Spent two vacation nights at the Metropolitan. Service is exceptional. Location is super convenient to the Market, shopping, dining and it is a short light rail trip to the stadium. The room is fairly typical boutique hotel; relatively small but nicely appointed. Our room on the 10th floor was quiet and comfortable.

We stayed here one night prior to our cruise. Th hotel is very convenient fand within walking distance from the canada line skytrain from the airport. We walked down to the harbour and then to Stanley Park. We ould highly recommend it for a stay.

The room was beautifully laid out and decorated. It was in the midst of downtown, but, it felt like an oasis. The staff was very helpful to any questions I had.

This high class hotel provided a luxurious room with complimentary wi-fi and consistent golden star customer service. Beds very comfortable and bathroom spacious. It is located in downtown Vancouver & very close to the Pacific Centre and sky train. Great value.

We stayed at this hotel for one week and have enjoyed every minute of it from the time we arrived until we leave. I would classify it as a centrally located boutique accommodation close to restaurants, entertainment, shopping, tourist attractions and most important buses and Skytrain stations. All are within walking distances. The Granville station and the City Centre station are just 5 minutes away at a quick pace. Bell boys were friendly, helpful but not intrusive when we arrived. Reception was fast and we loved the large bowl of cherries to welcome us in the room. Housekeeping was very responsive; we requested an electric jug which was delivered within 10 minutes. The concierge was very patient and helpful with our enquiries. The most impressive of all were the front desk staff; they were friendly, courteous and helpful, remembering our names all the time. Nothing was too much trouble, going out of their way to assist. My son managed to book into this same hotel for 2 nights and when they found that it was for his wedding, upgraded his room to a suite. They even helped him booked a last minute holiday package to Las Vegas for his honeymoon on their system, which was better value than what he could get with travel agents outside. In particular we appreciated the extraordinary help and prompt services given by Kelvin & Natasha, very professional, efficient and yet friendly – truly top notch. The bathroom has been refurbished and quite large with separate bath tub and shower recess. The wash basin has plenty of bench space. The room size is alright for two but not as large as one would expect in North America. You can hear a bit of street noise in the morning but it did not bother us. The only drawback we experienced was the smell of tobacco smoke inside the room entrance. When we told the front desk, they immediately offered to swap our room but we did not take up as we’re quite settled in by then. There are two PCs in the business centre for guest to use free of

This hotel is approx 200m from the canada line mass transit making journeys to and from the airport very quick with a time of 20mins which will beat any taxi great location for shops , restaurants and for walks in all directions diva restaurant whilst serving very good food may appear a bit limiting to some people

This is a very nice hotel in downtown Vancouver in walking distance from Canada Place.

Well situated near Robson and Granville. Management was very friendly and helpful to get the heat turned on. Generally clean.Spacious bathroom; some mildew in shower stall. Mattresses should be replaced. we were uncomfortable. Pillows were overly large and firm. Had to request extra blanket. We had narrow twin beds, We do not plan to return.

very small but first class hotel. close to a nice long walk along the water and then come down robson street for lots of great food shops and entertainment ....

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Accomodations were supurb.

Great boutique hotel, friendly and helpful hotel staff. Our room was small,but had a fantastic (and big) bathroom. Very clean, and lots of place to put your things - well organized, small storage spaces. Good location - right in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

Very hospitable and welcoming...Molten brown wash products. View is not great only of another apartment block. The service, however more than makes up for and it is right in the middle of everything and I got on special offer.

The Metropolitan Hotel in Vancouver is a very comfortable, central hotel with helpful, receptive staff. My room was not ready when I arrived - I was early - but reception offered to ring me the moment it was ready in case I required it ahead of normal booking-in time. The room & hotel was clean and appealing with Molton Brown products in the bathrooms.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very good location to transit and things to walk to

Great location, clean and friendly staff!

Although my experience with the staff and service at the hotel was amazing for the most part... upon returning home and emptying my bag, I noticed that nearly $200 of my possessions were missing. Although I do not know for sure whether or not it was stolen by a staff member... but the only time I was parted from my bag was while I left it with the hotel bag people while I was out shopping. I think that it is very likely someone with access to the room where the bags are kept went through my bag. After consideration, my boyfriend remembered that he had noticed the bag was open upon their returning it to us. He thought nothing of it at the time of course. Otherwise... the hotel was very clean, and very nice. Our bed was comfy and the blankets were very warm. I would come back, although perhaps next time I will be a bit more careful with my valuables.

