Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington, DC/Downtown - واشنطن

Everyone we met was so friendly. The room was very clean and really nicely decorated. We had two queen beds and they were very comfortable. The hotel location was fantastically convenient to all of the museums and sites. The included breakfast offered so many choices from cereal, fruit, bagels, muffins, fresh waffles or even egg sandwiches. There were many juices to choose as well. We could not have asked for a better stay.

The location of the hotel is not to be beat. Convenient to the Capital District, the Verizon Center, the Metro, buses and the Gallery Place restaurants. The service was great, and the complementary breakfast was the best I've had; included oatmeal, waffles and various other additions to pastries and cereal. The staff works very hard at this hotel to make your experience the best.

My friends and I stayed at Fairfield and we were very impressed with the quality of service and friendliness of the staff. The facility looks new and is very clean. However we had a minor problem with noise at night. Our room on the 2nd floor was near the Irish Channel Pub on the street level and we could hear the music/singing all night. It was not too bad for us, so we didn't request a change of room. But this would be a problem for someone who is a light sleeper. Other than that, we give Fairfield an A+ and a big thumbs up!

I reviewed many hotels looking for an affordable stay during a conference at the convention center. Fairfield was reasonable and an easy walk away. The other reviews praising this hotel are not wrong. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The decor is pleasant, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast, which I found most hotels did not have in this price point, was extensive and very well stocked, as well as the service staff being very pleasant and eager to please. Chinatown is vibrant and busy with city life, but I never felt uncomfortable walking around, even at night. Fairfield has managed to give a very nice choice to people on a budget.

Staff was very courteous and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Room service menu a bit limited but food was good. Great location for doing business in that part of Wash DC.

This hotel is in Chinatown but don't let that fool you. The hotel was very modern, great amenities, wifi and friendly staff.

Clean, comfortable room, located in a good area with lots of restaurants and very close to Gallery - Chinatown subway.

Hotel was new and the room was clean. Staffs were very friendly. Thumbs up. Unfortunately it is located next to Chinatown which has a lot of black people around. I don't understand why there are so many black people around and hardly and Chinese in Chinatown.

great overall would recommend it. good breakfast. coffee/tea always available. only irritant were the key cards. they kept "erasing" or stopped working anyway, and kept having to go to the front desk to get them redone. apparently if you put them near your cell phone they stop working?

Wow, this hotel starts out the day right and keeps up the good service all day. We arrived in the middle of the night but were checked in efficiently. The continental breakfast is full of variety and we started off each day with a full belly, ready to tackle the sights. The attached restaurant served great pub food and we ate 2 dinners there (out of 3 nights we stayed). Upon check out, the concierge helped make sure our taxi was on its way so we were picked up with time to spare to get to the airport. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful and courteous. Oh yeah, and fresh coffee available all day in the lobby...that was great! Only negative comment would be that the computers in the lobby were slow for accessing email, but that was a pretty minor flaw compared with all the other benefits of staying here. Would definitely stay here again and tell all my friends to choose this hotel when visiting DC.

Room was small but the bed was amazing. The breakfast was good, and the location was perfect. Wonderful hotel for a little vacay to the City!

Hotel staff was friendly. The room was clean. The closet was tiny but overall I was quite pleased with the room.

This was an awesome location for attending an event at Verizon Center. Only drawback is room was on the small side. Other than that it was great. Friendly staff, very clean, room service was VERY fast. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Hotel is in an excellent location close to subway, many restaurants (Chinatown and more) in vicinity. Still walking distance to Mall, do not miss a number of interesting Museums on the way there (American Art, National Portrait Gallery, Intl. Spy Museum...). Hotel was comfortable and clean, service professional and efficient, especially in dealing with the breakfast crowd. Will stay there again.

LOVE the location! Only recommendation as I left was that maintenance on the toilet that created a huge puddle under it during the course of a one night stay and the faucet that ran b/c it was touchy in how to turn it off was not conserving on water....but other than that I was very pleased w/my stay! Thank you Fairfield!

