The room was designed in stylish way. It was clean, but compact especially the shower. The breakfast was good and the bus stops were very near. They provide umbrellas for customers in rainy day. There is a super market right behind of the hotel. Overall, it is a very good hotel to stay. Florence was much more urbanized than I thought. There were a lot of cars, buses and people. Some people told me that Florence is pretty. In my opinion, it is a city like may others.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, mainly for the proximity to the airport. The hotel was clean and a high standard of service. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. The location of the hotel is in a industrialized part of the city, and getting to the tourist sites has to be done by taxi or bus . It Is in no way within walking distance of the main attractions.

Stayed only one night before flying out. Convenient to the airport but farther away from central Florence. The room was clean and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby area otherwise there was a charge for Wi-Fi in your room.

I LOVED this hotel! It was clean, and modern and was AMAZINGLY sound-proofed. You'd never know you were on a busy road! Only downside, it's a bit far from the City Center, (Duomo etc), but that was known previously, so not really a bad thing. Hotel staff was really really helpful and spoke English really well, which was a very nice bonus for those of us who can't speak Italian. DEFINITELY reccommend!!

The price of the hotel was about half of what one would pay to stay in the center of Florence. I am very picky when it come to cleanliness and I thought the hotel was very clean. The hotel staff were excellent and service was great. The hotel location was okay . If you want to get to the center of Florence you must take a bus or taxi. We did not go into Florence we stayed at the hotel because of it's proximity to the airport. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant. Did not eat dinner at the restaurant, but the breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety.

I was welcomed to the hotel by very friendly front desk employees. Their willingness to help me enjoy my visit in Florence was greatly appreciated.

We stayed 5 days in starhotel tuscan. It was a nice hotel in a nice area. Near the hotel there is a supermarket and in front of the hotel is a bustop that takes you to the centre. The hotel has a shuttle bus that takes you for free to the centre and we used this service many times while we sateyd. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was polite and the breakfast limited but nice.

Great hotel, bus stop to centre stops right outside. Staff were welcoming, courteous and very helpful. Check in and out was quick. The room was a good size, with stylish decor, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast selection was good and made for a great start to a day of sightseeing. Will definitely be staying here again if returning to Florence and would recommend Starhotels Tuscany to friends and family.

Super hotel, room was lovely, big and very clean. Reception staff very courteous and helpful, as were all the staff. Room had everything including minibar, tea and coffee, free wifi in reception/public area. Booked through a webtrawler and got a good price for bed and breakfast. Ten minutes bus ride to Florence, stop right outside the hotel. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and if returning to Florence will be staying here again.

A one hour walk or crowded city bus ride to the center of Florence but the desk clerks were extremely helpful and professional. Great breakfast!

I still think that wifi should be included in all the hotel

The hotel itself is excellent. It's very clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would say however that it is a bit too far from the city centre to be convenient for a short trip. We took the city bus mostly. It's very frequent but takes about 20 minutes to get into town. A taxi will cost about 15 euros. The breakfast is provided by the hotel and is adequate. We ate in the restaurant one evening. It was ok but a bit pricey.

The hotel was located very far from city center, which was OK, as bus travel to & for was free, but still time consuming. Rooms were OK, little smaller than we expexted. Staff were courtous and helpful. Breakfast was free in the morning and was amazing/best part of our stay. Overall a good hotel. I would give it 4/5

when we arrived we were immediately offerred to transfer down to their sister hotel the Michaelangelo (closer to downtown florence), don't know why? overbooked? anyway we went to the Michaelangelo and where I had requested (as per the room description on hotels.com) a room with a double and a single bed, we got a room with one queen size bed. ( the first room offerred was in front of the elevators!) upon settling in, it was a fairly convenient walk to everything touristy. Breakfast was included and on the first morning there was a woman in charge of the dining room who was yelling at all the staff ( behind closed doors however you couldn't miss her yelling...one of the other guests got up and told her to shut up!) she was quickly replaced and never seen again...anyway overall a clean and well situated hotel, I would shop around however before going back...hope this helps someone..

Great hotel & location. Beautiful rooms. Excellent breakfast . They could Improve on providing more information on local attractions and services.

