Manhattan Beach Marriott - منهاتن بيتش

The staff was totally inedpt. Standing in groups and not helping the customers. The only exception was the Startbuck man.

This hotel has dated facility. Feels like a motel rather than a hotel. Free Cable with very limited channel and no free internet service. Housekeeping staff doesn't put out shampoos out every time when they clean the room. Only when complained is when they start putting it out. Parking was too expensive as well. I wouldn't recommend this hotel b/c I think its over priced based on what you get in return.

This is a great hotel with a very solid location - close to main amenities and not too far from beach life. If you wanna get downtown, maybe no so hot, but hey why move from the beach. The bar staff are a great crew and overall very satisfied. Something weird with the wifi but working through that.

The Hotel was nice, the location ok. L.A. is spread out so it did require a lot of driving. I was disappointed that they charged a lot for WiFi, seems bizarre when any little drive-in motel offers this for free. parking was pricey given that they had a huge mostly empty parkade. I would stay there again, but only if I had a huge discount as they nickle and dime you for all the supposedly full services.

We were surprised by the size and comfort of the room, the helpfulness of the staff and the quality of the food and beverages. Great experience!

Great location within easy proximity to shops and beach area. Nice facilities (even better I am sure when the sun is shining). People very friendly and accommodating!!

It was great to be close to everything, great proximity to everything.

I booked this hotel for my anniversary weekend and was dissapointed that it had more business feel to it. I was not familiar with the area and from the pictures it looked quite romantic but the shear size of the hotel (huge) was an indicator I didn't book a hotel with the atmosphere I wanted. On a different note, the bathroom in our room was recently remodeled and it was wonderful!

High parking rate and no free internet access in the room were only downsides of this hotel

This place is beautiful. It's right on a golf course. My stay was short but extremely pleasant. Would highly recommend.

Although the hotel was undergoing renovation, they alterted us in advance and extended a price advantage for this. Location is excellent for our needs and we look forward to the improvements in details after the renovation.

Very close to the airport and the freeway. Great location.

The hotel is nice and convenient. BUT...$21 for SELF-parking in the weekend??? ouch! Unfortunately there is no street parking or any other public parking available, so you are forced to shell out the parking fee whether you like it or not. Shame on you Marriott. Other hotels in the area, don't charge a penny for it. I will reconsider NOT staying there next trip.

We had a great stay. Not too far from the airport, it was like a resort. There was some construction going on in the hotel, so when we checked in they offered to move our room. Thanks! We enjoyed the stay and wish that we were there longer. Next time.

The room was lovely. The hotel was in very good condition as was everything you wuld hope for. I am handicaped and everyone was more than willing to help me in anyway the could. I was very thankful.

This hotel was clean, friendly, completely satisfactory. However, Manhattan Beach (wonderful beach) is a $10 cab ride away and there is nothing next to the hotel of any interest. I'm told it's one of the best hotels in Manhattan beach, but I saw hotels much closer to the beach. It's up to you...

This is a beautiful, comfortable, extremely well-managed hotel with great facilities. I was on a personal retreat to get work done (writing), and picked this hotel for comfort, convenient location and business facilities. It was even nicer than I expected, with a comfortable room, and lots of places to work including the lobby, pool area, and cafe. The staff were gracious and professional - I would absolutely go back and/or recommend. If you are considering for a vacation, it's not exactly in the middle of things -- it's a short drive to the beach, etc. But it's in the middle of a nice shopping area, with restaurants, bookstores, a movie theater, etc., and convenient to several major freeways.

not exactly in the heart of manhattan beach, but close enough. very short cab rides, or a nice long walk on a sunny day, or rent bikes next door at Helen's Cycles or even thru the hotel and ride down to the beach (that's what we did, it was awesome)...

First time staying at this Marriott and was pleased with the overall service and accomodations. Friendly Staff, Clean Room, good enough for me.........

A great place to stay. Friendly & helpfull Staff, big rooms, nice views...

Came out to manhattan beach for a friends wedding and had an awesome time..... The Marriott was only a mile away from the reception and a couple of miles away from the beach... My only regret is not bringing some golf clubs to play the 9 hole course adjacent to the hotel!

I enjoyed my stay here..check in was a breeze..did not have to pay for parking like everyone said you did. Just make sure you inform the front about the parking so its free. The bed was extremely comfortable!! I was even tempted to take one of the pillows. =) but i resisted. This place has a beautiful view of the golf course too!

Less than 10 minutes in taxi from LAX terminal to hotel. So close yet far enough away to not feel like you are at the airport. I had a 24 hour lay over and found it wonderful. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Very quiet and peacefull. Nice large room. Well equiped gym and great pool. The 9 hole par 3 golf course looked wonderful but I opted for a tour of LA instead which was also fantastic. Next time I'll play golf. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. I look forward to my next visit to this hotel.

Hotel and employees were friendly, courteous and helpful. Hotel and gym was beautifully and perfectly maintained.

Hotel was okay but there was no 'wow' factor about it. Liked the proximity to key freeways, local shops etc. Was dissapointed with the on-site dinning options. As a female travelling alone on business I like a nice comfy bar area where you can eat and work and they didn't really have one. If you need a hotel in the area though this will do just fine

We felt they were not interested in us having a comfortable stay. It was more about getting to the next guest for more money. We felt they should spent more quality time on the guest they were working with.

What a pleasant surprise. Beautiful hotel with lovely views and great service. Our room exceeded our expectations and the price was outstanding.

Parking is an extra $17. The person at the parking checkout screwed something up and we got charged again another 4 dollars when we re-entered the parking. Asking for money back was a waste of time, because after 10 minutes of trying to recover the cost she sent us to the Reception. Pretty frustrating, especially when you are in a hurry. Also, breakfast was not included in the price of the room. The original price seemed like a goood deal, but given all the hidden cost, I think someone can find better than this. The gym is awesome though, equipped with the newest equipment.

The beds were very comfortable and the pool was nice. My only complaint is that the hotel charges for parking.
