dinner after we looked up where we wanted to go. The "free wine tasting" was a total joke. Don't waste your time. The Hotel: Felt like a motel trying to be fancy. The hot tub was NASTY full of floaters (dead skin cells ,hair) and $27 per day for parking is a racket. Won't be back.

Clean hotel with pleasant staff and a cozy room that was nicely furnished. A perfect place to stay for a night or two.

mattress was not confertable at all. wireless internet not working at all. Not an hotel i would reccomend

Great location, just blocks away from yaletown and still not far from everything else downtown has to offer. Great helpful service that recommended us to a very good restaurant as well. For our rooms the only real issue we had were the rock hard beds, but even that wasn't too bad. Recommend!!!

Front desk checked us in to a room. Then called and said the room might not have enough hot water and gave us another room. That was much better than finding out later that the hot water was limited!. Very pleasant stay!

Firstly our hotel wine tasting was cancelled. Next, our room was tiny with all windows, which I initially though was great, but I was very cold at night. The only wall without windows looked as if it had gone through some serious damage. We decided not to try the large jet stream bathtube after I found a long black hair lying in it and a cruket, broken shower curtain pole. Appart from the room quality, the personal was great - very friendly, smiling and ready to help.

Plan included complementary parking. Hotel was within reasonable walking distance of the Theatre area and a very wide variety of dining options. Easy to get to other Vancouver destinations by car.

except for maybe what was in my wineglass in the cozy lounge on the second floor. Delicious! After the teasing taster I sipped during the complimentary Happy Hour, I indulged myself with a full glass to go with the lovely food I ordered. The TV in the lounge with the depressing news was too distracting, so I moved 10 meters over to the 10-table restaurant and was in a different world. Enjoyed some creamy French toast for breakfast there too. My quiet, spacious room on an upper floor had a great bed with crisp linens, and a great view of English Bay, even on the grey day that it was. Soft fluffy towels in a very clean bathroom. Very handy to use the complimentary shuttle on a rainy night to go the handful of blocks to get to the Orpheum for my concert. When I booked my room, there was a promotion for free parking -- downtown free parking! Who does that? Very tempting to stay an extra night, but no time. One disappointment: jets not working well in Jaccuzzi on rooftop. Given it's outdoors, better changeroom with lockers would be nice. Definitely will be staying here again

The staff at the front desk are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. They did not charge me to print or fax a few things for work and told me to just leave with them and they would bring to my room. Awesome. And they were always helpful in extending my stay and giving me directions and ideas of what to do in the area. Housekeeping staff is very nice as well. Only complaint is the heat turning on in the single rooms can be quite loud and wake you. (the staff offered to move me to a different room) and the room next to mine had dogs in it that would bark any time. That was disappointing to have to deal with that at a nice hotel. Over all a nice place with nice staff.

Was a great view, great room, very comfortable and nice.

comfy and cozy place .....

Got this hotel for a great price on this website and got a free parking deal too. This hotel is close to all the downtown attractions and not far from Stanley Park. I stayed here with my husband and 8 year old son. We were upgraded for free to a larger room that had a jacuzzi tub. Nice! I would stay here again.

The hotel price and location were very reasonable, the room was a bit on the small side, however it fit the bill nicely. Free parking voucher saved some money on overnight parking too.

The jacuzzi bathtub was not as clean as I would have liked and the TV remote did not work properly. Other than that the hotel was a good place to stay.

Everything, especially the concierge was great! The only thing that was a bummer was that there was another guest there that smoked during our stay. It's supposed to be non-smoking, so it was frustrating waking up to smelling cigarette smoke.

Got this nice hotel in downtown Vancouver with complimentary parking. Anytime parking is free in any downtown city, it is a plus nowadays. Rooms were nice and perfect for people who are there to sleep, catch a little TV, and shower. Good price and location.

Given the close location to Robson/Granville, this was a sure fit. The free parking was a big plus, and the staff was very accommodating. The beds however, were so small and uncomfortable - no one slept well that night. However, for the price, the location and the whereabouts - definitely would recommend, as long as you upgrade to bigger beds!

I picked this hotel over other mainstream hotels in the area because of the complementary parking. The rooms were a bit cramped, but had everything to meet ones needs. Overall the hotel is more dated than the pictures lead you to believe but still nice. The location is great - leave your car in the garage and explore the city by foot.

