Breakfast was awesome - way beyond expectations, very very helpful attending staff, clean, pleasant. Check in help slightly short but maybe was a long day. Courtyard smelled like pool - may need more ventilation. Room quiet and clean. Management at breakfast was checking on things, not apparent in other hotels. Nice place.

Very dis satisfied ! outdated room & The beds were extremely Bad! WE sent out for a new mattress to put on top the other mattress on one of the beds! But all personnel were curtious at all times and tried there best!

This is an Embassy Suite hotel. That said, it falls well withing the standards I expected for the chain. The staff was excellent and courteous. The room was spacious enough and clean, although it was a smoking room and it had residual tobacco odor. The meals were their usual high standard. However, parking was a major issue. At 7:30 in the evening, both nights, the lot was full and I had to park in the street nearby.

The Embassy Suites in Corpus Christi TX use to be one of the best hotels to stay at. It is now showing aging in the rooms and the smell of meldew. The inside courtyard is still beautiful and the pool area is one of the best. I was telling my family that was probably going to be our last stay there. Event night puts a handicap in the parking space available for the overnight tenants.

The ONLY complaint I have about this hotel is the bathroom was way too small. The other thing is the back door into the hotel did NOT connect. But as usual, I am satisfied with Embassy Suite. I love staying at the hotel...their breakfast wasn't quite 'cook-to-order' like I am use to from Embassy, but it was still a pleasant stay. I love that the front desk called me about 10 minutes into checking in to see if everything was to my satisfaction and they sent the extra towels and blankets I requested up immediately. I was very impressed

The hotel is clean, close to shopping and the beach. Will stay again

This hotel was grossly overrated. It was a beat up old place that allowed 500 children to RUN up and down the halls screaming and tromping over people to make the elevators go up and down while their parents were tossing down cases of beer in the open lobby. It was a scene from a nightmare. Screaming, writhing children were splashing in the indoor pool and leaving their wet towels all over the lobby. Breakfast was bedlam with parents and kids alike vying to see who could cram the most food down their throats. Hilton should be ashamed. Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else unless you have a bunch of wild, misbehaving children. If you do, it's perfect for you.

Room was clean..Breakfast was great and the free drinks from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. was awesome

We were greeted with "checking in?" and not even a "thank you" or "enjoy your stay" came out of their mouths. Perhaps the afternoon had been hard on the two girls working at the front desk....but it was awkwardly unfriendly. Food was good, kitchen staff very friendly. Nice rooms ( I rented 2 ) but view was horrible as it was facing a torn up parking lot. Won't stay there again...too bad...it was a really nice place for my sisters and I and our children to stay at one time...what happened? Did ownership change hands?

The lobby clerks were not of much service to us and not too friendly but the housekeeping staff were nice and made us feel more welcomed. We did enjoy the dining area and the excercise room. No complaints on the location of the hotel, there were many businesses in the surrounding area. Have stayed in better places.

The location is good about 15-20 min to most of the attractions; such as Mustang Island, USS Lexington, Padre island. Nice breakfast, friendly service. Recommended.

Needs updating to keep up with other 3 star hotels. Breakfast buffet good and very convenient.

This hotel was not at the level of other Embassy Suites I have stayed at. I was extremely disappointed. The hotel pool was nasty, and the hot tub had a film floating on it. There was trash everywhere and water all over the floor in the pool area. The water was cloudy and reeked of B.O. I went back by the next morning hoping it had just been a busy day, but it had not been cleaned even though it had been closed for 12 hours. Our hotel room was slightly better, but we found a dead roach in our room and another in the hall. I was afraid to leave our luggage on the floor. One of my worst hotel experiences ever--for cleanliness.

This our second time staying at this hotel. It's centraly located to where we needed to go. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It's worth the money.

We had such a great experience staying here at the Embassy Suites Corpus Christi. Nice rooms, happy hour was a plus and breakfast outstanding. Will stay here again!

