Days Inn Asheville West - كاندلر

My aunt passed away and I had to find a hotel that I could afford. I chose the Days Inn because I got it for a reasonable rate and it was only 25 miles from my family's house. The lady at the registration desk was very nice and helpful. When I got to the room I couldn't believe how nasty it was. The toilet had filthy rings in it, the sink looked as if someone had wiped at it and the carpet looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed in months. Thank God the sheets looked clean. We had a two night stay and no one ever came and cleaned our room or brought clean towels, wash clothes, or additional coffee. Honestly I would have been better off sleeping in my car.

We loved this motel. The room was brilliant as were all the staff who made our stay a memorable one. The breakfast was very good as was the evening supper available.. Very quiet location near the mountains. Could not possibly fault this motel in any way .Nice people, Nice place. We will stay there again when in the area for certain.

This is an old style motel. It was hard to find our room, it was on back side facing the highway. The room was clean and spacious. The placement of the lobby in a separate building down the hill was different and slightly inconvenient for morning coffee.

It's good enuf for a good price.

Misleading location. It was not "West Asheville" as advertised. It was in another town. The rooms are up on a hill and the office and breakfast room are down the hill. Very inconvenient for anyone with difficulty walking. It is not for the disabled. Friendly check-in. This is an old motel that needs a facelift. Very thin walls I could hear the next room easily. Rooms were equipped with iron & board, hair dryer, tv, microwave, fridge. Bed was good.

Great value with a decent breakfast - and a complementary supper of some really good chili!. Only complaint (typical of almost all hotels) is the walls are paper thin and I had a couple young construction workers next to me....

Only there for one night but the room was clean; some areas were looking a little bit worn but nothing major. The beds were comfortable, good tv channels and decent wifi signal. A Dollar General is at the bottom of the hill so that was handy. Breakfast was quite good and filling. I'd stay there again.

The front desk staff were kind and eager to be of assistance. The room was not well vacuumed and the last occupant smoked in the room despite it being non-smoking; but the front desk had lysol sent right over. Overall I would stay again as it was only a place to lay our heads at night but you do get what you pay for:)

the one bad thing was room was right smack dab across from ice machine :& was noisy all night long. Also really noisy people above us. I think we had room 216.

Tried to use the microwave in our room and it would only run for 15 secs before the circuit breaker would break the circuit. Bathroom floor need more cleaning.

A step up from a lot of Days Inns, this one is just off of I-40 on the way towards the Smokies from Asheville. If you're looking for a reasonable place to stay the night before heading towards Cherokee and the park (stuff gets more expensive as you head closer to Cherokee), this is a fine place.

Needed a room right right off interstate only to sleep and get back on the road early next morning...wouldn't want to spend much time there. Late evening check-in clerk wasn't too friendly...morning check-out lady was very nice. Breakfast was worse than expected-HOT coffee best thing on the menu. Reasonable rates???...we've stayed a lot of other places for the same price that were much nicer. This Days Inn has seen it's better days!!

The staff was extremely friendly! Great breakfast area & even a special complimentary supper the Friday night we arrived.

It was decent and suited for the purpose. Easy access to highway.

I was pleased with the room. It was clean and I was comfortable staying there. There was 4 adults that stayed. There was a good breakfast ready for us the next morning. It was a great bargin.

This hotel is right off the interstate and I had plenty of room for my truck & trailer. Staff was friendly. Would stay here again.

Both my husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. The price was very reasonable, and our room was nice and clean. There is a great view of the mountains, and was conveniently located. They also offered complimentary breakfast AND supper, which were very tasty.

Easy to get to right off of the interstate and close to a restaurant. Not far from Biltmore Estates and Asheville. Room was clean and the pillows and beds were very comfortable.

exceptionally nice staff- pleasant, helpful. Room clean. Quiet. Free breakfast AND dinner a plus.

Most of the staff was nice. One House keeper was very rude and a front desk clerk was a lil rude, but everyone else was very nice! The rooms are kind of old the spreads and carpet show their age. The pool was not clean @ all. I had to break my son's heart when he wanted to play in the pool. I couldn't let him get in it. The great breakfast they rave about wasn't all that great. The room was cleaned well and the view of the mountains was wonderful! It was not close to anything, but it was nice and quiet!

We really liked the cleanliness of the room and having available a blow dryer (since I forgot mine) and an iron. The breakfast was fantastic. Thank you!!

Slept well wasn't noisy.

Excellent hotel staff- went above and beyond to provide amazing service and assistance to my young son and I. Really appreciated the front desk personnel and breakfast staff who were wonderful to my 2 year old.

Clean, convenient, and a great price. We have stopped here twice when traveling through the area. When you need a cheap, clean room for a night and good breakfast, this is the place.

Free dinner was sweet. (and breakfast). Room clean and adequate and nice staff!

People talk late outside the rooms, smoking goes into the room, A/C is noisy in the room. uncomfortable to stay!

The only problems were with the key card system; only on the third set delivered to me was I able to get in and out of my room. Staff were very helpful, room was clean, food was good. I knew from other reviews that the water temperature would be unpredictable...it was. But for the price, it was a great place to stay overall.

Very clean, nice and quiet place. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Ms. Dona's breakfast and supper was great. Will definitely stay again.
