Clean room nice hotel, currently renovating the 7th floor but was not an issue.

The hotel is conveniently located and the staff are pleasant but the bed itself was one of the worst I've ever slept on. I woke up sore and felt unrested, I would go back personally however, the price was reasonable.

Very good location. Central to downtown federal govt offices, to theatres, and a few minutes to Parliament Hill and to historic Byward Market and Lower Town, Archives, Supreme Court and Bank of Canada. Undergoing some refreshing (renovations) that look to be completed very soon. Rooms very comfortable and well-appointed. Helpful staff.

Ok for the price. Room was small with small window. Didn't get the king we requested. Staff was very friendly.

I stayed at the Radisson January20&21st,2012. and truly enjoyed my stay there. I was amayzed to get a call from reception after arriving in my room to see if I was pleased with it and if I needed anything.I was quite impressed, as I have never heard of this before, as I stay frequently in hotels. My only complaint was that the towels could be softer, and the heating system a little quitier, which is often a problem in most hotels. Although it didn't keep me awake so that was a positive thing. I would defenitely recommend this hotel as the staff were friendly and helpful.. The location is perfect as you are close to everything in walking distance.

I'm an event planner and stayed at the Radisson on the weekend for a getaway with my husband. Everything was great. The bed has a "Sleep Number" mattress so it was extremely comfy for both of us. Good location, nice lobby, all the ammenities. A great bargain for cheaper than many of the other options!

Hotel services are good, staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and rate is very reasonable.

Heat/Air Fan was very noisy Fan in bathroom also very noisy No Wireless in the room, only in lobby.. (ethernet line available in room) Positive: the hot sauce at the restaurant is delish - bring a bottle home with you

Overall a pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Room size was little small but that could have been because of the large writing table/desk. It made getting to the A/C/heating unit awkward. Great downtown location. I recommend this to aynone planning a stay in Ottawa.

I enjoyed this hotel very much. Clean rooms, with adjustable bed firmness. 15 minute walk to the Market, and close to all other restaurants and coffee shops. Parking is pricey, $18, and is very tight to manage. There is cheaper parking around the hotel. Staff is excellent, attentive and very helpful. Would stay again.

A short distance from the sites within walking distance. Rooms were clean and adequate. Coffee provided in your room. Beds need to be updated to a pillowtop. Ok for our needs

The Radisson is bad need of an upgrade, especially for the high rates. The carpets are worn and frayed, the bathrooms old and the tvs are from another decade. We had just stayed in Montreal and Quebec City where our lodgings were superb and great locations and very reasonably priced.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, very professional. The locatin was in the finacial district and close to parliment buildings but there was no night life activities in immediate surroundings. Area was quiet and clean and short walk to shopping and attractions.

only hiccup...was I had booked a King Suite...they stuck me in a Queen suite....but they did change upon my request....

The hotel lobby and room seemed recently refurbished. The room was also very clean. And the location was excellent--right in the heart of downtown Ottawa, so within walking distance to most attractions, good shopping, restaurants, etc. Overall, for the price, a very good deal.

If you love old outdated overpriced uncomforable rooms, then this is the place for you. My biggest complaint is with ancient air conditioning unit and its three settings: Loud, Deafening, and Airplane Engine... the minimum setting still blows freezing cold at at the desk. As an added bonus you get a 32" tube TV that you can't see from the work desk and a free "HI" speed internet (no wireless). The connection was alright in the morning, but near useless in the evening. I've stayed in nearly every hotel in Ottawa and I would rank the Radisson near the bottom of my list.

Hotel was clean and easily accessible. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. Parking in the underground was easy to access but very tight in parking the car. We were missing a fridge in our room...would be a nice addition. Service was outstanding and never a wait for anything. You can't go wrong with this Radisson location!

no referigerator in room

The room was perfect for the amount of time we spent in the room. We had a sleep number king size bed and wow what a great night sleep. I primarily chose the hotel because of its close proximity to downtown tourist sites including the Byward Market. Byward Market is a must for great food in Ottawa. Enjoy your stay at the Radisson. The only small inconvience we had was lack of parking in the parking garage.........its 3 levels and small. But there is a parking lot across the street.

My wife and I went to Ottawa for a little get away and we were able to walk everywhere. The hotel location is great.

Lobby was bright and modern. It was a convenient location, parked and left the care for the duration. Elevators were working - no problems at all. Room was clean; my son liked the beds with the softness control. There was not a fridge in the room or wi-fi, we would have liked these, but since we were hardly there, it really didn't matter. We would go back.

Room we had was from the 80's across from thye elevators and next to the cleaning room where all the bedsheets and towels were piled in the hallway. There was only one person serving all the people for breakfast and the place was full. You can amaging how long it took.

WE found the stay there to be very comfortable. The staff were are very pleasent and helpful.The food in the resturant was excellent.Our room was clean and well kept.Would stay there again anytime.

I found the Radisson Ottawa Parliament Hill a great place to stay, close to verything downtown. The parking was expensive and very small spaces.

One elevator out of service. Poor parking

About a 10 Minute walk to the Hill and other 15 Minute walk to Byward Market. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Only problem was they had 1 of the 2 elevators shut down for updating (Canada Day was not the best time for this) Staff were friendly and there is also an underground parking garage, for added peace of mind.

Good Hotel....clean...courteous service....convenient location..would go back.

The location was close to the sites we wished to see, however one of their elevators was out of service and with both staff and customers using the only one left the waits were long. Be prepared to pay for parking in a small cramped underground lot.

Stayed at this hotel for Canada Day in Ottawa. The location is great, walking distance to War Museum, Sparks Street Mall, Parliament Buildings, Rideau Centre and By-Ward Market, however I was surprised that they chose their busiest day of the year to take one of their elevators off line for service, leaving guests waiting up to 10 minutes for the one remaining elevator, which was small and could comfortably hold only about 6 people (without luggage). We eventually just sucked it up and carried our bags up six flights of stairs. Also was told on check in that the parking garage was full and that I would need to make other arrangements. After driving around for half an hour I did find alternate parking (not cheap and not easy in a city of one-way streets and bus-only lanes), however on arriving back at the hotel chanced to overhear from another desk agent that there were in fact still spaces left in hotel parking. Room was very small and included no extra blankets, had to ask at the front desk and wait for the houseman to arrive (apparently he was stuck in traffic) so did not get extra blanket until after 10:30pm. The room was next to the ice machine so we were awakened 3-4 times between midnight and 5am by other guests getting ice from the noisy machine. I wouldn't call this a terrible hotel as it is clean and well-located but the convenience of the location did not balance the multitude of other inconveniences. Keep expectations low.

The hotel is nicely located and the service is allright. The advertisement shown on the internet site of the hotel shows an hotel of a higher quality than it is actually the case.