Terrible tv in bedroom....old tube type Freeeeeeezing pool Free breakfast food was decent

I've stayed at Embassy Suites before in Huntsville, AL. This particular hotel in Corpus had a very friendly helpful staff, however, the condition of the hotel itself was lacking. The rooms had a moldy wet smell and were in not worth the fee being charged. The pool was cloudy and looked unclean. Hotel location was not too bad. Within walking distance of decent food (Outback, Cracker Barrel) and within 15 minute drive of beach.

All good. Friendly staff . Grandkids love the pool after the beach. Great breakfasts. Close to beach and sights. 3d visit - will return.

Stayed here with a lot of other family members for a nearby wedding. All together we had about 8 rooms. The atrium is awesome, and perfect for a bunch of people getting together. The free breakfast and free drinks during happy hour every night has made this hotel the family preference any time we're in town!

great location....near stores and restaurants. mall is across the high way and their buffet breakfast is simply the best. free cocktail drinks is a plus.

I was very pleased with my overall experience with the hotel. However, the staff could have cleaned a little better in the rooms and in the halls. My dirty glasses were left there and not replaced. I would have like there to be a hand sanitizer on the bathroom sink or a bottle of hand soap. There was only a face soap bar. I recommend putting in some wall dispensers. There was and probably still is a piece of pizza crust on the second floor hall which was there for all three days I was there. Staff had a lot to deal with and seemed to be very hardworking and trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Requests were answered immediately. Scrambled eggs from the breakfast bar could have been cooked longer and were watery every time. Bacon could have been drained, it practically sat in the grease and made it soggy. Other than that I just want to give the staff props for their friendliness and in making my stay and especially my check-in and check-out the easiest I've ever experienced!

For me, it was just o.k. The price did not match the hotel though. The Embassy Suites in Houston is much nicer. The bed was very hard and I did not sleep at all while I was there. Had to move to the small couch in the living area. Checked out one day early and still had to pay for the night we did not stay. The sole reason we left early was to get home to my bed. The restaurant food was not good at all but we did not have the breakfast. One great thing is that they have a free happy hour at night. Yes, FREE BEER. Cups are small but they will give you two at a time and you can go back as much as you like. My Husband was all about that.

There is a wonderful person working the bar during the "free drinks" time. She needs a raise, regardless of what she makes. Seriously, I wish I had that energy!

The hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The free breakfasts and happy hour were nice. The hotel is a little out-dated but we enjoyed our stay. Very close to restaurants and not too far from beach. Would stay again.

Embassy Suites is a very comfortable hotel. Our most important reason for staying here is it has a wonderful hot breakfast for free.

This is a great hotel. I have had issues here, but they are always willing to do what they can to make it right. We stay here 4-6 times per year and will continue!

This hotel has seen better days. All the usual Embassy Suites amenities are here but are in need of updating, replacing, and repair. The hotel does not appear to be being kept up except at a very basic level.

The hotel staff was great!!! The hotel looked and felt old. It was clean but just showed its age. Its best days were 15 or more years ago. \Needs a major upgrade.

This was my first time to Corpus Christi, and this will be my go-to hotel here. The location was perfect for me, and I love the free parking and breakfast. This is a smaller Embassy Suites - only three floors - but I really liked the look. Internet is NOT free, so don't allow yourself to be surprised by that.

They let too many people stay in adjoining rooms, lots of loud kids. Maid service had a lot to desire. Maid walked into room and knocked on bathroom door while I was in there! Skipped us the next day, and we had to go to front desk for towels. Just looked like it needed updating. Breakfast was good.

The only thing I was disappointed in was the kitchen in the room. No utensils or plates and only way to warm things was the microwave. I thought I remembered the kitchen being bigger.

Excellent place to stay. Staff was extremely nice and room was perfect. The atmosphere was amazing! Manager's special in the evening and a made to order breakfast in the morning were included with each nights stay. Unbeatable!

My daughter and her 3 small children were visiting while I was moving. We decided to stay at the Emb. Suites. The kids loved it. They loved the fast and easy free breakfast, the indoor pool and hot tub, the free snacks in the late afternoon, and the fact that they could roam around downstairs and we could still see them. Game room was a big disappointment for the 8 year old boy. Some of the games were out of order. Room service was good and really inexpensive. They liked it so well we stayed again this last weekend. Old hotel needs fixed up, but for us it was great.
