THE ONLY PROBLEM IS NO DRAWERS IN THE ROOM AND THE ROOM WAS MUCH SMALLER THAN ON PREVIOUS VISITS

Outstanding in every way, save the size of the room, which was uncomfortably small for two persons. Would have been fine for a single. Location of the hotel was perfect for both sightseeing and theater. Staff was outstandingly helpful and courteous. Condition of hotel was excellent in every sense. Would certainly stay again, but would request a larger room.

Stayed 4 nights. Centrally located .Walking distance from many tourist spots.Metro Stations very near .Staff very helpful and polite.

The hotel is very nice and the staff friendly and helpful but internet is not included in the price and I find that greedy och not very service-minded.

About 3 minutes' walk from Picadilly Circus and Green Park. Fantastic location and value.

Comfortable rooms, well equipped. Windows don't open. Aircon works well if a trifle noisy. Bathrooms good. Exec rooms have tub plus spacious shower. Breakfast good but massively over-priced. Service efficient and friendly. Overall, very good hotel in a prime location for theatres, shopping and business.

I had a fantastic stay at the Cavendish. The location is superb, the staff and friendly and very helpful, and the hotel is excellent; well maintained and spacious. I will definitely stay here again when I next visit London.

First class hotel in prime location for Galleries ,Theatres and shops in the best part of London. Room was beautifully appointed though a little small. Good service too.

We stayed here for 5 days and loved it. The room quality is excellent and larger than we expected, especially the bathroom. Hotel service was top notch. Have the concierge get you a car service to Heathrow, it's the same cost as a taxi but a nicer ride. Location is a few blocks from a Tesco for quick food items and also within a 5 minute walk from the theater district and Picadilly Circus. It can get loud at night though so the higher up you can stay the better. You're really in the heart of the city and can easily walk to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the Thames, etc.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Very modern. Friendly staff all around. We had to have our original bed sheets changed for some soiling but other than that everything seemed very clean. The rooms are small but reasonable for europe. Bathrooms are small too, but again reasonable and all you really need. The hotel is in a fantastic location to walk anywhere in London. It is right by Picadilly Circus and walkable to Trafalgar Square. It is also close to all the major underground stops. We also rode the hop on hop off bus and it was very convenient. The location felt safe for us to walk around at night too. Overall a great hotel and we would definitely stay there again

Great location! Great services!

We stayed for a short lesure break in a superior room with breakfast for 2 nights. Hotel is in a fantastic location on Jermyn Street. Tramps niteclub is across the street as is Fortnum and Mason with only a 5 minutes walk to Picadilly Circus. The good sized room (for central London) was excellent with views across to big ben and the london eye. The bed was comfortable and it must be the fasting filling bath in the UK! Service from all staff was courteous and non-intrusive. We will return.

It was my third staying in The Cavindish Hotel. I like it very much. The staff is efficient and friendly. The hotel is wonderfully located, it is close to many major attractions and next door to a wonderful sweet shop Fortnum and Mason. I will certainly recommend it to my friends.

If not for the irritating repeat asking of Wifi passwords from the busy reception which inconvenienced all, the stay would have been perfect.

Mynhusband and I stayed in the Cavendish for our 25th wedding anniversary. The staff were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. On our last day we wanted afternoon tea but all tables were booked, so they Let us have a table in the restaurant even though it was not normally open! The location is excellent and was well placed for all our needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times each year for about thirty years and see no reason to change. A bit pricey of late but I will still return.

The only thing I am totally displeased is that if the hotel is prepared to give her customers one hour of free wifi which can be extended for as many times as one wish, then why make it mandatory for customers to call on the reception each time the 1 hr is up. This makes it highly inconvenient for customers to have to go to the reception which is often busy with check-ins and check-outs. It would have been a nicer experience if the free wifi is for the duration of the stay and can be used at any time without having to get a different password for every hour, then the stay would have been perfect. Otherwise, the hotel offers very good service and is near to many amenities and attractions. If the wifi can be fixed, I will definitely be back again. Audrey

Excellent experience

The Cavendish is a great hotel in a great location. This also makes it a haven in the city of London. No matter which direction you walk in you will find a significant tourist attraction. It is well known to London cabs and they are plentiful in the area. The rooms are well maintained albeit small. My only small crtiticism is that the shower heads are extremely high and the water pressure not so good. The restaurant and lounge bars are very nice and well staffed. There is a Tesco down the road, Fortnum and Mason across the street and a variety of coffee shops. If only Jermyn Street was lined with women's clothing shops instead of mens! I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location. The classic rooms are small. They have a shower and no bath. I would stay again, but in a larger room.

The only bad thing was the size of the room. We had a superior room which was quite small.