We have stayed in the hotel for 2 nights last week. There was no aircondition- we open the window and had a sleepless 2 nights with a lot of muscitos and noise.Breakfast was very poor. Its a shame because it is a very nice hotel, nice rooms,free parking , clean,and very nice staff- but they couldnt help us! We have been told that the government doesnt alow to turn on the air condition...?! But the you have to pay the city tax!

We stayed two nights in April 2012. Hotel room was modern, clean and very comfortable especially the bed. The staff were very helpful and we had a good continental breakfast to start our day. The hotel is about a 10 euro taxi trip from the central railway station but only a 1.2 Euro bus trip (No 22 bus - 10 mins). A good base to explore Florence, would stay here again.

Chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the airport (early morning flight). In hindsight this was a mistake - there's nothing around the hotel, the wifi is expensive and slow and the whole place feels a bit soulless. If you're looking for somewhere close to the airport I'd recommend staying in downtown Florence - by cab it's only 10mins further than this hotel but you'll have a better stay. The front desk staff were also looked inconvenienced when we asked for anything - like a wake-up call or cab. There are better places.

Very comfortable and clean excellent value for money. There was a wide choice for breakfast.It was extremely easy to get into the centre of Florence using the bus that stops right outside the hotel - couldn't be easier. The free parking at the hotel was a bonus as we didn't have to worry about our hire car. The hotel staff were very helpful when all our valuables got locked in the faulty room safe and couldn't be accessed! They called out an engineer and all was resolved - they were most apologetic.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was very helpful and the room was beautifully appointed. I was sorry that I could enjoy the comfort for only one night. The neighborhood is not very inspiring if one wants to stroll in the vicinity. The hotel is relatively close to the airport which is convenient if one has to catch an early flight.

After getting married in Tuscany and honymooning on the Amalfi Coast and seeing the sights of Rome, we booked this hotel knowing it was convenient as far as the airport location was concerned. The hotel was very clean and provided an excellent continental breakfast each morning. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the center of Florence and the free shuttle that takes you downtown was a huge plus. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

This was an excellent choice for a quick weekend getaway. Just 15 mins from the airport so it didn't matter that we arrived at 11pm at night or that we had to be at the airport by 7 am to leave. Easy to get to the City Centre either by the shuttle or bus 22 which leaves from right outside the hotel. The fact that there was a nice supermarket close by meant we didn't have to buy expensive gifts in the normal tourist traps. There is a beautiful park with delightful water features just opposite. Its a lovely way to rewind after a day's sightseeing. The breakfast could be improved though.

I stay at Starhotels when I can for business and pleasure in Italy. This particular stay had issues with breakfast. They just weren't prepared to handle the tour group that stayed at the hotel when they all came in for breakfast at onetime. They ran out of food, plates and silverware. They knew they were coming but were not prepared. Other than that it is a wonderful hotel.

The hotel was not anywhere near Rome as described...it is located a short walk from the Tivoli Terme train station. Note that it is not located in Tivoli which is quite a distance further down the line. Once we arrived (April), we realized why the price was so inexpensive...the famous thermal baths were closed and the hotel was deserted. Nevertheless, the staff had trouble figuring out the wakeup call situation and spoke poor English...But all is not doom and gloom. The restaurant across the street from the hotel (Thomassino) offered excellent regional cuisine at a very affrodable price. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed dining at the restaurant every night...it had a family feel to it and we highly recommend it. The hotel...so-so...not horrible but not great.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and very convenient to the city center by bus. Bus #22 picked us up & dropped us off right across the street from the hotel. Drop off in the city center was one block from the Republic Plaza in the old city. Breakfast was a mix of European & American food and plenty was provided. We ate dinner one evening which provided a menu with an extensive selection. Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous and parking was free.

When I checked in, the hotel had everything on file and knew I was coming, which was great. The front desk staff also spoke great English, which is always a plus when you are traveling abroad. The only thing that annoyed me was that they charged me 30 more Euro fper night for the room since I had my two sons with me, ages 2 and 3. Apparently it doesn't matter how old the babies are, if you are traveling with more than one child no matter the age, you will be charged an extra person fee. But we were upgraded to an awesome room, with an AMAZING bathroom and bed. It was more money in the end, but worth it. The parking was free as advertised and was easily accessable on either side of the hotel. They had internet available for 11.5 euro per 24 hrs, which worked great as well. They do not have a wireless internet system, but they provide you with a cable at the front desk if you do not bring one with you. The free breakfast was also great, typical European spread with assorted fruits, cheeses, meats, breads, and coffee. The number 22 bus stop is also just adjacent to the hotel, which stops at the central train station in Florence. It took us less than 15 minutes to get to the historic areas via the bus, very easy to use and the front desk sells the bus tickets, which makes life a lot easier.

