The Langham, Boston - بوسطن

Smallish rooms; interesting location but it is the financial district so kind of empty in immediate surroundings... Many businesses base their hours on a 9-5 week; Great staff; beautiful hotel.

Our stay was made enjoyable and stress free with the Langham's accommodating, helpful staff.( Particularly the guy at the front door and the man who checked us in ) Directions to desired destinations were helpful and easy to follow!

Very nice hotel and courteous staff. Great lounge with extraordinary decor (Bond). Just wish room was a bit bigger.

Staff was great, high tea wonderful and the pool/spa beautiful. Rooms are basic but very comfortable.

This is a lovely grand old hotel, but frankly the renovations don't fit. The location kept us in walking distance of Quincy Market and the North End. The staff was lovely, and though we had a security issue during our stay - it was resolved quickly by the security staff. The satellite television was malfunctioning badly during the first night of our stay, and we had no signal on most channels. That situation improved the following night, but was not completely resolved. Our room service breakfast was lovely, but the coffee was undrinkably bitter. The rooms and common areas are impeccibly kept and helpful staff abound. The food and service at the Bond restaurant were quite good, but the decor, including a wide screen TV are completely out of place in such an elegant room. Recent renovations have included an attempt to be trendy and ultra modern. This beautiful building deserved a more thoughtful and tasteful renovation.

Excellent stay. Great service, comfort and cleanliness. Within walking distance to many attractions.

Definitely a hotel with character and history. Good location for business (right next to our office). Glad the lobby renovations are done and the cafe is open for a quick breakfast in the morning. Impressive pool, spa and gym as well.

Loved it. Beautiful building in Financial district! Very historic and the staff were amazing. Will definitely be staying here again very soon!

Very nice hotel! Would have been perfect if the room had queen beds.

We stayed here after the blizzard as we needed to get away with our children who had been stuck indoors for days! We all enjoyed this hotel right from the minute we pulled up to the entrance! Afternoon tea, the Spa and pool area to name a few were a big hit with our family! The rooms were clean, beautiful decorated, and best of all quiet! The staff was extremely helpful and polite, greeting each of us each time we encountered them! They even brought our youngest his very own robe and slippers! Pool and spa area made our trip. Excellent place to stay weather for business or pleasure.

Nice hotel but two complaints - long line at check in and no pre order breakfast to hang on the door

I recently decided to surprise my husband with an overnight stay at The Langham. I wanted things to be special and had called previous to check in and spoke with Larissa. She was wonderful and said everything would be all set. I arrived ahead of my husband and upon check-in was immediately upgraded to a suite without even asking! It seemed that the staff just could not wait to exceed my expectations. Larissa even gave me a voucher towards any hotel services which I used for appetizers in the very trendy Bond restaurant where I had told my husband we were going for drinks. The waitress was in on the surprise and came over with a tray of macaroons with a candle and Happy Birthday written in chocolate! The room was beautiful -floor to ceiling windows that looked out over a lovely park below. The bed was super comfortable and all the linens and towels were so rich and thick. After returning from dinner there were chocolates laid out for us and another birthday wish written in chocolate. My husband worked out in the gym and said it was the nicest one he had ever been in and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The overall impression is that all the staff at The Langham could not be more willing, to help with anything that was needed. The area is a bit quiet but that is great at night because it is easier to sleep. Many points of interest, Fanueil Hall, the North End, Seaport are all within easy walking distance. Our weekend was wonderful and we cannot wait to return.

Have stayed here throughout the hotels transformation and the service never suffers. Staff is fantastic, extremely polite and gracious as well as lots of familiar faces over the years. Rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean, however, could use some updating. The spa is phenomenal and very relaxing, great pool and treatment services. The breakfast at Cafe Fleuri needs some work as my $25 Eggs Benedict plate was cold. Bond offers a nice menu of snacks and light fare with very attentive and pleasant bartenders and waitstaff. Overall it's a fabulous experience and close to Downtown Boston area, Faneuil Hall, Theatre District and Chinatown. The staff is wonderful and I highly recommend a stay here when in Boston.

The Langham's staff was top-notch and the hotel is well-maintained. The bathrooms could use an update as could the TV and clock radio in the guest rooms. The pool was nice and not terribly crowded. Fitness center is 24 hours.

Great location and excellent service. Staff were freindly and helpful. Rooms were clean and the pool was great. Dedinately would stay here as first choice in Boston.

Excellent service and hotel in general. Well located in Boston city, close city sites. Pool/ Jacuzzi was nice. Very well presented rooms and staff. Lives up to The Langham reputation to a tee.

Room was more than adequate and well kept. The various services provided were done without a hitch. This included reception, the restaurants and spa services and characterized the ammenities as well. The location is within walking distance to public transport and many of the historic sites (Old State House, Fanuel Hall, Tea Party Museum, Aquarium, etc...). Not cheap, but for a nice casual weekend - fantastic...

The hotel staff was wonderful! Could not have asked for better. Just be aware you have to be parked by the valet to get the hotel rate.

Excellent friendly staff, attentive to guest needs

Lovely hotel, beautifully decorated. Rooms are spacious, clean, nice extras like plush robes and slippers and automatic turn-down service. Service was excellent and room service was timely. The Bond Room (hotel restaurant) offers a nice menu, food is very good. Great wine selection. The only downside to this hotel is that the opening and closing of room doors can quite loud and disruptive at night and the rooms don't seem to have much in the way of soundproofing. A lot of peripheral noise.

Couldn't get a table in the hotel bar the first night, couldn't get in the bar the second night as they were having a fashion show or something in it. THE BOUNCERS AT THE BAR WERE DEFIANTLY OVER THE TOP AND HAD AN ATTITUDE PROBLEM. ESPECIALLY TO HOTEL GUESTS. Recommend the Elephant and castle round the corner, more than welcome there (NO BOUNCERS EITHER).

Our stay at the Langham was very pleasant. The lobby was gorgeous and the rooms were decorated beautifully. We were within walking distance of everything and the service was exceptional. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Service at a business hotel. We just dropped in and they treated us like regulars! Try the Sliders at Bond - Yummy, especially the Ahi Slider.

Our mattress dipped in the middle which you would not expect in a hotel of this price. The location was great and the staff helpful.

Smaller room than expected but nice. Lobby was like an operating room. Closed the only restaurant 2 of the nights for private parties. Would probably look for another place next time. Most of the staff was very helpful

Wonderful time in Boston, and the Langham was delightful

Provided a lot of amenities and room very comfortable. The reception area was rather barren as they were obviously remodelling

We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived!

Hotel is in a good location (especially for a business-person working in the financial district - which for a tourist is quite quiet in the evenings). The guest rooms are luxuriously appointed and the lobby is undergoing a modernization which is nearly complete. The bar/lounge is very cool but I found Cafe Fleuri to be rather sterile in its ambiance and decor - unlike the rooms and lounge.

Really great experience at the Langham Hotel in Boston. Very close proximity to Fanuiel Hall and Seaport area.
