The Westbury Hotel - دﺑلن

The westbury is a great hotel, very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to travel to Dublin soon!

The location of Westbury is excellent - close to Grafton Street shops and Temple Bar. The Hotel is of a high standard and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The check out of 12pm was helpful as was free Wifi. The only issue was that I did not find the pillows particularly comfortable but I guess I could have asked for different ones but I didnt. Im usually quite picky but all up I would definately recommend this Hotel in Dublin.

best located hotel in dublin - especially for shoppers. luxurious and also expensive. Parking is awkward - the door man parks the car in the hotel's underground car park. So it is a bit awkward coming and going by car. But it is nonetheless a treat overall with excellent staff throughout. If you want to enjoy a luxury break but also keep the costs down - 2 suggestions. don't have the 28 Euro breakfast. you can have a full irish in most places nearby for a third of that! And if you are staying in the city centre throughout - then you really don't need to bring the car - which costs 20 euro per night. But its a classy hotel and a stonesthrow from dublins best shops bars and restaurants.

Excellent hotel, great location.

at the coffee machine did not work. One of desk lights did not work. The buffet meal we had was quite dry and although easy was not great for quality rating of the hotel. The staff were polite and friendly- no buffet breakfast available.

Enjoyed a relaxing two night break in the Westbury. Had a lovely room with a very comfortable bed and despite the hotel being fully booked, it was very quiet during the night. No returning revellers disturbing the peace! Service was friendly and attentive and unlike some 5 star hotels, not in the least overbearing or pretentious.

Just had a fabulous one nite's stay at Westbury, staff were brilliant, a perfect example as to how a hotel should be run. I look forward to going back for another relaxing stay. Can't wait!!

The absolute best thing about staying at this hotel was the bed - it was so spacious and very very comfortable! The service from the staff was excellent and so was everything else in the room.. loved the Nespresso coffee machine :) Breakfast was also lovely. Great location too.

What a fantastic hotel, fantastic location and superb service. We could not fault this hotel in any possible way. Staff were so friendly and professional. We will be booking again in the near future.

The Westbury has much to recommend it: the staff are very friendly and efficient, the rooms very very good (well maintained, modern, well appointed and spotless), the facilities of a very high standard. Perhaps the only things (marginally) against it is the place is slightly soulless and the room air con is a bit noisier than it should. But easily the best thing about the Wesbury is its location. It is a few metres from Grafton street with its shops and bars. Classic Dublin bars such as Keoghs (Anne St S)and McDaids (Harry St)are literally a minute or seconds away. Stephens Green is at one end of Grafton St and Trinity College at the other. Excellent restaurants such as Sixty 6 (S Gt Georges St) and the Winding Stair (Ormond Quay lower) are a walk away and excellent breakfasts are available in the Avoca restaurant (Suffolk st) and Gibsons (Wicklow st). The Westbury puts you in the heart of Dublin, and although I'm sure the food and drink there are of a high standard, the best thing about it is that its location allows you to sample real Dublin close-by. PS you should be able to pick up rooms at about 50% of their rack rates - and Hotels.com will help you there

All public areas are amazing but for a five star hotel I could not believe the size of the bedroom, bed or en suite. Although all the extras were there, bedside mat, slippers, etc. the simplest of things like room size, bed size were very disappointing. You had to manoeuvre around the door of the en suite to close the door. If sitting on the w.c. Your knees nearly hit the door. Not acceptable for a five star hotel. Won't be back. Frills are nice when the basics are looked after first. Recommendation will mention size of bedroom.

Can't fault it - great location, fantastic service - great place to stay.

The west bury exceeded our expectations, room was of high quality, if on the smaller size. Staff were exceptional and very helpful. My only concern was there was no where as a guest you could relax outside the room,as all the communal areas are reserved for afternoon teas etc. The bar was the only other place we could use. This was a minor concern, as overall our trip this Xmas week was very relaxing.

this was the best hotel we have stayed in Ireland.Everything was so good and the staff so friengly.

