We booked the LaQuinta Inn & Suites for a quick stop over on our way home from vacation, so we were only at the hotel about 12 hours. The hotel is pretty easy to locate and within a moderate walk to the Strip area, though might recommend just driving. The hotel itself feels like an older property, as some of the public areas, like the parking garage and the large interior halls felt kind of awkward and tired. The front desk staff both at check in and check out were terrific. Our room was very clean; the rooms appeared freshly remodeled. Everything you'd expect from a LaQuita property - decent supportive beds, linens a step up from the budget chains, nice flat screen television with premium satellite TV, frig and microwave in the room. The room was relatively quite, however we were staying on a Friday night - in Las Vegas - so there was some hallway noise in the middle of the night. We checked out very early to catch a flight, so did not have a chance to try the breakfast. Overall, very good property for the money. Would definitely recommend to others, and would try them again on another trip to Vegas.

Convenient for international airport., Complimentary shuttle to the strip. Friendly staff. Left before breakfast to catch plane so can't comment on complimentary breakfast.

This place was surprisingly nice...we weren't expecting much for the price. Wow!! Very comfy mattresses and pillows...and clean. It's a pet friendly place, so heard dogs yapping now and then, but we were aware of this amenity. Easy walk to the Thomas & Mack for basketball...Gordon Biersch restaurant right across the street...need we say more? ;)

A/C unit was broke, they fixed it. Ants in the bathtub, a lot of ants in the bathtub. Shower and sink leaked all over the bathroom floor and in to the hallway.

My wife and I fly in and out of Las Vegas often and do not live close to the airport...so we always reserve a room the day before we leave and the day we return. With complimentary shuttle service to McCarran Airport and the fantastic breakfast spread, we love La Quinta!

Great hotel at a terrific price. The night I stayed there it was filled with youth sports teams with a large amount of energy. A little loud until around midnight but not overly loud. Free breakfast is nice but a little limited...but then it is FREE. Paradise Road is right there in front (Note: it is one-way at Tropicana). It is convenient to the free parking at the LV Strip hotels...It might be difficult if you don't have a car and their bus is out delivering others. In all, a nice alternative to the big, smoke-filled hotels a few streets on Las Vegas Blvd.

We stayed at the La Quinta because it had a heated pool and jacuzzi in November. We loved the pool, which added greatly to our Las Vegas trip. We had a rental car. The car was no problem to park. The rooms were clean. We had a problem with a noisy neighbor when we first checked in, but the front desk moved us promptly with no hassle. The breakfast in the morning was ample with pancakes, cereal, bagels, yogurt, fruit, but you have to get there early on weekends. The price, the location, and the quality cannot be beat. We will stay there again when we return to Las Vegas.

The room was cozy however there weren't pillows on one bed. I saw two roaches in the room as well. For what I paid those nights I probably stayed at a strip property or another motel not so old...it's quiet, staff is friendly breakfast is AMAZING but it's a bit old and, the above noted issues....

We got this hotel because everything on the strip was sold out or way too high due to events in town. It's about a mile off the strip. The hotel is older and the neighborhood made me a little nervous. The one good thing was the free shuttle service to and from the strip. This hotel would definately be on the bottom of my list for a return visit.

I was not happy to know that I was stick near rooms that had dogs. The tub was scratched up and had alot of marks in it. The carpet was not clean. The carpet had dark stains all over the room.

The room was good, the place was good BUT the Wi-Fi sucks - I could not get online for more then a few seconds. I also had to change room due to some strange noise coming out of a pipe in the wall. Avoid room 114 at the end of the hallway on the 1st floor.

If you are not looking for a "resort" hotel, then I would consider the La Quinta Inn. My room was fairly priced, neat and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast covered the basics, and was a nice option to start the day. Overall, a modest hotel that I would safely recommend to those looking for such.

We needed a roll away bed which was brought to the room promptly,however, the bed left you feeling like you would have had a better rest sleeping on the floor. The mattress was poor at best and sagged in the center even with several pillows strategically placed beneath it. The entrance door accessing the hallway to our room two doors down had a sign saying it was locked 24 hrs a day, though at no time did we ever encounter that door locked which left us feeling vulnerable.

We stayed this past weekend and overall it was a good hotel. Free shuttle service and breakfast. I didnt really like the breakfast they offered. Not really what I expected. They said they had waffles and sausage. The waffles were make your own and there wasnt any sausage. It wasnt very roomy in the breakfast area either. The elevator was creepy and would shut on us as we walked in and took awhile to open. We used the shuttle service and the first night they told us it was 24 hour and to call anytime for a pickup. They picked us up and took up to Harrahs and when we were ready they picked us up right away. The next day we had to wait 30 mins for a pickup to go to the convention center and when we were ready they said it would be a hour for pickup but they took a hour and 45mins. I guess since it was free I cant really complain?

The Roll-a-way bed that was brought was very, very, painful and uncomfortale. there were two metal bars accross the bed that when one would sleep on the bed the metal bars would put painful pressure on the rib-cage and lower extremities. This really caused a lot of discomfort. other than that the hotel was fairly good.

Room was spacious and comfortable, nice Samsung Flat Screen TV. Pool and Spa area needed more maintenance as cement surfaces were crumbling and debris was transferred to the bottoms of your feet to the water in the pool and Spa. Complementary breakfast was mediocre with no variety of selection of items day to day

The hotel was not good. We stayed there for 5 nights and on the first night, they did not clean our room. There was also no lotion or many shampoos in the bathroom. The breakfast room was very bad. It would be full every day and there would be no place to eat! The hotel looks very old and was old!

Out of my entire road trip to california, this tied as the best motel we stayed in. It was clean, it was nice, it was spacious, and the accomodations were just right.

The hotel was close to the stripe and easy to find from the hotel. Customer Service over the phone was not very nice.

My friend and I found bed bugs and red spiders all over our pillows and under the sheets AFTER we woke up the following morning with multiple bites. I had 26 total bites and my friend had 38 bites all over our bodies. We complained and only got moved to a suite which we fully inspected before sleeping the 2nd night. They didn't even give us a free night or comp our stay. It is now day 3 leaving the hotel and my arms are swollen, hot to touch, and red...not to mention painful.

Clean Rooms, Clean Front Entrance Area and great staff and breakfast.

the air condition did not work.

The staff was outstanding at La Quinta. Pleasant and helpful. The room was neat and clean. One problem, however, the light fixture fell off in the bathroom while we were there (from above the sink). Also the hair dryer was about to fall off the wall. VEry shaky. But all in all it was a fine place to stay.

Hotel staff was very friendly, quick check in process, the hotel was very quiet. Only down side-bed wasn't very comfortable. I plan on staying here again.

The entire property needs to be upgraded. Looks old and uninviting.

All in all, a bargain stay in the Vegas area. Close to the convention center, and the hotel shuttle will get you to the strip and the airport. FREE Wifi, FREE breakfast, and FREE parking go a long way in this town. With clean rooms in good condition (although not excellent--there was a little wear and tear) I would totally stay here again. The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating--the one time I called the front desk and didn't get an answer, he rang me back three minutes later to ask if I needed anything. When the hotel shuttle had too long of a wait, they paid for a cab to the shuttle destinations. Awesome!

The hotel was located near our desitnation and the accomodations were great and the breakfast was excellant.

If you are desparate and need a clean hotel room this will get you buy but hotel itself is pretty run down and lots of unsavory characters around. Convenient location but didn't feel all that safe. Also difficult to get a cab.
