This hotel provided an adult stay for us. Usually we stay in big chain hotels and have to share the ambiance with families with small children. At the Langham, we enjoyed the poolside whirlpool alone and the atmosphere that included adults exclusively.

Excellent service.

This is an excellent hotel with great service. We were upgraded upon arrival and the check in staff were delightful. The room was lovely of a very good size. We had brunch in one of the hotel restaurants - food was delicious (although fairly pricey). We also had a drink in the Bond bar, which was an impressive area that used to be the old federal reserve bank. It was a shame that we weren't told that it is a popular nightclub on Fridays and Saturdays otherwise we certainly would have checked out the DJ!

The hotel amenities, staff, location, etc was amazing. Not only did the staff recognize me from a previous stay but remember my preferences and even remembered the conversation we had in the past! (btw they even remember my name!!) The too room was fantastic, the gym and pool fully equipped. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Boston!

This is a great hotel that has understated elegance. Fitness center and pool are excellent, though not quite what would be found at a W.

Thid hotel is quality, beauty and cleanliness rolled into one hotel. The room was cozy yet spacious for my friend and I. The bathroom was spotless and relaxing as the bed which was plush and luxurious. If youre coming to Bosto, stay here!

Stayed here years ago and it was a wonderful hotel. Not so much anymore. But mostly dissatisfied with the fact that neither the hotel or Hotels.com advised that the hotel was under construction. Also, minor pet peeve... ordered $17 fruit and nut plate that was served with two halves of a single walnut (not kidding) and bruised green grapes. Disgusting.

I love a hotel that has character, charm, convenience, modern amenities, and a staff that works their hardest to meet your needs. The Langham, Boston was all that and more. They bent over backwards to make sure our weekend was the best possible. I loved staying there, It was the highlight of our trip.

I was absolutely impressed with the hotel; the rate was certainly worth it for the room we had and the service was over the top! I would not hesitate to stay here again - well worth every penny!!

Great hotel If you looking for hotel in Boston for business or a quick weekend stay. I went for a quick weekend visit and it was nice and central to many attractions. However, because it was a weekend and the hotel is located in the financial district the immediate was dead. That being said, most places of interest were only a 10-15 min walk away. One of the best parts of this hotel is the Sunday brunch... great! It's a bit pricy, but if you hungry it's worth it.

I had requested early check in and not only did they not have any rooms but still had no rooms available @ 3pm (acutal check in time). This was a bit annoeying.

Overpriced!! HORRIBLE treatment at Bond. Hotel does not pay for parking. Room darkening curtians were falling off the rod. Construction underway in the lobby. Was looking for a relaxing stree-free weekend and did not get it! Way to pricey for nothing special.

This hotel's reception is currently being renovated but our room was excellent .... clean, bright room that in most hotels would be superior. The bed was so comfortable. Only issues were (1) night club music beat could be heard in our room, and (2) there was no cold water pressure in the morning which meant we couldn't shower. But that second issue was due to renovations and the hotel gave my wife and I a complimentary breakfast to make up for it. Well done front desk of Langham. We highly recommend this as a great Boston hotel and will definitely stay here again (if we get more great deals from Hotels.com)

hotel is in the middle of renovations, so lobby looks like a big sprawl of pink drywall, but front desk is friendly. location was really convenient for my various meetings. bathtub felt a bit dated and there is a LOT of pink, but overall a more than adequate experience (may have appreciated it more if i'd been there more than 1 night though, admittedly).

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Langham. Not only were the rooms clean, the bathrooms nice and the beds comfortable but it was in a very convenient location. We were able to enjoy a 5 minute walk to all of the popular bars for St. Patty's day. Also we were able to walk to the North End, which was a great dinner spot. We also had a friend staying in Southy which ended up being only a 20 minute walk. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We had three children under three years old and were worried about meeting their needs, but the hotel staff was fabulous. They were very helpful and went above and beyond to help us out. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in the heart of Boston. It's close to the freedom Trail and Boston Commons and all the other great sites, and it was remarkably quiet at night (and we were even there for St. Patrick's Day!)

The hotel, staff, room were all great and helpful. The extra fees were a turn off. ... a $$$ pet fee (that, if I recall correctly, was not published). And a per day fee for use of wireless in the room.

from the time i pulled up at valet parking to the ending of my stay all hotel employees went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met and exceeded.the thing that was most impressive was all hotel employees called me by name and were helpful in finding points of interest in the city.i will definately be returning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect location in walking distance to many attractions. Wonderful service. Would definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel because the hotel for our conference was full. It was charming, but they were doing some renovations. That didn't bother our room at all. The only caution I have is the room service. The food was good, but did not include some ingredients that were in the description. The soup was not cheap and they added a hotel fee and a tip, none of which was mentioned on the menu or during my ordering phone call.

This is a hotel that values service. The staff was always visible and anxious to assist. The only issue would be the prices charged for room service.

