Very pleasant stay centrally in Paris. Great hotel 5 minutes walk from Champs Elysee. Hotel placed in quiet area. Had a surprisingly large junior suite for 2 adults + 2 teenagers. Excellent room and very nice bathroom. Housekeeping was superb. But, maybe most important; a very very service oriented, quick and english speeking staff who helped us with a smile !

I arrive after an all night flight from New Yrok to find the hotel was over booked and there was no room for me. The hotel did book me in another hotel, all the way across town, far from where i wanted to be. It was an inferior hotel. All this notwithstanding, I was charged the same rate at the inferior hotel.

We stayed here for a one night mini honeymoon the night we got married. My husband upgraded our room to a deluxe room after just choosing superior first... great idea! We had a little balcony, a huge comfy bed (very imp!), very large room, and a split of champagne & chocolates welcomed us. We agreed that the hotel's website doesn't do it justice!! The bar area was a beautiful room, service was very hospitable. They permitted a late check out of 1pm rather than 12. Everything was clean from what we saw. I would definitely stay here again, it was a great price, and the area surrounding- once you walk a couple of streets- was close to many desired locations! Check out Madeline 7 cafe, very classic and beautiful, and must stop by La duree...

Overall a great visit, Front desk and room service staff were incredibly professional and helpful. Be mindful....Concierge booked us on a Louvre tour with another group that had a specific itinerary in mind. We were NOT interested in what they wanted to see. Our kids wanted to see Egyptian artifacts in addition to...the tour guide had to be cajoled into giving a tour of that section. We weren’t interested in cajoling a tour guide. So..clarify with the concierge if you are being booked on a tour with another group and where that group intends to go..

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. There is a separate concierge desk so that you can get a taxi or reservations to the best places to eat. Housekeeping also cleaned our room twice a day! We will definitely stay here on our next trip.

Nice hotel in real nice neighborhoods, breakfast was very good. The maid gave us chocolate and clean towels every night :)

Although some parts of the hotel are a little 'tired', overall it is very comfortable. The front of house staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is situated in an excellent position within easy walking distance of the best shops and lovely areas to visit.

This is an excellent hotel and close to the Avenue des Champs-Elysees. The service was excellent and professional with a nice restaurant. Walking around the area is easy and safe. Room wss very clean and Parisian sized. We came in from an overnight flight from Chicago but had to wait to check in until early afternoon. We would stay there again in a heart beat.

Good location for seeing the sights and shopping. From our room on the fifth flor you could just barely se Montmartre. The hotel is located in a quiet area, close to shops and sights. You can walk from the Hotel, almost directly to the Elysee Palace. Then continue along Champs-Èlysèes to the triumphal arch. The Hotel serves a very good breakfast. It satisfies most tastes and preferences. The cleanliness of our room was imaculate. The consierge service though, overreaches at times (especially if there is a shortage of rental cars :-). All in all we had three good nights sleep at the hotel, and absolutely marvellous days in Paris.

This hotel represented excellent value. It had a delightful ambience, staff were friendly and helpful and my room, although not large, was perfect for my needs as a solo traveller on this occasion. With two, it could possibly be a fraction small, but nonetheless charming and inexpensive through Hotels.com. Breakfast was generous and catered for individual tastes well, housekeeping did an outstanding job and the hotel had a delightful feel to it. I would certainly return.

In general I do not stay at the same hotel twice, but this is my second time at the ASTOR, the staff and the general manager are great, they tried as much as they can to assist us and make our stay enjoyable.

We used this hotel for 4 nights in August 2011, and found that we had made an excellent choice. The suite was very comfortable, and the hotel staff and services were excellent. Breakfast in the dining room was a wide selection, and of good quality. The concereige staff were outstanding - nothing was a trouble for the, and they made a big diference to other hotels that we have used around the world. The hotel is well located to the sightseeing areas of Paris. We would definitely use this hotel again on our next trip to Paris. The only small criticism is the quality of the one room service meal that we had - which was below standard.

We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel for a family wedding, staff were really helpful,one chap went so far as to use his own car to give some guests a lift to the church,would highly reccomend to anyone looking for somewhere within walking distance of a lot of the attractions.

