MY girlfriends and I go out downtown every couple months and it is so convenient to just get a room at the Renaissance. It's right next to the casino and it's a quick cab ride to the downtown restaurants and clubs. Then we check out tower city the next day.

We stayed at the Renaissance Cleveland over St. Patty's Day. I was extremely impressed with how clean and quiet the hotel was dispite the festivities going on outside. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and accomodating. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get up in the morning. I was further impressed that all of their hotel soaps, shampoos and such were Aveda products. The only drawback to our room was the absence of a small refridgerator. Otherwise this hotel was an excellent choice for our stay.

The hotel was very nice. All staff very polite and willing to assist in every need. Hotel restaurant excellent food and service. It was a very enjoyable stay, I would recommend highly to friends!

The hotel is a beautiful historic hotel but can use a refresher. The hotel smelled old and like febreeze, the bathroom needed updating and the toilet seat was stained from bleach use, it needed replacing. Overall it looked nice but new carpeting and fixture replacement could help. The bed was comfortable and nice linens

I booked the hotel for a casino trip. I think it would have been worth the $6 more for valet parking, as it was a bit of a walk from the parking deck, into the hotel (All enclosed in the parking deck, but when you're carrying luggage, it was a hassle) The hotel was gorgeous and connected to tower city for some walking around and browsing the stores, we also grabbed a quick bite in the food court. It was also connected to the casino, which was convenient for when we just wanted a short break, we could head back up to the room, make a drink, relax for an hour or so, then head back down for more gambling. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. The other only complaint I'd have, is our room overlooked the pool, and there was just that loud echo of kids yelling and splashing and you could hear it loud and clear. I paid extra for the 'stay for breakfast' which was well worth it! the buffet was phenomenal!

We stayed overnight to gamble at Cleveland's Horseshoe Casino. We had a wonderful time both at the hotel and at the casino. Both are beautiful and comfortable. We were able to cross through Tower City Mall straight to the casino without going outside, which was helpful in winter in CLE. We added the breakfast to our package. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and was served in a lovely area overlooking Public Square. We'll certainly go again!

Hotel in downtown Cleveland connected to Horseshoe Casino and within walking distance to multitude of restaurants and nightlife. Hotel is older but has charm. Service was nice but it was Xmas time and they didn't want to be there. Room very comfortable but ask for outside room since interior faces atrium and you can hear pool noise.

The location is great, being right in the middle of downtown and directly connected to great shopping, dining, and the casino. The building inside is classic and gorgeous. The rooms were a strange mix of modern (nice tv's, modern amenities) and outdated (the heating/cooling units were separate and nearly impossible to regulate). Overall it was a great experience.

Pricey

Nice hotel in the cities center. What's best is everything its connected to this hotel: Casino Mall Hard rock Restaurant Old hotel we had a horrible view and the room was hot. We like the character and the location. We will stay again but the Arcada hotel a block away was nicer. Location, location, Iocation.

The service was good, but they were unable to accommodate our request for 1 king size bed. So we ended up with 2 queen beds on our "romantic" getaway.

Hotel was great - clean, friendly staff and great location for downtown. Only complaint was the room was on the small side.

I think the room layout was a little strange. The TV was on a stand 15 feet from the bed. However the cleanliness was great and the convenience of the casino being a walk indoors was fantastic!

I was very pleased with my stay. My room very comfortable for two adults and two children.

It's in walking distance to lots, but over priced.

First time in Cleveland, an enjoyable trip and stay at the hotel.

You can't beat the location for access to shopping, the casino and sports venues. Parking was difficult, valet was packed and it's quite a hike from the self park because one set of elevators was out of service. We were told parking would be $12/day but were charged $24/day.

check-in girl seemed slow. she couldnt get it through her head that we were staying and had paid for two nights, not one. the 2nd night of our stay security knocked on our door at 2:30am and asked us to be quiet - this was clearly a case of mistaken identity, as we had just got off of the elevator 10 minutes prior where we had encountered a loud group of 10-15 people who we were not associated. also, found a lot of hair in the bath tub that was clearly not ours. overall, i found the staff to be of a sub-par level of common sense. great location.

Location of Hotel is great centrally located downtown and connected to Horseshoe Casino. I was a little disappointed in the size of the room and the dated bathrooms. Especially since when you walk into the hotel lobby it is very nice to say the least. But overall I think I would go back...

It met and exceeded every expectation. What a wonderful hotel.

we enjoy it alot

The phone in our room didn't work and we had to wait in long lines to check in.

Located between West 6th and East 4th St areas so there are tons of bars/restaurants within walking distance. Browns Stadium is within walking distance. The Horseshoe Casino is attached. Park your car and you have no need to drive anywhere. They did have a problem finding our reservations so be sure you bring your confirmation paperwork.

The room was small, there wasn't a fan in the bathroom so the entire room steamed up after a shower. The air conditioner barely let out any cold air and when we did have the tv on the cable kept going in and out. I've stayed in better hotels for half the price.

Perfect location, newly renovated, great hotel service

THIS WAS THE FIRST ROOM I BOOKED ANYWHERE THAT THE 2 BEDS REQUESTED WERE NOT AVAILABLE. IT WAS BOOKED A MONTH BEFORE OUR TRIP AND WE HAD NO IDEA THE 2 BEDS ARE ONLY IF AVAILABLE. THE HOTEL DID SUPPLY A COT - WHICH WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT WHEN YOU ARE EXPECTING THE COMFORT OF A BED. EVEYTHING ELSE AT THIS HOTEL WAS EXCEPTIONAL - JUST A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT WITH THE BEDS.

The renovated 96-year-old hotel was in a great location. The only things wrong was the tiny pool (pool is important for my hotel stays) and bathrooms were small and antiquated. Otherwise, I would recommend it highly.

Needs updating, especially the bathrooms, but still pretty nice and comfy.

The rooms were clean and the location was perfect. The digital channels on the TV were not watchable due to the constant freezing
