Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver - فانكوفر

The hotel was very comfortable, only problem was not having the Hotels.com reservation in their system when I checked in at 4:00 pm.

I am not one to write reviews, but given the service I received at the Metropolitan, I felt it was deserved here. I moved to the Metropolitan after a week of work at another high-end hotel, but the service I received at the Metropolitan surpassed the first place by far. The check-in personnel were attentive and friendly, each time I left or returned I was greeted warmly, and the night person happily let me into the garage when I returned in the wee hours with my zip car. I also accidentally left my ties in a drawer when I checked out, but the hotel quickly located them and mailed them to me, very carefully wrapped. I highly recommend this hotel if you find yourself in Vancouver - a hidden gem.

Stayed at this hotel with my wife for the Canucks playoff game one. Booked fairly last minute but staff were VERY accommodating with our request for nicer TV to review postgame. An upgrade to one bdrm suite - recently renovated - very nice and on the upper floor for quiet. Staff very friendly but not pushy or in the way. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Spent the weekend, check in & out service was top notch. Restaraunt and room service were too expensive, left the hotel for all meals and drinks. Excellent location - a lot of shopping and places to eat and drink. Would recommend this hotel.

Within walking distance to Vancouver Convention Centre and the waterfront. Great restaurants as well as familiar fast food places are very close. Don't forget to try Moose's Australian Pub just around two corners and down a flight. Shephard's pie and meatloaf to die for. REAL atmosphere with reasonable prices. ALSO three or four blocks to quaint shops and shopping. Always taxis outside the front doors.

Single beds were small but overall good Hotel

I recommend this property for a comfortable business hotel or weekend visit to Vancouver.

Staff went above the call of duty to make our stay extremely comfortable. It was mine and my wife's birthday weekend and The Metropolitan was fantastic. They surprised us with a bottle of champaign and even upgraded our room! If you want friendly people that are willing to help you in any way possible, stay at the Metro. If you want a really central hotel in downtown Vancouver, stay at the Metro. Finally, if you want a nice room and a good rate, stay at the Metro. You won't be disappointed!!

We had a great experience. The staff was helpful and the location was easily accessible for both business and pleasure.

I never knew the Metropolitan Hotel was there until we found it on Hotels. com. The service was top class and the room very nicely appointed. We loved the atrium roof over the pool and hot tub.

We had an awesome time in Vancouver. The location and comfort of this hotel made our stay even better! Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The Metropolitan Hotel is THE place to stay in Vancouver, their restaurant is THE place to eat. Most enjoyable

I recently stayed in Metropolitan Hotel for two nights, one week apart while passing through Vancouver. The high customer service ratings on the web are correct. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. I would especially like to thank the lady at the concierge desk for going out of her way to help me book concert tickets. The location is excellent in the downtown area and close to a railway station for transportation to the airport. Room was nice and comfortable. One piece of advice though, tall persons should watch out for their head in the shower.

The Metropolitan is a great hotel in a terrific location. The front desk staff were more than helpful and pleasant. Will definitely go back.

Wireless is not strong enough to use in the room but pretty good in the lobby

great service in this stylish boutique hotel right in the heart of the action. wonderful pool and hot tub with glass window wall overlooking the city. only concern was the expensive parking.

Terrific, spacious rooms, very welcoming

The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff were very helpful (valet parking, front desk, and bar staff), and we were able to keep our pet in our room for a small extra charge ($30 canadian). I was extremely pleased with the experience. Try the truffle oil/parmesean popcorn in the bar :)

Very pleased with our room. Service exceptional. All the staff were most welcoming and pleasant. Appreciated the full-size bath and separate shower. Enjoyed a walk past the Pacific Centre and high-end shops on Robson St to a wonderful "high-end casual" restaurant recommended by a very pleasant and knowledgable concierge (thank you, Nathalie!). Most comfortable beds of our trip! Location was perfect for our first time in Vancouver. All the amenities, except microwave. Room service breakfast so-so, but that could be because the restaurant was closed for annual upgrade (we were there Jan 1-3). Overall, we had a most pleasant place to stay in a fabulous location. Definitely recommend the Met!!

I really liked this hotel very much. The room was beautiful with a large bathroom and a large terrace. The staff was very helpful. We were there on New Years day, when much of downtown Vancouver is closed. The staff had prepared a list of the open restaurants in the area that we could go to. The location was within walking distance of all the downtown areas. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Vancouver.

Rooms are "average"- TV's are old school. Room that was billed as "luxury" wasn't any different than a "Quality Inn". Which is FINE if you're paying Quality Inn prices. I did not! Staff is nice!

The Met is a no nonsense hotel that is great for business travel. Free wi-fi, good work-out facilities and affordable rates make this my go to stop for my frequent trips to Vancouver. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms updated. The concierge is trustworthy, as I left my macbook in my room and called from the airport. It was delivered via Fed-Ex the next am. The hawksworth restaurant at the Georgia Hotel next door is great for a meal and cocktail if you have time. The bartenders are fantastic. The conference center and pacific place are very close and the running paths are within walking (running) distance.

I checked in very late and was exhausted. The last thing I wanted to encounter was a rude woman at the Front Desk. She has the warmth of an icicle. Even when I called the operator to ask a simple question I was given attitude/condescention on the phone. BUT, the gentleman that assisted me to my room was extremely pleasant. He made sure I got the kind of pillows that I preferred, had the amount of keys I needed, and there was nothing elses he could help with to make my night there better.

Access could be improved by: Roll in shower Lower towel rack Lower thermostat Lower "peep" hole in entrance door

Close to all downtown amenities and must sees. Hotel employees are very friendly and accommodating. Parking is expensive.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lobby was decorated for Christmas, nice. Televisions need an upgrade as well as program choices. Workout area is decent and steamroom is great.

Very well located and excellent value for money

i was pleasantly surprised at how much i enjoyed my stay at the Met. The room was small and cozy, with contemporary decor. The bathroom was well stocked with amenities. The robe was very luxurious and a nice touch. I usually bring my own conditioner from home as the hotel supplies are typically substandard. I did find however, that the quality of their washroom amenities was higher than usual. The parking was a bit expensive even for a downtown hotel. would however recommend this hotel.

Great hotell, great staff, great breakfast. All over a great experience. Try it, it's well worth it.

Traditional hotel quality, clean and nice bed. Don't like bathrooms where I can see myself on toilet in mirror. This one had even side view. Shower was good and clean

Everything was awesome... Except when they rang the doorbell and than opened the door when we were sleeping to see if everything was ok.. we were having a nap around 3:30 in the afternoon..
