Clean rooms, great pool. Shuttle times to the Disney parks weren't the best, but really close to Universal. Overall nice hotel, especially for the price.

This hotel is in a great location....very close to Universal. The room was a little run down....but what do you expect for the price? My sister stayed there a year ago and her room was in much better condition. Since we didn't spend a lot of time there except to sleep and shower, it was fine. The breakfast was a little skimpy....we ended up going to a nearby IHOP to get more choices for breakfast. Overall it was ok.

The drive was easy to get there from Universal Studios, but it took far to long to get checked into our room and once there it smelled horribly, just like wet dog. We were exhausted and too tired to even move rooms and had a 13 hour drive ahead of us the next day, so we never even tried to switch rooms, but the smell gave me a headache and I was disappointed.

Taken a shower and the handles came off. Coffee table leg had to be put on tighter. They did swap rooms to pool side :- staff was nice:-small bathroom.

We had a great time . The staff was very nice and we got fresh towels daily . We will consider staying there again .

Walking distance to a tgi Fridays that has a breakfast buffet and only a mile walk to universal and islands of adventure so save on parking. I would definitely stay there again.

I only stayed two nights. I atayed one night then the next day I went to Mexico for three days. Then came back and stayed the second night. It was perfect for me because it was just me in that big room. Only thing I did't like was the ice machine didn't work. So I had to walk all the way aroung to other sie to get ice. Other than that I had a great time. Don't waste $15 parking when you can just walk over to Universal Studios/Island of Adventure.

After having previously stayed at the Days Inn in Memphis, this Days Inn experience was well below par. We only stayed one night at the Days Inn Universal Orlando. The condition of the room was absolutely horrible. The phone didn't work because someone had quite obviously pulled the phone jack out of the wall. The towel holder was actually falling off of the wall. The sink leaked so bad that we had a pool of water in our room by the next morning. The maintenance man did come to our room and fixed the phone so it was in working condition. He did fail to fix the leak in the sink at all. Barely looked at it, said he saw no leak and then left. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to turn the darn thing on and see where it's leaking! The room also lacked a coffee maker and microwave which seem to be standard in any hotel room you stay in these days. And after all of the problems with the room, we were constantly being woken up all through the night due to people partying and being loud. I will never stay here again. I had a good impression of Days Inn until my encounter with this particular hotel! My personal opinion is that they charge too much for the actual condition of this hotel and there are much better hotels in the Orlando area to stay in for the same price that we paid!

First I arrived and after being told all Was paid for,I was told there was a 2.25 fee that I still owed. after I checked out I found that the fee was for a room safe? Huh. Place was old and run down toilet didn't flush right all drains were slow. the room had no table or chairs. (Well there was a small desk with one chair.) no microwave or coffee maker. the bed was uncomfortable and I also had to kill a small insect crawling across the bedspread. we only needed a place to sleep for a few hours. But it was not the best experience to say the least.

This hotel was fine for the price, but I wouldn't want to spend very much time there. The staff are not very helpful, and I would rather not ask for too much information. Would be fine for a day or two.

When I first checked in, I had requested a bottom floor. They were unable to accomadate. I ended up on the 2nd floor. Upon carryiing all my bags upstairs, I learned that someone else's belongings were in the room. When I walked all the way back to the office, they tried to tell me that noone was in that room (even though I saw suitcases, clothing etc. lying all over the room). The maid was asked if anyone was in the room and she said no. I was finally given the room next door. Scary to me that noone knew that someone was in the room, and readily gave me access to others belongings... After the first night, I went about my business. I purposely took the do not disturb off the door in order to make sure I got maid service. Gone all day to come back and find out that my room had never been serviced. I called the front desk and they claimed I had a do not disturb sign on my door. I argued with the front desk for a few minutes. I asked if I could at least get some fresh towels. He told me if I wanted some towels that maids had left for the day, so I had to come to the desk and get them myself. Someone finally brought me towels and they were pool towels and the gentleman argued with me again that I had no service sign up and that is why I did not get service. I asked him to please note that I want service everyday because with four people in the room, we use towels everyday and accumulate a lot of trash. Very rude staff and the worst customer service I have EVER experienced!!!! I recommend paying a little more and staying ANYWHERE else!

Our room was wonderful. Close to attractions pool was clean and staff were friendly

My family and I wanted to head to Universal one day earlier than planned but could not get our same hotel that we had already booked for 3 nights so because this was last minute there was no other rooms available. The only and I mean only thing good about the place is the location....which was across the street from Universal. The rooms were so old and dirty I made my two boys keep their shoes on the entire time. These people running the hotel are so cheep they make you pay another 2.50 as a cleaning fee. The beds were the worst! Thankful I brought my own pillow and 2 blankets for my boys...the beds had plastic cover in lieu of mattress pads and you felt every spring in your back...far none this is the worst place I ever stayed. Needless to say when we got to our originally booked hotel the next day we were so excited it was great..and $30 cheaper a night with a full size kitchen!

Check in was a nightmare, but after that all went well, was only there to go to Universal Studio's and it was a great place to stay for that.

The motel was good for what you pay and in a great location to be in if you are visiting the parks.

The room smelled bad and the air condishener was so loud we could not sleep. Do not stay there!

Staff were courteous and helpful, however the room was unkept and in poor condition, bedding (blankets) had cigarette burns. This is a tired property. 1 star 1.5 tops.

