Older property could use a facelift. Excelent breakfast buffet with hot items too. Good location close to downtown and many restaurants within walking distance. Will stay again with our dog.

The beds were not very comfortable to us it was extremely firm, pillows had a very plastic and chemical smell to them. Room was nice and very large. Staff said we had to physically check out of room but when got to front desk said we could have left our key in the room which was a bit of a hassle.

Very dated...old thin mattress...filthy armchair from 70's...couldn't stay here...told front desk room was unacceptable. They asked if i wanted a different room. I asked "would it be anything better? ". Answer was no. Keep looking is my advice.

Loved the Hotel except for the water pressure and had a hard time getting cold water.

We booked this hotel after exhaustive research based on location, price and amenities. We also look carefully at the photo gallerys when making our decision and found the photos of the breakfast room and pool area weren't the greatest so almost didn't book it. We found the place just charming so don't know why they don't upgrade their website. A nice surprise was how fantastic the complimentary breakfast was - lots of choices and really good food. They served eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and waffles, patotoes with sauteed peppers, yogurt, cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, milk and juice, tortilla shells, salsa, cottage cheese, condiments and more. If you go hungry there, it's you own fault. We had a standard deluxe room and it had a second counter and sink outside the bathroom which we found super handy and the room was spacious. It's not a super fancy hotel and could use a little cosmetic maintenance but it's very close to downtown Campbell which has a lot of life with some very cool restaurants. It's also very accessible to Los Gatos ( a must visit) and many of the freeways. We would definately return.

We always stay at the Campbell Inn when we come to San Jose. It's comfortable and convenient and serves an extensive breakfast that can't be beat. It is walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the town and in Pruneyard. The walk/bike trail right next to the parking lot with a park across the street is such a bonus.

Stayed at the inn for 3 weeks we loved it pet great,breakfast great and staff wonderful!!!!

I lived in Campbell for quite awhile, so it was weird to stay here. I thought the rooms would be nicer than they were. It was very run down! I would stay across the street at the new hotel they just built. The breakfast buffet is the bomb though.

Great hotel, room is clean, good service and great breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

This hotel could be so much more than "3". The outside grounds are beautiful, nice swimming pool area, flowers, tennis court, next to jogging path. The breakfast is a "real" breakfast and very good. My only problem was the room was very dated and the sitting chair was dirty and the pillows were flat. All in all, I would go back because the price was what I would like to spend in the San Jose area which can get very pricey.

A very basic place to stay that is close to the heart of downtown Campbell. Like I said very basic.

Great neighborhood, but hotel is tired in every respect. Could be a gem if upgraded.

The Campbell Inn is located in the heart of Campbell and is next to the Pruneyard outdoor mall. The hotel is clean but the carpet, bedspreads and furnishings are in GREAT need of updating. I felt like they haven't changed things since the 1970s. But again, it is clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is free. So for the price and location, it is an okay deal.

Although convenient this hotel seems to attract individuals who like to argue and yell late at night outside their rooms - We stayed three nights are could not have being happier to leave. The one bright spot is the breakfast which was much better than the express food at other hotels although the down side outweighs this benefit. You definitely get what you pay for. Savign a little money was not worth the lost sleep.

If you don't want to be treated like a paying guest, this is the place to go. The general manager Naomi was one of the most unprofessional, rude people I have ever come into contact with. I witnessed her threatening and screaming at customers, and she removed personal belongings from my room and refused to rent to me after I confronted her on her rude behavior. As a general manager of a retail establishment myself, I was shocked at the way she treated her customers. Perhaps she is new to the company, as the front desk staff handled numerous unprofessional situations in a manner that was very professional and unlike their management example. There is a Marriott directly across the street with similar rates that has new beds, clean carpets, kitchenettes, refrigerators, and a professional demeanor. If you’re looking at this hotel for the location, I would absolutely stay at the Marriott over the Campbell Inn. Take this review for what it is, I hope for the sake of this hotel that has been a part of the city of Campbell for a long time, that the way I was treated was an isolated experience and that all guests are not treated this way. I was so upset with my stay that I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau about my service.

swimming pool is dirty with dirt, but fron desk said that is paint peel off, ok to use. I' don't think so. high way make very loud noise outside, but quite in room. clean room and good breakfirst, building have good looking.

everything was great except the closeness to the freeway. if a light sleeper ask for a room on the wing AWAY from the freeway..otherwise bring earplugs. very good breakfast as "free breakfast's" go

I loved our stay, it was quite and peaceful. The inn is close to a park, walking path, shopping, movie theater and several restaurants. I would definitely choose to stay again and recommend to others.