The hotel room was small. Closet was small, no room for guest to sit down comfortably in room. Staff and emenities good.

Everything about my stay was great!!!! Surrounding neighborhood is very innercity, but the hotel is very secure. No problems with me or my small 3 children walking around the area. Definitely stay there again.

I loved everything about this hotel. Very convenient to the Metro. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Very good breakfast in the AM and cookies in the afternoon. I would describe the hotel decor as Asian fusion. Great colors and patterns. The hotel seemed almost brand new. I could hear street noise (sirens) at night and slept with earplugs. Probably a good idea if you are noise sensitive. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was damp feeling... could be the AC, not sure. The neighborhood is a little shady, but only for a block, outside of the liquor store ironically enough. Very nice people work there and it really is convenient to everything. I would definitely stay there again.

Very professional and courteous staff. Gave me a verbal tour of where everything was inside and outside the hotel. Had WiFi in my room. Nice, updated hotel rooms that were clean and smelled clean. Gym was really nice as well! Had an excellent stay, too bad it was only for one night.

This hotel is in the China town area of DC and surrounded by mostly Asian restaurants and shops. The location is busy but not bad for business travelers. The room I stayed had a King bed and spacious. I did not like the color combinations used for the walls and furniture. In general you feel a very Asian atmosphere in the hotel decorations.

This is a decent hotel. The room we had was huge, the beds comfortable (and the pillows were good which is, from experience, a rarity: just the right balance of support and softness) and the bathroom good. Breakfast was OK - seems to be a pretty standard selection in hotels in this price range which isn't surprising. Staff were very helpful when we came in, soaked to the skin after a downpour in the early evening after having checked out earlier that day.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in a great part of town. Walking distance to great coffee shops, restaurants, public transportation, and sights. Great place.

The Fairfiled was a great hotel ! It was close to the subway which was only a few stops to the ball park ... I liked that I could walk to 7th street and get something to eat , either a sit down or fast food ! The hotel was very clean , and the continental breakfast was awesome ! I would stay there again;)

Wow is all I can say. The staff was very nice and helpful. This hotel sports a very modern fusionistic theme. The only downside of the location is no parking and it cost 33 dollars a day for parking but. The food, ,the bar, the beds, everything else was amazing. I will recommend this hotel for anyone that wishes to stay close to everything in the city.

especially given its rates, i really can not expect more than what i've already had. i stayed there for three days. the room was luxury, the front desk ppl were super nice even i locked my key card in my room twice... i even printed out my resume for free! the location is convenient. and i like the thai restaurant across the street. there are lots of restaurants nearby.

My family and I loved this hotel. It was in a convenient location, close to all the major attractions and metro station. The breakfast was also amazing! We expected bagels and juice but they had everything!! I would def stay here again on my next visit!

Enjoyed my stay small room but it was on the end nice and cozy room loved the comfortable pillows parking was horrendous and hotel valet was a lot of money excellent complimentary continental breakfast overall I would stay again!

This hotel is one block from the Verizon center. It is located in Chinatown although I would call it China "block." It is in a safe area of the city so my wife and I did not worry about walking with our two kids to all the attractions. The Capital building is a couple block but well worth it. The breakfast at the Fairfield was fantastic. There was something there for every member of the family. We would definitely stay there again. We had no problems.

The hotel location is an easy (and seeminglyy safe) walk to and from events at the Verizon Center. It is still a city though, so take sensible precautions. The hotel has been recently remodeled and renamed (previously a Red Roof Inn). It is very attractive, very clean and the staff are cheerful and helpful. About the only negative is that the fitness room is cramped, dreary, and poorly equipped - particulalry if you aren't a fan of treadmills.

We had an amazing stay at the Fairfield Inn in Washington DC. The staff was very friendly and helped us with all our needs. The continental breakfast was amazing. The rooms were spotless and the hotel was situated in the perfect spot. It was close to everything.

It was a pleasure staying at the Fairfield Inn in Wash. DC. It was close to everywhere we needed to go. We are definitely going back next year!!