Located in quiet neighborhood near subway and cafes. Room was small even though we booked a "superior" room. Staff spoke English well and were very helpful with suggestions and directions to tourist destinations. Breakfast was $25, so we just ate in near by bistros. Location is a bit too far to walk to major sites, but subway was easily reached.

The hotel itself was quite nice. The rooms were attractive and comfortable. However, I'm not sure that I've stayed at any first class hotel with such disinterested service. I was of the impression that they were being put out by our presence and they certainly showed no interest in providing any help that wasn't explicitly asked for. I stayed the last two days of my trip at the Maurice and the difference in service couldn't have been more extreme. Even when we left the hotel, no one helped us with our bags. They almost seemed to try and be unhelpful.

Great hotel and just the right size. The staff bent over backwards to satisfy are every wish. Also the General Manager was very helpful in suggesting top restaurants in the area.

NICE HOTEL. I WAS IN A SUPERIOR ROOM AND WAS A LITTLE SMALL BUT NICE.

A well positioned Hotel close to the Champs Elysee. Nice sized rooms well decorated. Our first room was noisy, Staff could not have been more helpful and offered a choice of 2 rooms. Ended up with view of sacre couer. Brekfast was a bit hit and miss if you were towards the end of service, but choice was nice and there was plenty of it. We had a fabulous stay and would recommend the hotel.

Plus: Very convenient location, staff generally pleasant and helpful, though they seemed overworked and slow at times. Minus: Had to change room due to A/C malfunction. It seemed they knew of the problem but put us in the room anyway. Some blemishes in decor in rooms and bathrooms that needed fixing, also lots of dust in some areas. Front desk never answered when called and I had to go down whenever I wanted to speak with them. Maid took a bunch of coins left with other personal items on a desk, presumably she thought it was a tip. All "king size" beds we saw (3 different rooms) are actually two twin beds pushed together, annoying gap in the middle. Internet service is terrible in general and the wi-fi unit in one room was damaged.

Room was very comfortable with plenty of room by Paris standards. Hotel staff was very helpful. All spoke English quite well. Concierge provided very good restaurant suggestions and sightseeing help. Location is in a quiet location but within an easy walk of restaurants and shopping.

We were in Paris on vacation, the hotel was clean, luxurious, and located very central. The Concierge was very helpful.

The hotel was generally clean and the service with the exception of one breakfast was very good. The conceirge and desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. The corrider carpets could use replacing. I was a little disappointed in some of the small details of the room i.e., short in the hairdryer, drooping shower head that needed tightening, chain lock on door was broken. Hotel staff did knock on our door to ask about our satisfaction with the room, but my husband answered and did not share the above information. Overall I would recommend the hotel. Be prepared to walk about 10-12 blocks to get to the main highlights of the city.

This is a beautiful small hotel with elegant decor and tasteful finishes. Our room was small but lovely with a spotless modern bathroom. We could get anywhere via metro easily and found the conscierge extremely knowledgable and helpful. The Hotel D'Astorg will make your trip to Paris enjoyable and quite special.

We stayed at the hotel during the week of Christmas and EVERYONE was very helpful and very polite. Normally when we stay at hotels there maybe one or two people that you find to be helpful but anyone you spoke with here went out of their way to help you. I can't express how impressed I was with the hospitality of the hotel. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. You're also facing a quiet street so you don't have to worry about a lot of noise at night. Will stay here on our next trip to Paris.

I spent 6 days in Paris at Astor Saint Honore. The location was of walking distance from the major attractions such as the Louvre, Place du Madelaine, Galerie Lafayette, Petite Palais and Grand Palais and Avenue Sains Elisee. The Hotel was of a traditional style although I think it need some updating. The elevator only fit 2 to 3 people and was slow. The hotel seemmed a little short handed on employees. I always had to wait a little while to get information or needed roomservice. The bedroms size was OK although I had to have an upgrade bcause the standart room bed size was too small for two people ( double bed instead of queen size). The bathroom was a little small and the shower was not that good. I did not eat there so could not tell you about the food. I guess for a 4 star hotel it was good but not great.

