Zurich Marriott Hotel - زيورخ

Excellent Location. Great Staff support. Arrived early and we were graciously accomodated with a room. Staff supported us on great recommendations for restaurants.

Let me just list things I remember: Stayed during New Years Eve. Popular hotel for the event. -very clean and comfortable!! -bathroom floor is heated -bedding is excellent -internet is not free, additional fee -staff is friendly and informative -surrounding area is nice and very close by train station (about 5-6 minutes walking distance) -the food at hotel is ok...i dont feel the food is of value for your money. i ate at the bar.

Quite decent hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast. Great for visits for business purposes. My advise for those who comes for visiting and shopping: choose a hotel closer to shopping area, if you're not on a business trip and don't have a driver - you have to walk 10-15 min from tram stop with your shopping packages.

This hotel has a dicso open until 3am. At least when I stayed here, there were people clubing all the way to 3am. If you want to sleep go somewhere else.

We stayed at the Marriott on the last night of a European honeymoon. The hotel is only a short walk from the train station. After seeing photos of the property I requested a room at the front of the hotel and we were given a room with a spectacular view of the river, the Bahnhofhaus area and the lake. Coincidentally, I had gotten recommendations from local friends for a typically Swiss restaurant and several of them recommended Echo -- one of the hotel's restaurants. The meal there was outstanding and, with a special they were running, reasonably priced (for Zurich). The staff is friendly, multilingual and works hard to make your stay pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel and I will go out of my way to stay there again when I am again in Zurich....

The hotel is located few meters away from Downtown. It is clean and conforatable. I have faced few issues with some features in the room which were immediately resolved after a phone call

Nice hotel in a good location but extremely overpriced even for Switzerland. About a 15 minute walk to the center of town, but not much around the hotel itself. Especially for food and the hotels restaurant was expensive. Also the internet was not working in the rooms.

If you want a hotel in Zurich that is modern and comfortable and which isn't disturbed by trams and late night revellers, the Marriot is for you. Staff friendly and efficient (of course, this is Switzerland) and the breakfast is very good. Ask the chef for your eggs over-easy and see a class feat of flipping! A short walk to the station, but you might need an umbrella!

Eventhough the hotel is a bit far from city center, overall i rate the hotel as a B+ due to the service & quite neighbourhood

The room too small but great service & awesome breakfast.

We began our stay in Switzerland at the Marriott in Zurich. It was a 5 minute walk to the train station along the river and very pleasant. Staff was helpful and responsive. Room was roomy for many hotels in Europe and since there were three of us, that was a big bonus. Comfortable beds, though the room was a bit warm for at least one of us.

The hotel is close to the train station (5-10 minutes walk) but a bit far from the best spots. If we were to go back, although the hotel itself is very clean and comfortable, we would chose another establishment.

Got a good deal through Hotel.com, otherwise would not have booked it as it would have been very expensive. The room was cold and we couldn't get it warmer despite turning the thermostat up full.

The hotel is nice, albeit a little expensive. However, it is in Zurich so we weren't expecting affordable. However, we only made 1 request at check-in - please do NOT place in a room next to guests with kids. I know that they don't know who is in every room - so I'm not faulting them when our neighbors ended up having the loudest kids EVER! My problem was when we called the front desk and asked for a new room. They were SLOW to act - in fact, it took 1 HOUR before we got a new room. We had to call back 3 times to get the request pushed thru; it was just met with an "too bad" attitude. After touring all day from 5am with a group FULL of kids, we wanted a good night's rest. We checked in at 8:30pm and didn't get a new room unitl close to 10pm!! Sigh - for all that money, I was expecting quick service! The good side - the White Elephant restaurant (Asain restaurant downstairs) is SUPERB! I hope I have the name right, but we gladly forked over 100 francs (that's right - 100 francs!) for their meal. It was worth it!

We travelled by train and the hotel is located a short walk from the train station. The room and hotel were beautiful and comfortable and perfect for our stay. Area was a nice walk to the old town area and the river. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The breakfast was great, the fitness facility (yes, it was actually fully equiped) was great, the room was large and modern and the location was perfect (on the river). I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. The only con is that the price was pretty high but you're paying for all the things I just listed. I've stayed in pricier hotels that didn't even come close to the experience we had. Great job Marriott!