My husband and I like to do quick get-a-ways (without the kids) into Boston. This was the second time we have stayed at Langham, and we will certainly be back! From the moment we pulled up and handed over our keys, until we said goodbye, the experience was nothing short of perfect. Our room was extremely clean, and good sized. We spent some time in the pool area, and the music was so relaxing, we each dozed off for a few minutes in the lounges. After our quick cat naps, we headed out to dinner, got a great recommendation from the concierge, who even got us reservations. Everyone at the hotel knew our names as soon as we were checked in, and greeted us by name each time we walked through the lobby. We ended our night there at Bond for cocktails. If you go there, keep in mind that proper dress is required (no jeans), and the meatballs are to die for!

Enjoyed our stay over New Years weekend. The staff was very helpful and the rates were reasonable.

After traveling from Munich through Toronto and onto Boston, I spent a lovely New Years Eve tucked into my luxurious room with an outstanding bowl of Boston Clam Chowder from Room Service. The staff were quite helpful and friendly. It's a perfect venue for any reason and the location is great. I left Boston with good memories and a smile.

We have just returned from a pre-Christmas trip to Boston and we stayed at the Langham for 5 nights. We were upgraded to a room with a king sized bed and the room was generous in size and was extremely comfortable. The service from the front desk was superb and the spa is a real treat! Swimming pool and gym facilities make exercise easy. The location is in the financial district, which is quiet at night but is within a five minute walk of Quincy Market with its bars and restaurants and ten minutes from the wonderful Legal Seafoods on the Waterfront. My only slight gripe is the daily charge for WiFi access, which seems a little mean.

The staff at the Langham managed to be both extremely professional and extremely warm and personable at the same time. The lobby is grand and elegant, the desk staff, bellmen and doormen went out of their way to accommodate our every desire from the moment we walked in - great first impression that continued throughout our stay. Bond is a cool bar with interesting drinks and some good people watching. I requested a park view and they were able to accommodate by upgrading us to a corner room that was quiet and extremely comfortable. The room wasn't ready on arrival as we landed mid-morning, so the desk agent promised to call my cell as soon as the room was ready, which he did faithfully (and it was still well before normal check-in time). The room was lovely - bathrooms were modern and elegant, bed was sumptuous. The Spa/pool area was very nice, we received some excellent spa treatments. We had only two minor complaints. One is that the Housekeeping staff called our room one afternoon when we were napping even though we had our DND sign out and I had already personally spoken with a housekeeper, telling her specifically that we might not want service that day. That is a pet peeve of mine - Do Not Disturb should apply to everyone, ESPECIALLY the Housekeeping staff! Also, we were really excited to partake of the famous and elaborate Sunday brunch. The setting and service were exceptional - it was holiday time and there were carolers and a Santa and the decor was lovely. Also, the sheer variety and amount of options was staggering. However, the quality and flavor of the food itself was actually a bit disappointing! It was kind of shocking considering how much care was clearly placed into creating all these dishes from scratch, in house, and the elaborate presentation - it looked as though it would be the meal of a lifetime, and yet despite a few bright spots, the flavor of most of the dishes was a bit underwhelming. This is a very good hotel with a greta bar. The rooms need to be updated.

Overall a very nice hotel but two things could be better. 1) Low water pressure in the shower and batroom sink (not acceptable anywhere, especially in a hotel of the quality). 2) I was put in a VERY SMALL ROOM. Hardly room for 1 person. If this is what you get when booking via a site such as hotels.com as opposed to booking with the hotel directly then at the very least I should be made aware of this. The jury is out on this one...

My husband and I stayed at the Langham for a 1 night getaway to Boston. From the moment we pulled up, to the minute we left, the staff was wonderful, always calling us by name, and giving us great advice. The hotel is beautiful and retains its old charm. The room could not have been nicer or cleaner. I was concerned about sleeping in the city, with the noise, but our room was very quiet and the bed was super comfortable. We are already looking forward to our next stay at the Langham.

Great location, second to none on the service front, and the spa/pool is a great way to start the day.

By far the greatest hotel experience I have ever had! I called the day prior to arrival to confirm my reservation, not only did they ask what type of pillows we wanted (feather or foam) they also asked what floor we would like to be on! We paid for a Queen room and were upgraded to a King on the top floor! The entire staff was so fiendly and VERY helpful. I can't wait to return to the Langham!

The hotel has a lovely check out time of 1PM. Very civilized if you want an exceptional Sunday morning brunch and after over eating it is a 3 block walk to Boston Harbor and the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

Great experience. Perfect location. The staff was super attentive. I particularly liked the historical perspective with all the photos of the original building of the Federal Reserve Bank. Have been staying in this hotel for YEARS and it's delightful to see it so well maintained. The only issue is the gym - still such a weird small space engineered around a big pool that doesn't get much use.

great location, clean and comfy rooms and the pool/jacuzzi is amazing! A little noisy because of the bond restaurant/lounge at night

The hotel room was confortable and overall service quite good. What made this a great stay is the exceptional concierge services we received. Great recommendations for restaurants and reservations to restaurants where we had gone and been told that they were full... This is very much the mark of a great hotel.

Except for the fact that the toilet ran for 2 plus days, even after a compalint to the management/staff on duty, the hotel is fine. However, running toilets are a pain, not to mention noisy.