Perfect location for short city break. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel décor is very elegant, will definitely be going back whenever in Paris.

Hotel Astor Saint Honore is well-located on a quiet street near the excellent shops on fashionable Rue du Faubourg Saint Honore. Not too far of a walk from the Place de la Concorde, the Louvre, and other key locations. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms were tiny but well-kept and nicely decorated; the bathroom was similarly small but clean. For the price, the hotel is a good value for Paris.

Fantastc hotel just a few steps from the Saint Augustin Metro station which was brilliant for sight seeing. We went to Paris for two days in August and did not realise that the hotel restaurant was not open during August as most of the Parisians take their holidays in August. Most of the neighbouring restaurants and shops were there also closed which was quite disappointing. But apart from that we had a lovely and romantic time in Paris.

Wonderful hotel! I highly recommend it. We especially loved the breakfast that was included in our price. Yum!

It cost too much for a small old room.

2 metros close by. St.Austine and Madeline. Not near anything. Breakfast not included and very expensive. A chicken sandwich cost 15Euros. Mainly office buildings for neighborhood. Safe to stay with family. Expensive.

I have no complaints. I was traveling with my mother (who just had knee replacement surgery) so we have very different needs. The hotel was perfect for the both of us. The bathroom offered a bath and shower with removable shower head. There was ample room around the sink/vanity and we never felt crowded in the bathroom. As expected in Paris, the bathroom had a wonderful magnification mirror (for those who like/need to groom their eyebrows). The room was equally impressive. The safe was easy to operate, although we could have used a man to figure out that darn remote control (a disadvantage to never having control of the remote at home, I guess). Lots of electrical outlets to charge the camera, iphone, and laptop. (Don't forget your converters and surge protectors from AAA). We vacationed in four European cities and this was my Mom's favorite bed and pillows. I liked the firmer beds in Rome (which reminded my mom of the prison beds at the Doge's Palace). If you like soft beds and cushy pillows, you will like the Astor Saint Honore. As to the location, there are great (!!!) Parisian pastries in proximity to the hotel. The first morning we made the mistake of eating a 35euro breakfast near Notre Dame. Thereafter, we enjoyed 10euro breakfasts with the best pastries and coffee you could ask for at the local establishments (even open early on Saturday mornings!). When in Paris, do as the Parisians do. We never ate at the hotel, although the tables always looked full of tourists. Not only would I recommend this hotel, I will stay there again next year. The service is great and the lobby and style elegant. The room was less satisfactory for the price. We booked a suite which we found very tired and dated in terms of finishes. The size was nice, for Paris, but there was not furniture at a standard usually associated with a suite, just two wood chairs and a small table. The bathroom was OK but nothing special as well.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was extremely attentive, but our room didn't have air conditioning, so I would never recommend this hotel for a summer stay. The restaurant was very expensive, so be sure to hit a patisserie unless you want to pay 25 euros per person for breakfast. The concierge was very helpful when it came to finding quality restaurants close by.

With my mother and 2 daughters (8 & 10) we stayed in a Junior suite for half term to visit the main sites of Paris. We found the position perfect - lovely walks to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre - and the hotel suited our purposes perfectly. It worked very well for a day trip to Eurodisney as we were a 5 min walk from direct RER train station (Auber). The staff were very helpful and polite and the room clean and comfortable. For a junior suite it was not huge - but really high ceilings and full height windows made it feel spacious enough. We did not sample the breakfast or restaurant but found plenty of lovely cafes in the area instead.

Det var jeg og min datter på 10 år som var på bursdagtur. Jeg er reisevant og synes rommene var veldig små selv om vi hade Superior dbl room med King size bed. Det var hyggelig betjening, rolig og koselig atmosfære, ikke stivt eller overlegent. God og riklig frokost. Vi fikk noen restaurant anbefalinger av hotellet som ikke var bra. Bommet helt på hva vi spurte etter og satte en liten demper på oppholdet. Ellers så var beliggenheten for oss som var ved store turistattraksjoner litt avsides, det ble litt lange strekk for små ben og dermed mye taxi...
