Cant go wrong with the location....

the staff was really accomidating

needs updating and room repairs. Poor customer service. This was our 3rd stay there and will be our last. It is not worth the price. The only attractive part of the hotel is the lobby.

Located close to a stretch of big malls all within walking distance along a pedestrian walklane, as well as only a relatively short drive from the airport, we found it very convinient to stay here. Also, the central location in makati-district makes you feel safe and we did not experience any harassments at all (we've had other experiences in other parts of manilla before). Service was great, the room was comfortable and well designed in a robust kind of way. The bed was really, really cosy. Only drawbacks was that there was no free wifi or internet connection (gives a little cheap impression, hotel management take note!) and that the bathtub was to small to use if you are a standard sized scandinavian (like me ;) . Otherwise we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay in contrast to other places in the country/city, where living almost always had its little flaws (electricity, toilet, water, etc)...

My stay in New World have always been satisfactory. It is convinient to all restaurants, movies and shopping. The services are always excellent! Whenever I'm in Manila I will always stay at this hotel. No fear of being mug, or be rip-off by taxi driver, no fear of being in the wrong place, I can walk feeling safe at anytime.

Great hotel! My bathroom was a bit outdated with a very low shower head, but other than that, perfect. Wonderful service!!

Very nice, up-scale hotel with pricing less than the 5 start hotels in the area. I have stayed at all 4 and 5 stars in the area and this to me is the best buy for the money spent. Across the street from the Greenbelt shopping center which has loads of stores and restaurants.

The hotel is located right next to the Greenbelt shopping complex (which is connected to Landmark, Glorietta and SM malls) so it is in the middle of shopping paradise. Security is top notch and service was impeccable. The only negative we experienced was with the taxi set up. If you use a taxi that has a relationship with the hotel it is significanlty more expensive that flagging one down on your own outside of hotel grounds.

My family and I traveled to Manila for some much needed R&R. It was a great experience to stay at this hotel as the location was excellent and the staff were very nice and attentive. The breakfast buffet was awesome and the best we had in Manila!We will definitely come back to this hotel once we go back to Manila in the near future.

Exceptional service and extremely friendly atmosphere

Most recommendable hotel in Makati. Morning Buffet is so wonderful.

Good hotel for the value. Excellent location - comfortable rooms, clean. Would go again.

The hotel has come in the years and maintainance is clearly not a priotity. No wireless available except in very limited areas against enormous charges. Charges are really the strong side of the hotel. A shuttle to the airport cost 1800 PESO agaist+- 300 peso in a metered taxi. Breakfast is also highly overpriced. Location though is a real plus. I am not sure when they received the 4stars but this is clearly not more than a 3 star hotel with bad service and high costs. I wouldn't stay there again.

I chose the New World because it's directly across the street from Greenbelt, with it's restaurants, shops, and movie theaters. I rented a car at the airport, and overnight valet parking at the hotel was incredibly cheap--big bonus. The buffet breakfast is a bit too pricey (though one of the largest I've seen). And it's a shame they don't have free highspeed internet. You have a choice between paying for a 24-hour period or by the hour. The New World isn't quite 5-star, but the hotel staff is very attentive and the location (if you want to be in Makati) is the best in my opinion (and I lived there for 4 years).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at New World Hotel. Exemplary hotel staff from the time we checked in till check out; excellent service throughout our stay. And icing on the cake, hotel is just across the street from Galleria shops, Glorietta, Landmark & Shoemart, which is very convenient for visitors like us. However, one drawback. Wifi connection is expensive; should be provided for free since this is a 4-star hotel.

