Hotel was ok for a night but disappointed in the lack of free wifi

The room was smelling cigarette although it is a smoking free hotel

Tub was in bad condition. Water did not flow through and that was disgusting. I noticed that, when I book with Expedia or any agency, I got a room far away the elevators...

Have used this hotel before, as far as location goes it is great, no transfers, straight of the aircraft and into the hotel. In general the hotel looks tired and in desperate need of renovation. The room was good but overlooked the multi story carpark but the window was filthy, it was hard to see the carpark. Didn't use restuarant or bar this time.

We stayed at this hotel in 2008 and the pool area was under construction, it still is. Nothing has been updated since then. Staff was friendly but the concierge' had nothing to offer except the same tour we took in 2008. If you are staying overnight and leaving the next day this location is really convenient. If you have a delay and you will be there a few days either rent a car or be prepared to pay $$$s for a cab to get out of the airport. You cannot walk anywhere outside of the airport. We had one day to entertain ourselves before leaving for Aruba and we had counted on the pool. Would only stay here if I was getting in late and leaving early the next day.

Room was tiny as was the bathroom. Very convenient for an early flight but no other reason to stay here. It had that feel of weary travelers. Amenities were fine.

Good and serve the purpose!

the reason to stay at this hotel is for CONVENIENCE re early morning and/or late night flights. That's about it, though! It's fine, just quite overpriced for what you get.

It is so easy not to have to fight shuttles and luggage for an international flight with an early a.m. departure. I have not tried the restaurant or bar but rooms are fine. Easy access to departure gates D and E

This hotel is overdone... burnt out actually... We stayed here only to make our early departure easier. The location is great for the early flights... the 6am security alarm evacuating the building however caused chaos. Stay at a full service hotel just off the airport property and you will get better service for your money. I don't know how it got a 3.6 from everyone else a 1.6 is more accurate

Only thing good about this hotel is the location. Bathroom was dirty, Air duct in front of the window, Hotel needs a major update.

A lousy experience. We wanted to have an early check-in and the staff was so impatient and impolite. Of course, we would understand the rule, but the most important is the attitude. So I won't have another stay overnight there.

The overall stay was acceptable, the only bad comments I have is that the staff at the reception desk should have been honest with me. I know the room is free at 3:00 PM but we arrive early in the morning because the cruise ship was in almost 2:30 hours ahead of schedule. When I arrive I was not asking for a room but just a place to drop the suitcase. I was informed you had no place but the gentlemen told me to come back at around 10:30 AM anf our room might be ready. Of course when I came back the gentlemen was not there and i had to start again, this time the lady told me to come back in an hour which I did, however they kept telling me to come back every hour and i finally receive my room key at 2:45 PM. i would have rather theywould have been honest nd told me to come back at 3:00 PM this way I could have checked my suitcase at the airport and shop freely. The bed was nice and the room was clean

The convenience, the ease of check-in and check-out, the time saved all of which makes this a good choice for a traveler arriving late or leaving early.

The only good thing about this hotel is location. It is good for people who have early morning flights, since it is in the airport.

The hotel seems tired and needs an update. As it is in a prime location this was disappointing. The elevators were slow. The staff were helpful.

Overall this property is BEST for convenience. This is the best possible hotel for a passenger traveling on an early morning flight. You can place no price for this level of convenience. But, shocked and in the midst of the airport undergoing major renovation the hotel has to be next in order for this hotel to compete among other airport hotels. The hotel overall needs an upgrade of rooms and overall appearance. Shocked to see the conditions of the rooms.

The room was small, the view was the back of the roof.

Overall, it was fine. I had a great night sleep. The waiter in the dining room w great.i will stay there again since it is very conveniently located.

It was nice to be in the airport but my family and I were not issued braekfast vouchers. the front desk was responsibile for letting us know.

Excellent location within the airport, very quiet, good restaurant and bar on the premises. Would recommend highly.

The location is the best. The room does not make 2 stars. The sheets in the bed do not fit, they are all wrinkle, no way to correct the problem. The bed skirt hungs down in one site. The bathroom has the floss strings from a previous user. I have reservations for my trip back home, but may not select it for future trips.

Very hard to find. There are no signs for the hotel within the airport. I had to get directions from 3 different TSA agents to find it. Catching a taxi the next day was also troublesome because the nearest "taxi stand" is not staffed and the taxis don't stop.

good for a stay over for flight. tiny room with a huge pillar in the middle and windows to nowhere.

It is the only reason I would stay again in that hotel. It is a horrible hotel, but is in the airport. If you have an early flight, do it. If not save your money and go to a better cheaper hotel not at the airport.

This hotel looks nothing like the hotels.com photos. Very tired and pretty sleazy at reception / entry area. Whilst really convenient, I wouldn't wish it on anybody.

YOu could not take your luggage to your room on an airport cart. We had 5 bags and had paid for it. Three 50lb bags and 2carry ons plus 2business bags. There were no other carts available VERY awkward . Same procedure at 4:30am for departure. They only had three bath towels in room no face cloths or hand towels.

My wife and I checked in around 8pm after a long flight from Barbados. We had to leave by 6am to get a flight home at 8am the next day so all we did was sleep in the room for a short while. It was quiet, warm and peaceful so we are satisfied. The only adverse thing I can say is that we found a couple in the dining room who had paid considerably less for their room than we did. The food in the restaurant in the hotel was passable and fine for two tired travelers. A good deed: the hotel porter took our luggage in the morning to the check in desk (for a hefty tip). The airline had not agreed to keep our checked luggage overnight in this connecting flight so we (two 80 year olds) had to get it to the hotel and bring it back later. This made us even more tired and appreciative of the comforts of our room.

Its an airport hotel. Directly on the terminal :-) Easy when you have a plane to catch :-) ! Nice small room but not very clean.. Restaurant on top was old and warn out... Rather eat on the other airport restaurants.

I stayed overnight here to let my children get some sleep between connecting flights coming back from Central America and didn't want to have to take a shuttle somewhere... But the lobby area was creepy with all the chairs filled up with sleeping people, like a train station. Check-in took a long time and their agent was grumpy. Check-out had a long line so I ditched the key and headed to our flight.

The main and only reason I ever stay at the MIA hotel (which is often) is for the convenience of being IN the airport. My room this time was terrible, extremely small and rather uncomfortable -- especially for the somewhat higher price than I usually pay. The room service fine, the room was clean, but in general the hotel staff was cold and/or uninterested, unresponsive (except for the room service waiter!). This hotel NEEDS A COMPETITOR or else it needs to work on all aspects of service and room quality -- but, of course, when you have a monopoly you get lazy! I will probably try the sofitel or one of the other high-end hotels soon... maybe the convenience isn't all that worth it after all...

The room was tiny. I've stayed there several times before but this time the cost had gone up and the size of the room had decreased.

The room was small but good, once you found the hotel from the baggage area, which isn't easy. There are no signs for the hotel but one of the baggage clerks gave me directions. Also, all the rooms have metal doors and since there are about 40-50 rooms on each floor and lots of people coming and going at all hours, there's a lot of door-banging that takes some getting used to. I'd stay there again if I had an overnight connection, as long as I had earplugs!

Hotel was very comfortable and clean and very quiet for an in airport location. We also enjoyed the restaurant, good food and good service. I would highly recommend the Miami Airport Hotel.