The only thing that could be improved would be to update the TV set. It was a older analog type and the color kept going in and out. Sometimes black & white somtimes color. The breakfat was great.

be careful bad lighting flooring is carpet over a slab of concrete, no padding you are right beside an overpass lots of shady people walking through the facility would not recommend this venue again very old bathroom fixtures; reminds you of an old Motel 6

Considering the area, this is a great deal. Comfortable room, nothing fancy, but great for the price. We stayed there four nights and enjoyed the full breakfast each morning. The customer service and front desk was excellent and accommodating. They even printed something for us in their back office when we couldn't access our email by their printers. The manager offered for us to send her the email and she would print it for us and she even printed an extra copy. It was a March stay so not sure who would use the pool, even though it was heated, but it was pretty dirty looking. The one complain is the noise early in the morning on our last night with people slamming doors and leaving for the day. Next time I would ask to stay further down away from the stairs and elevator, away from the pool. Overall, a great stay and would definitely come back.

First time we book here ... and were pleasantly pleased ... adjacent to downtown and the old city and plenty of contemporary stores in the other direction ... heated pool and hot tub ... we will return.

I stayed four nights by myself, while on business in San Jose. Hotel is clean. Staff very friendly. Room was ok, clean, but a little bit old. The WiFi worked well for e-mail and regular surfing. There were prostitutes at the hotel one night, talking on the hallways. Breakfast buffet is good. If you are on a budget, this might be your short-term hotel.

This hotel is slightly "rough around the edges", as it is an older place but it suited my needs. It has a nice pool and patio. The breakfast was very good as they offer much more than a continental breakfast. I always appreciate real glasses and mugs. There was a wide range of channels on the tv. Wireless was so simple to access. The beds were a little firm.

Great location as it's close to everything. Tempered by highway traffic noise. We asked for and received a "quiet" location room. Great staff and AWESOME breakfast! Best value in San Jose. Highly recommend and will use again.

This inn is a little on the "tired" side, but, for the money a good buy and good location.

Breakfast buffet had a good variety of foods. The room was clean and comfortable. Freeway noise was a little loud if you are a lite sleeper.

This is a repeat visit to the hotel, they allow pets at a very reasonable fee, the rooms are spacious, well appointed, clean. They serve a fabulous breakfast and are close to the Pruneyard shopping center with many dinner options. Only issue with this trip the facility only has one ice making machine, and it was broken, but the front desk had some for me.

Campbell Inn is conveniently located near the traditional pold city on one side and several very nice modern shopping centers on the other side. And the property is immediately adjacent to a populat trail for walking, jogging, biking.

The value the hotel offered included a full breakfast. The location was just super. A very short walk to old town Campbell with tons of stuff to do and a modern shopping center with tons of stuff to do.

Hotel was clean, but outdated. We had a king room and the bed was comfy. However, breakfast the next day was gross.Skip it and head downtown.

While the Campbell Inn is not sexy or modern or super fancy, it is clean, cheap, well-cared-for, cheap, well-staffed, and did I mention cheap? Unless you absolutely need a brand-new flatscreen TV in your room, this place has everything you'd get in a major midrange chain hotel at about half the price. I'll be coming back next time I'm in the area.

Dressers missing 3 handles, Bathroom would not lock or close completely.Beds are very hard and you can feel the support braces coming thru the mattress. Excellent location except you have to make a u turn every time down a side street to get to The PruneYard restaurants and stores. White socks were very dirty just walking on carpet. Old T.V.'s no HD QUALITY PICTURE.

This is a reasonably priced and conveniently located motel. It is located near Prune Yard shopping plaza as well as a nice little park, walking trail and local library. The rooms are clean and functional. A computer is provided in the lobby. Free shuttle is available to and from airport if requested. The hotel provides a fabulous free buffet breakfast every morning. There is a swimming pool and hot tub which need repairs and a coat of paint. The hot tub area was dark because the bulbs needed change. The elevator to the second level was not functioning. The staircases also need a fresh coat of paint. Overall this is an economical place to stay near the silicon valley.

I'm a regular client with no regrets.

Nice, comfortable, king sized bed. Room well kept up. Good under window air conditioner that kept us very comfortable.

Nice hotel in nice area just outside of San Jose, Was impressed with the room size, espically the bathroom area. Nice breaskfast spread and staff was very nice and helpful. Will stay here more often when traveling to San Jose.