Nice hotel, good location. Says it's a non smoking hotel but when we first checked in, our room smelled like an ash tray and it was obvious that it was heavily smoked in. Was nice of management to move us to a room that did not smell like smoke. Friendly staff and good service overall.

The hotel was very nice and helpful, However the first room we stayed in had a bad window seal that was on the street side of the hotel so all the noise of cars and horns was VERY loud. We moved to a different room the next night and it was much quieter and was nicer. The rooms were awkwardly small for how much this place cost, but at least there was over night parking underground in a secure garage, it normally cots a pretty penny, but i had a free coupon available and saved the money...

I recently stayed in the Executive Hotel Vintage Park in Vancouver. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the beds were like sleeping on concrete and the pillows were worn out and lumpy. The hotel manager emailed me to say she checked my room and the beds were "pillow top". If those beds were pillow top they must have been purchased 20 years ago. I had a miserable night's sleep and canceled my scheduled stay for the following weekend. A good night's sleep is very important to me, so I would not recommend this hotel unless you like an extremely hard mattress and a thin lumpy pillow.

We were very dissatisfied with our beds!! They were certainly not big enough for two people. Had a very uncomfortable night. These beds might be fine for one person but not for two. The lighting in the room was terrible. All the lights came on when the main switch was on, so when using the toilet at night, all the lights came on. Strange!!

Staff and hotel was nice and would stay there again however the room I got was right on the corner by the Granville overpass and it was extremely loud at all times. To make it worse the heater/air conditioning unit in the room was very loud. So loud that it woke me up every time it turned on, and I am not a light sleeper. I will stay there again next time in Vancouver as the location was good I was even able to walk home from Canucks game when i could not get a cab, just don't stay in room 412!

The service of front desk is very good.

This was a perfect stop for one night on our way to Whistler. Any longer and it would've been tough. The rooms are small and the beds are tiny. But the staff was very friendly and the location is good - can walk downtown to eat. And free parking was a big bonus as most places charge an additional $25-30 to park, which is a big chunk of the bill.

it's all in the little details, and thats where our stay wasn't "magical". The bathroom tub had a giant scrape down the middle, the grout in the tiles was cracked and had fallen out in some places, there was limescale on the tiles, the room service booklet in room had the incorrect times that it was available ( there is no room service after 9pm, when the restaurant closes) and the heater went off every 5 minutes with a bang and rattle, which for light sleepers is hard to sleep through. I also found the pillows to be lumpy and seemed low quality. But I'm just starting to get picky, ha! However, we loved the stay in the fact that we could walk to many different restaurants and shops, and the staff were very friendly. Overall we would not stay there again, but our staycation was awesome and the little things about the hotel did not affect our overall experience. For what we paid it was a warm place to sleep, and a great location to enjoy the downtown core.

I stayed at this Hotel with hopes that I could have easy access to downtown shopping within walking distance as well as it's proximity to Granville Island. I found that taking a bus or cab or walking to downtown locations was very convenient. I found the room a little tight in size, but I must admit that it was very clean and functional. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and I really enjoyed the restaurant and bar. I would likely stay here again on my next visit to Vancouver.

Hotel had a major breakdown of it's key cards on New Years Eve. The hotel staff had little way of getting into any room other that the accountant with one master pass key. While they worked diligently to get everyone in I wonder why there was no manager around to help remedy the issue. There were also no apologies made the following morning after the fiasco. The pictures of the rooms make them out to be larger than they are. They are very small. I n the winter the furnace runs at 60+ decibels and goes off every 30 minutes, making it hard to sleep. The hotel clerks told us that's just the way it is. Not a good value for the dollar.

I rarely write reviews. Especially reviews I have to create an account to write, but in this case it is the least I can do. This hotel has the typical qualities of a four star hotel -- nice modern, clean rooms, rooftop hot tub & garden with heat lamps, a great location near the nightlife and waterfront. But what sets this hotel apart and the reason I would always book this hotel every time I return to Vancouver is because of the service! Everyone was polite and helpful. A special thank you to Albert who takes pride in providing amazing service. He was helpful, knowlegable, and genuinely cares about your experience in Vancouver. He'll tell you why Vancouver is such a great city, how to save money, and what not to miss. Thank you Albert. Also a thank you to Damien for ensuring that our vacation was truly a vacation. I highly recommend this hotel!
