Great hotel & location. Beautiful rooms. Excellent breakfast . They could Improve on providing more information on local attractions and services.

We have stayed in the hotel for 2 nights last week. There was no aircondition- we open the window and had a sleepless 2 nights with a lot of muscitos and noise.Breakfast was very poor. Its a shame because it is a very nice hotel, nice rooms,free parking , clean,and very nice staff- but they couldnt help us! We have been told that the government doesnt alow to turn on the air condition...?! But the you have to pay the city tax!

We stayed two nights in April 2012. Hotel room was modern, clean and very comfortable especially the bed. The staff were very helpful and we had a good continental breakfast to start our day. The hotel is about a 10 euro taxi trip from the central railway station but only a 1.2 Euro bus trip (No 22 bus - 10 mins). A good base to explore Florence, would stay here again.

Chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the airport (early morning flight). In hindsight this was a mistake - there's nothing around the hotel, the wifi is expensive and slow and the whole place feels a bit soulless. If you're looking for somewhere close to the airport I'd recommend staying in downtown Florence - by cab it's only 10mins further than this hotel but you'll have a better stay. The front desk staff were also looked inconvenienced when we asked for anything - like a wake-up call or cab. There are better places.

Very comfortable and clean excellent value for money. There was a wide choice for breakfast.It was extremely easy to get into the centre of Florence using the bus that stops right outside the hotel - couldn't be easier. The free parking at the hotel was a bonus as we didn't have to worry about our hire car. The hotel staff were very helpful when all our valuables got locked in the faulty room safe and couldn't be accessed! They called out an engineer and all was resolved - they were most apologetic.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was very helpful and the room was beautifully appointed. I was sorry that I could enjoy the comfort for only one night. The neighborhood is not very inspiring if one wants to stroll in the vicinity. The hotel is relatively close to the airport which is convenient if one has to catch an early flight.

After getting married in Tuscany and honymooning on the Amalfi Coast and seeing the sights of Rome, we booked this hotel knowing it was convenient as far as the airport location was concerned. The hotel was very clean and provided an excellent continental breakfast each morning. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the center of Florence and the free shuttle that takes you downtown was a huge plus. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

This was an excellent choice for a quick weekend getaway. Just 15 mins from the airport so it didn't matter that we arrived at 11pm at night or that we had to be at the airport by 7 am to leave. Easy to get to the City Centre either by the shuttle or bus 22 which leaves from right outside the hotel. The fact that there was a nice supermarket close by meant we didn't have to buy expensive gifts in the normal tourist traps. There is a beautiful park with delightful water features just opposite. Its a lovely way to rewind after a day's sightseeing. The breakfast could be improved though.

I stay at Starhotels when I can for business and pleasure in Italy. This particular stay had issues with breakfast. They just weren't prepared to handle the tour group that stayed at the hotel when they all came in for breakfast at onetime. They ran out of food, plates and silverware. They knew they were coming but were not prepared. Other than that it is a wonderful hotel.

The hotel was not anywhere near Rome as described...it is located a short walk from the Tivoli Terme train station. Note that it is not located in Tivoli which is quite a distance further down the line. Once we arrived (April), we realized why the price was so inexpensive...the famous thermal baths were closed and the hotel was deserted. Nevertheless, the staff had trouble figuring out the wakeup call situation and spoke poor English...But all is not doom and gloom. The restaurant across the street from the hotel (Thomassino) offered excellent regional cuisine at a very affrodable price. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed dining at the restaurant every night...it had a family feel to it and we highly recommend it. The hotel...so-so...not horrible but not great.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and very convenient to the city center by bus. Bus #22 picked us up & dropped us off right across the street from the hotel. Drop off in the city center was one block from the Republic Plaza in the old city. Breakfast was a mix of European & American food and plenty was provided. We ate dinner one evening which provided a menu with an extensive selection. Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous and parking was free.

When I checked in, the hotel had everything on file and knew I was coming, which was great. The front desk staff also spoke great English, which is always a plus when you are traveling abroad. The only thing that annoyed me was that they charged me 30 more Euro fper night for the room since I had my two sons with me, ages 2 and 3. Apparently it doesn't matter how old the babies are, if you are traveling with more than one child no matter the age, you will be charged an extra person fee. But we were upgraded to an awesome room, with an AMAZING bathroom and bed. It was more money in the end, but worth it. The parking was free as advertised and was easily accessable on either side of the hotel. They had internet available for 11.5 euro per 24 hrs, which worked great as well. They do not have a wireless internet system, but they provide you with a cable at the front desk if you do not bring one with you. The free breakfast was also great, typical European spread with assorted fruits, cheeses, meats, breads, and coffee. The number 22 bus stop is also just adjacent to the hotel, which stops at the central train station in Florence. It took us less than 15 minutes to get to the historic areas via the bus, very easy to use and the front desk sells the bus tickets, which makes life a lot easier.

Great hotel near the airport. Everything was perfect from checkin to checkout. Very nice breakfast and very accommodating staff! A real STAR!

A very comfortable hotel, very clean with air conditioning, free parking for your car. Outside the walls of old florence but excellent if you are looking for a hotel where you can leave your car without paying for parking. Breakfast is ok but not fantastic. WIFI is not free but hey offer the service. In our case we needed a hotel like this to be able to do day trips to surrounding cities like Volterra and Siena, so it was very convenient. I definetley go back, the staff was very nice to us all the time.

The hotel was nice and the service was as expected. The room was clean and nice with modern furniture. The only thing with this hotel is that it is 10 - 25 minutes (depending on traffic) from the city center via bus, but the buses run regularly and on schedule. One night we were tired and we dined at the hotel's restaurant and had a very good experience. I would stay here again.