I nust say this hotel was surtenly valuefor money. The staff was excellent and the stay was pleasent. A little minor point was that the vieuw of the TV was not perfect. The breakfast was also excellent and great of choice. I will be back when i am in Manilla agian.

my check-in and and experience with a worm in my dinner plate food were the only exceptions to a truly great stay at the new world hotel in makati, manila. had it not been for those two incidents i would have rated this as a remarkable stay. the staff was truly outstanding...it felt as if the greetings and interaction of staff and guests was a heartfelt sincerity. i was very impressed. the staff tried diligently to appease me for the poor dining experience. i would suggest that the courtesy appeasement be based on the incident. a worm in my food should not have brought forth an offer of a complimentary meal. that was the least of my desires at the moment. however the genuine concern and continued effort to find something that would "make up" for the incident i found to be really refreshing. all considered i would recommend the new world hotel to any of my friends as a place to stay. i thank the entire staff at the hotel for their effort sincerely bernhard g thompson

I have stayed at the New World Hotel before and several others in the area. However, I keep coming back to the New World because of it's great staff, good service, excellent value and convenient location across the street from Greenbelt 3. The Greenbelt shopping area has many excellent restaurants to choose from, great shopping, cinemas and nightlife. Glorietta Shopping Center along with Landmark, SM and Rustans are also just a few minutes walk away. The hotel exterior and interior is getting a bit "tired" but the new management team is planning to upgrade the rooms next year from what I was told. The only negative comment I would have is the cost of the internet, I don't mind paying a small fee, but I thought the cost was quite high along with the cost for laundry service. On balance, I would stay here again without hesitation and would recommend to my friends.

Overall very nice hotel. About 25 minutes from Manila airport. Makati city is wonderful town to explore and experience. Hotel is right across the street from green built shopping mall. Nice to look there but hard to afford anything. Anyway, nice hotel and wish we had more time to explore the area next time I guess

Very nice hotel close to Greenbelt. The rooms are clean and nice view of Makati skyline from the window. Staff are nice and friendly. Pricey internet access $15/ day and you have to go to the lobby. To use the phone, $2/ minute just to call a cell phone number from the room. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

In less than 24 hours my fiance and I agreed that we would definitely stay there again. There's really no reason to stay anywhere else, they have it all. It's perfect for couples or families. The only stink I had with the hotel, was the food. Extremely expensive. Greenbelt is within 100 feet of the hotel entrance but considerably expensive compared to others you can find. My only wish was we had a few more days to stay.

This hotel is very convenient to access the greenbelt shopping areas specially during the moonsoon season.

in Makati was a completely enjoyable experience from the moment I checked until I checked out 4 days later. The service was, in a word, superb. the staff responded instantly to every request and followed up to ensure that the service was satisfactory. although the hotel is a bit dated and there were no king size beds available, the level of service kind of made up for it. I look forward to staying there wherever I am in Manila. It is an excellent value for the price.

Great hotel for the money. You can stay more expensive and nicer places but this place is great. The location, service, and overall experiance is great. I stayed here in the past. A very safe and secure location. The staff is very accomidating.

my wife and i stayed at new world hotel for 3d2n. the location was perfect since greenbelt 3 (shopping mall) is right infront of the hotel. we were also given a room where we could see the whole makati shopping area and makati business district. the price is good enough for this hotel. the room is clean. there are 2 free bottles of mineral water per day. all the staff of the hotel including the security guards outside the hotel are very polite. every personnel greeted us with a smile. we felt secured, since every person who enters the hotel gets checked. we didn't dine in the restaurants since it's pricey and because there's a lot of choices right outside at greenbelt. there is also a church inside the greenbelt establishement that we were able to hear mass before we checked out. our overall experience was superb. we high;y recommend this hotel for those people who wants great customer service and who is looking for a place to stay in makati area.

Excellent location for businessmen. Quick check in and check out services if one could occupy the Club Floor Level. Unlimited internet access, fruits and beverages on the Club Lounge, wherein you can bring in any friends or business associates.