My husband and I decided that this year, we would do a night at the Westbury during our Christmas break with family - it was an opportunity to take a break from our newborn as well as see friends whom we only see once or twice a year. The Westbury particularly during Christmas time is truly fabulous. The carol singers in the lobby liven up the spirits while the tranquility of the rooms are great get-aways from the hustle and bustle of Grafton Street. The deputy manager Mark was one of the most hospitable and competent managers we have ever met. He handled both our dinner and lunch reservations last minute during a very busy week and ensured that we were very well taken care of throughout our stay. Concierage wasn't up to the quality of the rest of the hotel but minor detail... they always called back quickly with an answer!

The door between the room and hotel hall was not noicebarriering. Every time the room service nocked on the neighbor rooms, we thought they knocked on our door. This was wary irritating early mornings. We could also hear the people in nighborrooms peing in toilet, and watching their TV.

Recently spent five nights at the Westbury during a three week tour of W. Europe. This was the most comfortable and well-run lodgings we encountered. Would not hesitate to recommend it.

Once again, the Westbury did not let us down. We slipped away for a two night break after what can only be described as six months from hell, and immediately relaxed in its elegant, luxurious but above all friendly surroundings. Our room was one of the hotel's "standard" units, but standard is a relative term. It was large, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The room had a minibar complete with crystal glasses, a nespresso machine, a kettle and a selection of teas and nespresso coffees. I also must make special mention of Joseph Downing, a member of the management team, who went out of his way to help us, when we discovered we had lost our return rail tickets back to Belfast. Joseph, and the Westbury, are a real credit to the Doyle Group.

We have stayed many times in Dublin but have never had such a comfortable hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room with queen sized bed was spotless and had every convenience. It was difficult to get out of bed in the morning because of the comfort. Very seldom have I stayed anywhere that is as comfortable as my bedroom at home! I will be using the Westbury from now on.

Perfect location right off of Grafton street. Close to shopping and restaurants. However, carpet in our room was stained, walls had dirt marks as well as the ceiling. Also, we were treated poorly by the concierge compared to older patrons of the hotel (we are in our mid-20's).

The Westbury is a fantastic hotel. Three generations of my family stayed there in the last weekend of August. It is very close to the shops and many cultural sites, yet provides a haven of calm. It has a wonderful lounge area to relax in and the staff are so attentive and charming. The afternoon tea is beautifully presented and a real treat. A wonderful hotel for all generations. Expensive, but worth it.

Outstanding stay start to finish. Very clean, very friendly and a wonderful location.

Staff were amazing. Definitely one of the best located hotels in Dublin. Room was very comfortable. I'd recommend to everyone without a doubt!

It was all I expected. The room was elegant and stylish and had all you required. The curtains were lined which meant you weren't woke by brightness in the morning. I was a luxury to stay in

hotel was great, people were great, as they are in ireland, the standard could be a little higher, the lobby looks a little worn, our bathroom had cracks in the ceiling, which i believe is a no go in a 5 star hotel, i work in the business and 5 star to me stands for immaculate and perfect, still the location is brilliant, the hotel room as such is very cozy and extremely clean, the service is outstanding and i would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody. its a very lively hotel, so if you look for total peace and quiet it might not be the right one for you

Great spot for the City Centre South of the River Liffey. Walking distance to most places you might want to see.

Superb hotel with lovely staff. Have stayed there before and find it very relaxing. We love to park the car for the weekend and because of the convenient location we can walk everywhere. Great selection of good restaurants near by and of course Grafton Street is on the doorstep.

Excellent location, very classy hotel. Need to say more?

The hotel is superbly located near Grafton Street; nestled away enough to be quiet yet easy to step out immediately into the middle of central Dublin with everything on your doorstep. Temple Bar area is a 5 min walk away, Trinity College even less. Guinness Storehouse was maybe a 30 minute leisurely walk on the farther side of town. The service was very friendly. When asked for assistance in some arrangements on several occasions, they made them quickly in a nice professional manner. The room was as good as to be expected for the level of the hotel. I was impressed to see at the desk plugs for UK, EU and US type wall sockets already built in. The view we had was not impressive, just of surrounding buildings but that was to be expected due to the central location of the hotel. The only negative point to call out was that the cleaning staff started their rounds early and were knocking on doors around 0800 to 0830 every morning. So be sure to put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door if you want to sleep past 8am!