Great hotel near the airport. Everything was perfect from checkin to checkout. Very nice breakfast and very accommodating staff! A real STAR!

A very comfortable hotel, very clean with air conditioning, free parking for your car. Outside the walls of old florence but excellent if you are looking for a hotel where you can leave your car without paying for parking. Breakfast is ok but not fantastic. WIFI is not free but hey offer the service. In our case we needed a hotel like this to be able to do day trips to surrounding cities like Volterra and Siena, so it was very convenient. I definetley go back, the staff was very nice to us all the time.

The hotel was nice and the service was as expected. The room was clean and nice with modern furniture. The only thing with this hotel is that it is 10 - 25 minutes (depending on traffic) from the city center via bus, but the buses run regularly and on schedule. One night we were tired and we dined at the hotel's restaurant and had a very good experience. I would stay here again.

Helt ok hotell. Ligger lite utanför men är bra när man skall ta sig till flygplatsen. frächt, frukosten var i minsta laget men helt okej det med.

Estadia bastante agradável. recepcionistas simpáticas, profissionais, disponíveis e efecazes.Pequenoa almoços óptimos para um hotel de 4 estrelas. Quartos confortáveis e sossegados. Acesso fácil a transportes públicos. A garagem devia ser maior e vigiada.

２日間滞在しました。他の方も書かれているように、駅から少し離れているのですが、バスを利用すれば問題なく過ごす事が出来ます（２２番のバスなのですが、駅からだと２２番でホテルと違う方面に行くバスもあります。最初はタクシーで行って、ホテルのスタッフに確認するのが良いかも・・・）。たまたま？なのか、日本語を少し話せるスタッフの方がいて、その面でも大変助かりました。部屋は新しくて清潔で、ベッドも（予約の時点でオーダーしましたが）ちゃんとツインになっており、部屋もカードキーで操作、シャワーも温水が充分に出る、と、イライラするような事がなかったです。朝食も特別なものではないけれども充分で、美味しく頂きました（カプチーノはスタッフの方にお願いすると、入れて頂けますよ）。本当に、快適に過ごす事が出来ました。ありがとうございます。

Esta distante del centro pero hay movilización cercana. Buen hotel y atención agradable.

É um bom hotel, sem muita vocação turística. Três elevadores excelentes, um quarto limpo, amplo e confortável com ótimo banheiro. O tapete do quarto estava bastante gasto, assim como os móveis do hotel em geral, que aparentam uns vinte anos de uso e , embora estejam em bom estado, já merecem uma reforma. O café da manhã é bom. O jantar pareceu pretensioso e sem graça, ao meu paladar. Está situado em uma região moderna, a uma distância confortável do aeroporto e da estação de trem, em frente a um parque público e próximo ao prédio da Justiça local, com dois bons supermercados por perto. Para o turista, está um pouco longe do centro histórico, a uns doze euros de taxi, se não for extorquido por um taxista desonesto, chamado pelo hotel, que, no domingo, sete de abril, às 11 horas de manhã, acrescentou mais cinco euros, à título de taxa de chamada, embora o ponto de taxi estivesse vizinho ao hotel. Quando reclamei na recepção do hotel, o funcionário se mostrou indiferente, embora se tratasse de um taxi chamado pelo próprio.

깨끗하고 무난하였음. 다만 중심지에서 버스로 15분 정도 떨어졌다는거와 약간 어두운 분위기만 빼면 다 좋음. 그리고 와이파이는 30분만 무료. 콘센트는 변환기가 있어야함.

Helt topp hotell! Nytt og fint, store rom, god service, nydelig frokost(som ikke er vanlig alle plasser i Italia), bodde bare 1 natt, men kun 10 min fra flyplassen. Bor her gjenre igjen om vi skal tilbake til Firenze!

Excelente hotel considerando o custo-benefício de Firenze. Os únicos comentários negativos são sobre o café, um pouco fraco comparado a outros hotéis da Itália do mesmo nível e a tv do quarto obsoleta em relação a outros hotéis, mas como ninguém viaja para assistir tv então recomendo.