Having no idea where to stay in The Philippines i was a bit hesitant as to where to book. The reviews on hotel.com and the price brought this hotel to the top of the pile. was a let down? NO WAY.. this hotel is second to none. Its location is amazing, within walking distance of amazing shopping, Food, entertainment and anything else you could wish for . The staff will bend over backwards to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. I was even invited to a cocktail party hosted by the hotels GM and i can say i was made to feel at home from the second i walked in. The facility's are amazing, Pool. gym, even a medical center. Hotel is secure and the staff ensure typical phillipine tricks are not used against its clienst (such as the old forget to turn meter on in taxi trick) the only thing i was let down by was the fact there was no local information or room service menus in room. The hotel has room service yet it does not advertise it or even have a menu. The in house restaraunts are amazing. Jasmine and Boccarinos are highlights for me. M2M has an amazing breakfast buffet which has to be seen to be believed. Try and get this included when you check in if you can. I say if you are going to stay in Makati or Manila then you need look no further, this is the ONLY hotel choice you have.

Price is right and the location is ideal for shopping. I recommend this hotel for all those who may wonder about the safety of getting around Makati.

The Renaisance is a great hotel Excellent rooms and service, superb location just across th road from Greenbelt shopping mall and restaurnts and then connecting to Landmark and glorietta mall. Excellent swimming pool. Just a super hotel in a super location. In house food and drink abit pricey but then you expect that with a five star hotel, but so many fantastic restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes wak in greenbelt and glorietta. Probably the best location in Manila. Well worth the price, I would always go back there.

部屋のエアコンを切っても部屋の外から冷気が入ってくる。 エアコン効かせすぎかなあと思いました。 ただし、スタッフは丁寧に笑顔で対応してくれるいいホテルだなあと思います。 また、ハウスキーパーも電話するとすぐに対応してくれるので、いい意味でフィリピンらしくないです。 いまやWifiは当たり前の時代ですが、ここは有線が有料でしかも高い。これが難点ですね。

２０１１年１０月上旬にニューワールドマカティーシティーに滞在しました。 今回で５回目くらいの滞在でしたが、グリーンベルトが目の前にあり立地的にはやはり結構よろしいと思いましたが、エルミタ地区の同等クラスのホテルの立地と比べるとコンビニが近くに無いのがやや残念であった点と、夜ホテルの１階のレストランでサンドイッチを一人で注文して食べましたが、量が驚くほど多く（フレンチフライも付いてきた）食べきれず残してしまったのがもったいなかったです。 ・・・ただホテルの全体的な質に関しては満足のいく内容だったので（ハード的な部分も含め）、今後もマカティーに滞在の際はまた利用したいと思いました。

무엇보다 필리핀의 부유촌에 위치한 호텔이어서 그런지 안전했고, 호텔직원들 뿐만 아니라 경찰들 역시 친절해서 좋았습니다. 호텔 바로 앞에 그린벨트3이 위치하여있어 쇼핑하기도 편리하였습니다. 많은 분들이 조식부페에 대한 후기를 올리지 않으셨던데 조식부페는 최고라고 말하고 싶을만큼 정말 맛있었습니다. 오믈렛이나 핫케이크 등으로 매일 다른 메인요리 1개를 맛볼수 있었습니다. 그러나 커피 농도는 진한듯 했구요. 필리핀이 치안이 안전하지 못해 호텔앞에서 호텔에 들어가기전 가방검사를 하게 되는데요. 이때 필리핀 따갈로그어로 "살라맛뽀(감사합니다)" 인사하는것은 어떤가요? 웃으면서 직원들이 반겨주는 모습이 기분이 좋았습니다. 수영장도 수심이 깊긴 하였지만 깨끗하고 수영하기 참 좋았습니다. 전기도 220V과 110V 둘다 사용 가능하고요 다만 몇몇 콘센트는 접촉불량인지 전기가 잘 안되더라구요. 이점은 수리하셔야 될거같습니다. 그리고 샤워기 수압이 너무쎄서 샤워하기가 조금 불편합니다. 이점 빼고는 너무 만족한 호텔서비스와 객실이였고 다음에 필리핀을 간다면 뉴월드 호텔에서 다시 숙박하고 싶습니다.

スタッフや部屋はきれいで良かったが、ベッドと部屋が今まで泊ったホテルより狭かった。ﾛｹｰｼｮﾝは利便性も良かった。