Great for business and vacation travelers. Hotel is in a central location on the river with beautiful views. Fitness facility was great for European hotel standards. Rooms very modern, room, clean and comfortable. Great buffet breakfast. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Not cheap but neither is Zurich!

Avoid getting the rooms with windows facing the street (east side). The side facing the river will be better.

pay special attention to the hotels description for facilities available...when asking for direction to swimming pool,we were told that people sometimes swim in the river across the road so we felt we were generally mislead by hotels webpage photos...that said...the hotel is a handy walk into town,we did not eat there-quite expensive,but it was sufficient as a place to lay your head after the day...all in all i dont think id return though

An excellent hotel in a good central location offering a high level of service a nd comfort.

hieman sivussa vanhasta kaupungista ja ostosalueista. raitiovaunut ja bussit eivät kulje ihan vierestä, joten varaudu noin 10 min kävelyyn esim. rautatieasemalle

Personal sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich - schade, das Internet nicht inclusive ist (Standardzimmer) Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu meckern.

Detta mariott håller inte vanlig mariott klass. En conceige som inte vet något om resturanger(fick en utskriven lista på resturanger) och en Houskeeping som bara bäddar, En!! engelsk film i sortimetet. Hade det varit ett 3 stjärnigt hotell hade jag varit nöjd men inte nu.

O Hotel é ótimo, super bem localizado, mas eu tinha certeza que teria uma vista linda. Como fiquei em um quarto dos fundos a vista não era o que eu tinha imaginado. Se tivesse um bar ou restaurante no último andar seria maravilhoso!

酒店尽管离火车站不远，但还是要打的才行。门童，行李员是西藏人，聊天了解到的。客人阿拉伯人很多，喜欢美式酒店。酒店地方大，房间也大，比较商务化。早餐最好，很丰富，有热菜供应，服务人员有近10名，还有华人服务员。上网不免费。 出酒店沿利马特河走两个街区，就可去老城，或穿过酒店对面的小花园，直接进入火车站，从火车站正门走出去，就是苏黎世的著名步行街了（Bahnhof Str.)。火车站下有很多商店，超市，周末营业。

Bei den hohen Preisen muss der Internet zugang kostenfrei sein wie heute bei vielen - auch kleineren Hotels der Fall. Was Sie verlangen ist "schröpfen" der Gäste nachdem sie sich für M entschieden haben - ich werde das künftig hzuvor klären und erst dann als alter US M - Kunde wieder kommen wenn das geändert ist.

Dette hotellet har jeg bodd på mange ganger. Det er meget bra. Flotte rom, nydelig frokost og meget bra betjening i resepsjonen. Hotellet ligger perfekt til - lett å finne - når man kommer med leiebil fra Flyplassen. Ligger meget sentralt til. Bare helt toppp

O hotel oferece shuttle e e muito bom. Eles apenas deveriam deixar o aeroporto mais informado, pois houve confusao quanto ao local. fui do terminal 1 ao 3 e qdo cheguei la disseram que era no 1. No final era no 3.

チューリッヒの中央駅から近いと思っていたが、それほど近くは無かった。 高層ビルだが隣接するレストランの音楽が聞こえ、深夜までうるさかった。 ５つ星のわりに、バスタブもなく、簡易ベットも小さく狭く ３つ星以下のホテルと変わりなかった。

Das einzig Gute war, dass wir das Zimmer schon Vormittags beziehen konnten, da meine Frau einen Bandscheibenvorfall hatte und liegen musste. Ansonsten: Kein Service! Keine Wärmflaschen im Hotel, kein Feuerzeuggas vorrätig, zudem war im Zimmer nebenan das Housekeeping, durch die Verbindungstür war es so laut im Zimmer, dass man kaum schlafen konnte, da die Türen dauernd laut ins Schloss fielen. Man wohnte wie in einer Trommel. Der Zustand des Badezimmerswar ebenfalls nicht 5-Sterne: Alte Armaturen, Warmwasser erst nach 3 Minuten etc. 5 Sterne hat das Mariott keinesfalls verdient.