Room was a bit small and water pressure a bit low on the 14th floor. Everything else was just perfect. Location is amazing.

a nicely renovated hotel in the center of London. walking distance to all major attractions and sight seeing. Helpful and attentive staff. Rooms are small in size, but clean, modern and cozy. Some rooms have amazing view of the London eye and Big ben (higher floors).

My wife and I stayed at the Cavendish for our 40th wedding anniversary. Our stay was made all the more enjoyable by the fantastic service, the attentiveness of the staff and the overall quality and location of the hotel. Our only tiny complaint is that ourroom could have been slightly bigger, but I presume that space is at a premium in all hotels in Central London

Celebrating my husband's cancer remission, we booked a stay at the Cavendish. Hands down, we have never stayed at a nicer place before! The bed was comfortable, the proximity to shopping cannot be beat, and the service was impressive. Aziz and Mo are especially gifted hosts, ready to help lend a hand throughout our stay. They were most attentive, and their sincere concern for their vacationers' well-being was apparent in their words and actions. Hands down, we hope to stay there again, and we would recommend the Cavendish to anyone that loves London, especially wanting a safe, centrally located hotel (the tube is 3 blocks away, and Fortum and Mason is literally next door).

Terrific, quiet location, great breakfast, and courteous staff. Only complaint: a high per day charge to use WIFI in the room. Assuming that changes soon, the Cavendish will be the perfect choice for a London holiday.

Have stayed here a couple of times before and have had bigger rooms with better views. In fact last time we expressed disappiontment and were moved but couldn't be bothered this time as we knew we would be out and about most of the time. The quality of the room (furnishings, etc) was still good but for 5 stars I am looking for exceptional and with the room size and 4 regular drinks at the bar costing nearly £40 pounds.......

I only write reviews when a Hotel is very good or very poor and in this case our three night stay at the Cavindish met all my expectations - Ideally located to theatres, tourist attractions and hop on hop off bus services. Immediately upon entering the Hotel you are greeted with welcome smiling faces and very helpful staff - they could not do enough for you and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are excellent and very comfortable. (upgraded to a superior room) - Breakfast was included and it was great, something for everybody's taste - We had one evening meal in the Hotel and it was very competitively priced but of very high quality. The initial impressions of the Hotel may be that it is quite small but do not let this mislead you - this Hotel comes highly recommended.

I have never completed an online review, but will make an exception for this hotel. It is not one of the "grand" London hotels. So if that's what you want, go pay two or three times the price and look elsewhere. Otherwise I can't imagine a friendlier, more helpful staff or a better location for this price. Clean, comfortable, well located. A nice small lounge and restaurant area and prompt room service. Would definitely return.

We have stayed at The Cavendish a few times now and it is always great. It is close to the hustle and bustle but far enough away to hear no noise. Its simply great, with the most comfortable beds in the world!

Stayed at this lovely hotel near Green Park tube (10 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace), Great stylish hotel, good food and excellent service. Couldn't have asked for more.

The Cavendish was wonderful. The room we had was small, but very comfortable. The breakfast, which was included, was delicious. We like being in that part of town - walkable to everywhere without being in the middle of all the noise and chaos of London. We will definitely stay there again.

Been staying at The Cavendish for many years. Never disappoints. Sumptuous breakfast, room maintenance excellent, prompt service. Always return.

The location is great. Access to the tube, high end shopping, great restaurants and total convenience

Very central location to sites and tube stations. Free wifi only in the lobby/lounge and limited to one hour use at a time - need to retrieve a new user id and password after each hour. 3 computers in business center and settings on the computer prevented access to certain websites including airline's website for check-in. Staff, however, were very nice and accommodating. Front desk clerk allowed me to check-in and print my boarding pass from her computer. Maintenance team not so good -- drain in the bath was clogged and would fill up with water immediately so you are stuck standing in a tub of water. Called for service after the first night, but never got fixed during my 3 nights at the hotel. Air vent made loud ticking noise if running above 21C so could not have air on while sleeping - also reported but was not fixed.

The Cavendish is a quiet, understated hotel offering the best in terms of location and quality of service. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Although the rooms are a little small the hotel is excellent value for money.The breakfast was extensive and prepared well. I can highly recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Fabulous hotel, near Piccadilly Square, within walking distance of all major sites in London.

Great hotel and location. One comment, I ordered a car for the airport and specifically requested a sedan and not a van. At the last minute they put me in a van with the only choice being a taxi. This was a disappointment for a hotel that boasts excellent customer service.

Having just returned from 2 nights at the cavendish, I'm looking to book again. Its a elegant yet contemporary hotel. The welcome you receive on checking in is very warm. rooms are beautifully decorated. pillows and bedding sooo comfortable. breakfasts were to die for. location is unbeatable, its right in the centre of town yet still seems peaceful.