We stayed only one night-the night before we came home. The hotel was in great condition. We got a free upgrade which is something I have never experienced with any other booking service-ususally you get the room by the elevator or icemaker. Our only issue was we were not into an expensive hotel dinner and on a Sunday evening in this neighborhood not much is open. Would stay there or any of this chain again.

Very good clean Hotel- just outside city centre. Good selection for Breakfast including Egg and Bacon . Helpful English speaking staff. Free Parking well worth the short Bus ride into centre. Esay to find if coming from Airport

Everything is so good when I stay in this hotel, supermarket just behind the hotel, Bus stop to city centre is in front of hotel. The only point I suggest the hotel to improve is the shuttle bus service, the bus is so small to cater 8 persons each time and the pick up point of the train station is far away from station and hard to find.

Very clean and friendly staff, incredible breakfast included in price.

We stayed here the night before leaving Florence and it was quite convenient to the airport. The rooms were well appointed and very clean, and the breakfast buffet was extensive and tasty. The hotel clerk directed us to an excellent local informal Trattoria (Mi Amor) for dinner, one of the best we had on our trip. Except for that place, the neighborhood is not suited for tourists.

Buena estancia, un poco lejos pero con bus cerca no hubo problemas, en general bien.

O Hotel é impecável, muito bem decorado e bonito, o serviço é muito bom, o aspecto ruim foi que o ar condicionado não estava ligando e o atendente disse que era proibido pelo governo na época da hospedagem (mas em Veneza e Milão estavam funcionando normalmente) a localização para quem esta de carro é muito boa por causa do estacionamento e ônibus na porta para centro histórico, mas esta afastado do centro histórico e não tem bons restaurantes na região.

Muito bom hotel. Atendentes atenciosos e ótimo café da manhã.

Excelente hotel, muito confortável, estacionamento gratuito, excelente café da manhã, contudo um pouco distante do centro histórico; ressaltando que o hotel oferece serviço de transfer gratuito, e o ônibus é na porta!!!

Hotel posizionato poco fuori dal centro; Santa Maria Novella è raggiungibile facilmente con i mezzi pubblici o con la navetta dell'hotel. Struttura molto ben curata, camere pulite, servizi di buon livello, staff cordiale e disponibilissimo. Consigliato e sicuramente prima scelta per un prossimo soggiorno a Firenze.

门口就有车去市中心。后面有一家大超市，里面可以买很多吃的，比餐厅吃的还好。

Hotel ´muito bom, com um quarto excelente em excelente estado de consevação e um bom café da manhã. Tem garagem gratuita para quem está de carro. Um grande supermercado ao lado do hotel o que ajuda bastante para compras básicas. Ponto de ônibus na frente do hotel o que facilita bastante o ida até o cntro histórico por estar fora do mesmo. Leva mais ou menos 10 minutos de ônibus até as principais atrações. O hotel fornece também transporte gratuito mas somente em alguns horários.

Hôtel moderne non loin de Florence Nouveau bâtiment et chambres confortables et de belles dimensions. Hôtel situé loin du centre-ville dans un quartier peu animé (pas de restaurants), mais une navette est disponible et les bus de la ville passent aux 10 minutes (arrêt en face de l’hôtel). Petit déjeuner buffet décevant, par comparaison avec les hôtels de même catégorie. Dans cet hôtel (comme dans plusieurs hôtels à Florence), l’Internet dans les chambres est payant et relativement cher; sinon il est gratuit – pour une durée limitée – dans le salon près de la réception.

Hotel com quarto amplo e confortável, cafe da manhã bom, pessoal da recepção muito gentil, estacionamento grátis, fácil transporte publico para área histórica de Florença. Recomendamos como uma boa opção de hospedagem.

Superfresht hotel med nydelige rom og fantastiske senger. Det går direkte buss til Firenze sentrum rett utenfor hotellet som var genialt. Parkering var det også for alle gjester som var viktig for oss da vi hadde leiebil. Bor her gjerne igjen.

El Hotel es fantástico y muy bonito, la gente que te atiende maravillosa. Cuidan muy bien todos los detalles. Tienen un servicio de furgoneta gratuito al centro de Florencia. Merece la pena alojarse en este hotel.

Hotel muy correcto. Cómodo y limpio. Estuvimos 5 noches y quedamos plenamente satisfechos. El personal es muy amable y nos orientó sobre las visitas turísticas, etc. Está alejado del centro de la ciudad, pero hay una parada de autobús junto a la puerta del hotel, y el trayecto se hace en 10-15 minutos. Parking gratuito (exterior). Desayuno completo y variado. Al lado hay un hipermercado bien abastecido. Lo recomendamos por su calidad-precio.

Con Starhotel te aseguras de tener una opción cómoda y segura. No son hoteles excelentes, pero su precio es muy competitivo y la calidad y atención del personal es muy buena; hablán español o al menos lo intentan; la ubicación es buena, pues la línea 22 está en la puerta y te deja a 200 m. del Duomo en 15 minutos. Posee WIFI Y parking gratuito y si no quedan plazas, puedes aparcar fuera del hotel sin problemas, no es zona de pago y es segura. A la espalda tienes un supermercado que abre de 8 a 20 h. El desayuno buffet no es variado ni de excesiva calidad, pero es apañado para unos pocos días. Habitación limpia, amplia, con aire acondicionado, armario espacioso, varias amenities y caja fuerte y pantalla plana (puedes ver el canal internacional de TVE). Una opción muy recomendable en Florencia.
