It was very close to the Verizon Center which was nice for going to the Caps game. The only thing I did not like was leaving my car in the turn lane on the street waiting for the Valet to come and get. Also when we went inside the man at the front desk messed up our room and gave us a room key that belonged to the lady in front of us. The room was nice and clean but a lot smaller than the pictures I saw of it on the website, also our window faced out to a brick building. The website also said we would not be getting free breakfast in the morning, but we ended up getting it andit was very good! Overall it was a nice place to stay, especially if your going to an event at the Verizon center and don't feel like driving or metroing back home

When I got there, they had only two rooms left, a handicap-accessible, and a tiny room on the second floor. Since we were prepaid, we got the tiny room. Breakfast was fine, and location was good.

We stayed over after a Washington CAPS game at the Verizon Center. Loved the convenience, staff and especially the hot water temperature and pressure!

I booked a room on your site that was described as having "two queen beds and a sofa bed" -- there was even a photo. I have two teen sons and they refuse to sleep in the same bed, so I specifically was looking for something that would allow them each to have their own sleeping space. When we walked into our room, it had only two queen beds -- no sofa bed. I immediately called the front desk and they said that their hotel ONLY has sofa beds in their king rooms. I then asked for a cot to be brought up and they said because of the room size, a cot is a fire hazard.

Hotel was wonderful, I would definitely stay there again.

Reasonably nice hotel. Great location.

I was disappointed the the room i had for a $179plus tax ,$204 it was a handicap room with less accommodation the the other rooms i wish u was told me it was s handicap room upon checking in.

Stayed here for a concert at the Verizon Center and the location was excellent. Nice bar/restaurant on site. Room clean and comfortable.

The hotel says accessible parking...but upon checking in...valet infirmed us that their parking lot was full and we had to find our own parking blocks away and pay 30 dollars to do so! No mention of the parking issue on website...next time I will go to hampton inn...hotel was clean and room was just right..would have been nice to not haul our own luggage blocks away...disappointed to say the least

I found the staff to be helpful and friendly.

We were very pleased with all aspects! Friendly, helpful staff, and they managed to keep the place under control on New Year's eve!

We came to D.C. for a concert and I found it very confusing trying to find the hotel and a place to park. The staff was more about business than customer service. It was a great location for where I need to be, but just too busy and loud.

Very clean, great location

Staff were wonderfully helpful, hotel was clean and comfortable. Great decor...kept with Chinatown theme. Beautiful.

Served its purpose as a hotel near the DC convention center. Free wifi a plus. Would recommend upper floor room to avoid street noise.

This is a great clean hotel. Only about a block away from a metro subway station. Free breakfast in the morning was very good probably one of the best free breakfasts I have ever had. A good amount of selection including Greek yogurt. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and shower was nice. The only negative I can think of is that the Chinatown area (where the hotel is located) certainly isn't the nicest area in the city but again you are only a block away from a subway station.

My boyfriend then but now Fiancé spoke to the employees at the hotel which I didn't know about and wanted to have a romantic candle light dinner in the room because he wanted to proposed to me. Well we left then came back at 6:30pm and nothing was in the room. He called and spoke to the restaurant employees who said they forgot about it. Well regardless he did the proposal in the room and apologized that he tried to do everything perfect but it was out of his hands. We did get the food later on. By the way we heard the police sirens off and on through out the night.

The staff were without exception, very friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable. The only shortcoming: It would have been nice if a refridgerator was included in the room. Super close to a Metro station and lots of restaurants in Chinatown. Expect typical city noise.

Perfect spot to stay after a late night concert. Close to many restaurants and the subway. Only fault I could find is that the staff did not inform us that you need to swipe your room key in the elevator in order to use it. Otherwise, I would definitely stay again!

I actually enjoyed the hotel, when I was inside the room. Based on the name of the hotel, we were expecting something in downtown DC. My girlfriend and I just went for the weekend, to see some sites and try a couple restaurants. Unfortunately, the hotel was at least a 20-25 minute walk from all of the "must see" attractions (White House, monuments, museums, etc). The hotel was in Chinatown, which we weren't prepared for, so most of the surrounding businesses were take-out Chinese food places. The nearest metro station (which you need if you don't want to spend lots of cash on cabs), didn't feel very safe with no police/security presence. I'd look elsewhere and try to find something closer to the attractions.

The hotel was a very pleasant stay--room was clean and the front desk/valet were extremely professional. Valet parking ($33/night) was a little steep but is truly the only parking available, other than confusing street parking. The Chinatown metro is within walking distance. The Verizon center is also very close by. Room was very well done with bright colors and nice finishing touches. Provided standard hotel amenities, however the in-room "lock-box" traditionally found in your room is located at the front desk--personally made me feel a little uneasy.

Everybody was polite and helpful. Very nice location, close to museums and Chinatown.

Asian-themed hotel in the middle of Chinatown, just over a block from the Metro. Plenty of Asian restaurants to choose from within a block of the hotel. Hotel staff was exceedingly nice. Breakfast was solid - on par with business hotels in this class.

We wanted somewhere close to the Verizon Center so we didn't have to drive back to Richmond after a concert, and it was perfect - walked to dinner, walked to the concert and walked back to the hotel. It was easy to get to and get out of and was very nice and comfortable.

I was impressed by the excellent service and knowledge of the staff. The view from my room was amazing and this hotel was in walking distance of all the major area attractions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Great location, helpful staff. Manager even brought out his laptop to help me print out tickets for the US Capitol tour, when the lobby computer were not printing. Would have liked to know about the valet parking charge when I booked room but may have missed it.

Close to convention center. Active night life. Hood a little iffy after dark.

Great hotel, very very clean. Nicest staff ever! We had multiple requests and they took very good care of us. Outlets galore in the room, clean Asian influenced decor. Parking charge, but free breakfast and wireless. Wireless was great, both of us could be on at once! Book a suite if you can, the king bed room was a little tight. Near the Verizon Center (about two blocks) if you want to go there but they will close the roads watch out if the President does too! Six long blocks to the National Gallery of Art, Portrait Gallery and Nat'l Building Museum are even closer. Chinatown area, which means big city noise, traffic and personalities, but we felt safe both in and out of the hotel.