We only spent one night at the hotel (after a cruise), but wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful hotel, great location (1 block away from public transportation), helpful staff, free wifi. Wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel and Vancouver.

A really great hotel. Stayed here for 15 days in all and was not disappointed. Clearly a cut above the big names with a really different feel but good sized well decorated and clean rooms with a very helpful staff. Oh, and the pool (clean if a little short) and hot tub (which was actually hot!)were good too.

What a pleasant surprise. Comfortable, clean and very pleasing with first classservice!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. Excellent staff, well maintained property and a surprisingly good restaurant...and all in a central location.

This hotel is right in the middle of the action in Vancouver. It is close to shopping, art, transit, restaurants, and outdoor activities. The rooms are well kept, spacious, and comfortable. The exercise facilities seem very nice, though we didn't use them. Business centre offers complimentary printing which came in handy. Our only complaint was that we had a room with an adjoining door, and our neighbors had a very loud child who screamed all day and night... because of the adjoining doors, even when closed, the sounds were disturbingly loud in our room. But, the hotel was full so moving wasn't possible.

The location was superb! The room was quiet and very clean. All in all, a fabulous hotel ...

The interior of the hotel itself is nice and the staff was friendly. Oddly enough I was a little disappointed with the laundry service (clothes didn't come back quite as clean as I would have liked). The TV wasn't quite the viewing experience I would have liked either (small and shoved in a corner). Also, if you're not up for 5-star french cuisine, good luck finding something to eat around the hotel. It's more of a pain than you think.

We loved our stay at the Metropolitan. The staff was very helpful in arranging tours and giving recommendations for dinner. Loved the smaller hotel in a big city which resulted in wonderful attention to each guest. Thank you for a great time and rest at the Metropolitan - loved the comfortable bed, the large windows for a view and the spacious bathroom...

We arrived at Metropolitan from YVR on Skytrain to Vancouver Center. Hotel is right across the street and could not be more convenient. We also found Gastown a short 5 minute walk to see the historic area of Vancouver. The room was clean, spacious, and modern. Great choice for downtown location.

Could not recommend this hotel more highly, luxurious but not pretentious. The only negative was breakfast, much better breakfasts and better value to be had elsewhere.

This is a great hotel. Our room was wonderful with a view out to Robson (definitely stay in the back rooms facing Stanley Park). They are much brighter and quieter than the street facing rooms. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. You are close to everything. We even walked up Burrard and crossed the bridge. We will definitely stay here again.

The Metropolitan Hotel was the right place for me. Great location, close to transportation, close to great resturants, close to art museum, close to shopping areas. Oliver, the hotel concierge, was super. He was able to arrange tickets for everything that I wanted to do. Great stay in Vancouver. I will be back next year for the Festival of Lights.

Great location, this hotel is within walking distance of virtually everything, water taxis, shopping, restaurants, gas town etc etc. the staff are friendly and very helpful. We were originally uncertain about booking in the downtown area, but we were pleasantly surprised, as they say location, location, location, together with its value and quality----we will be back

What a great hotel, great location, awesome service, extremely nice high tech, tidy rooms. What can I say? That's what two hundred dollars a night gives you. The location is great! Don't ever take your car out of the parking lot. Beware though, when booking online usually parking is not included and since it's downtown Vancouver it's rather expensive. $40 for 24 hours parking, valet parking included. Other than that... WOW!

Wonderful place--terrific, attentive staff. Be sure to try the Croissant French Toast! Worth every penny.

Great location in downtown, very clean, good service, abundance of fabulous restaurants nearby, even a squash court.

Hotel exterior looking verybdated, as are the communal areas. No casual dining options in the restaurant. There are better hotels which are less expensive downtown.

The hotel is very confortable and well located. The only remark concerns the high price of the breakfast compared to the quality. I definitively recommand this nice hotel

Metropoiltan Hotel in Vancouver was wonderful. The location was perfect, right across from the Skytrain, across from Pacific Centre and the high street was a short walk away. The staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and kept very well. The free wifi was a great bonus for the premium price you pay to stay at this hotel. Highly recommended.

We only stayed one night but found the hotel awesome. Very clean, comfortable and ALL staff were amazing!!

This lovely hotel and their charming staff made our one night stay feel like a week! From the beautiful lobby to our huge marble bathroom, the decor is very pleasing to my somewhat overly critical eye. We had a little balcony in our room and it was nice to step out into the fresh air. The location is central to shopping, restaurants and skytrain. But, their restaurant Diva is so scrumptious that one does not need to go anywhere else to eat. We live in Vancouver, but go here for a special getaway!