1st- no hotel should have ants and roaches! 2nd- when going on a vacation with a teenager or small child, as a parent we need to be able to entertain the kids. The TV in the room was from the 70's no way to hook up any type of ps3 or Dvd!!!! Even the HBO family was fuzzy and could not stay.... We were suppose to speand 2 nights there after 2 hours there I was on line looking for different hotels would have left that night if I could have. But did check out the next morning.I tried to tell my concerns but the front desk ignored me,I know the manager was stranding right there! He never once said a word to me... Fyi- while on the Internet at the hotel,every time you go to a new page you have to resign in with their password. I did gather all the bugs and laid them on a paper towel for the maids to see how bad it was, I did alert the front desk of what I left! Will NOT be going back

We booked two rooms at this hotel for two night and it was the worst two nights ever. In one room there were roaches fleas and dirty sheets. the other room had a leaking toliet that as you sat on it , water from the toliet would soak you r feet and clothes. They put half of our party in a diferent room because of teh bugs and the new room they gave us had MOLD everywhere and the toliet from the upstairs room was leaking in the bathroom sink. I took video of all the mold and leaks from the room above. NO ONE would give me any money back. The hotel staff was rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please dont waste your time or money at this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a nice restaurant and Tiki Bar. The Lobby and outside of the hotel look as if the rooms should be nice. However when you enter the room, be ready for the shock! The bathtub was cracked and the noise from the air condition was so loud that the sound of it overpowered anything else in the room. One other thing. Upon checkout I was billed an extra charge for the safe that was in my room, which I never did use.

The motel is not bad, it has some age and the rooms were clean. However, we booked a King and got two doubles, which I can overlook. However, about one in the morning a family was checked in to the same room we were and was trying to get it with the key, which did work. That concerned me that if they had a key, who else would have one too. Didn't want to leave out stuff there during the day. Called the front desk, which took 12 rings to get someone to answer and they really didn't seem all that concerned about the incident. Nor did they seem to care that we didn't get the king we booked instead of the two doubles. Good because of the location, but I think I'll pay more next time for a different hotel.

Hotel in grave need of updating. AC did not work. Room not cleaned upon our arrival requiring room change. I was told that a continental breakfast was included and that was not so. The dining area was extremely over crowded, we chose to eat elsewhere. location to our destination was convenient. very disappointed with this facility!!

For the price the hotel was adequate ... my son was disappointed because the posted pool times were not recognized by the hotel staff (the pool opened an hour after the posted pool times, so we weren't able to stay and enjoy the pool) ... Some of the items (such as the TV and some of the electric outlets) did not work, and the room was definitely showing it's age. If you're looking for an inexpensive hotel close to Universal Studios, I'd recommend this one ... if you're looking for more of a "destination" hotel where you wish to spend more time than simply sleeping, you may wish to keep looking .....

Very convenient to Universal but cleaning wasn'[t great. The carpets, furnishing and bathrooms were rundown.

The toilet didn't flush the light in the bathroom didn't work. Water temperature fluctuated hot and cold when taking a shower. Blood stain on carpet in two different spots. Besides that it was pleasant LOL.

Employees were not helpful; they were unfriendly acted like it was a bother to help. Would never stay there again.

Absolutely terrible. I had bed bugs, little spiders crawling around my bed and when I told the front desk, which doesn't exist at night as they close the lobby. So when I went to the outdoor window to ask for a new room, they told me they were booked and asked if i'd like to check out. It was midnight, we had bed bugs, and they're telling me I can basically deal with it or leave. So i slept in the other bed with my friend. Two, the lock on our door was broken, so we propped an iron against it because the door didn't dead bolt haha. Third, we got our sheets replaced and there was dried blood on one sheet.... so that was great. Finally, we paid for wi fi and when i asked how to get it i got "oh it doesnt work..." do NOT stay at this place.... The room was comfortable, fine whatever, but I guess that's what we get for forty dollars a night.

The air condition did not work, its tile everywhere, smelly, the tub had rust stains and the towels. Plus there were crumbs on the bed sheets. Plus not cable!!!!

Crack head neighbors kept us up til 3am screaming at the top of there lungs hotel staff never showed up to toss them.

There wasn't anything fancy about the hotel but it was comfortable, clean and in a great location. Only thing I didn't like was some of the TV channels didn't work.

The room was nice and clean loved that it had tile not carpet.

For the price and convenience to Universal I would stay there again.

Since the beginning the hotel was a nightmare, the TV was old, not good signal, the alarm clock was not working, the BATHROOMS WERE DIRTY, yellow stains, the towels dirty. The soap and the shampoo from the worst quality ever. Cockroaches all over the place. No internet although when waiting to get our room the lobby employees were offering to other people room with internet. I paid my hotel in advance, and didnt get any benefit. Simply disgusting & obviously never ever going back. And the horrible breakfast... I even had to pay for that.

The cleaning crew and desk clerk was great! The location is excellent for Universal parks...However, the shuttle takes a long time to pick up and drop off. Also the hotel seems to look old and the grounds are not kept as well as other hotels. Overall a decent stay.

I wasn't expecting much, but the website did say it had free high speed internet access and transportation to/from parks. The internet access is provided in the form of public wifi only accessible in the lobby. The shuttles only run two or three specific times a day and do not correspond to opening/closing time of the parks. Other than that it was exactly what I expected for the price: scratchy towels, unattractive rooms, poor channel selection on the TV, and the ironing board had questionable stains on it. On the plus side, there were beds, a working AC unit, and a good mini-fridge. If you get a great price and you aren't expecting much, then go for it. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

We stayed here for 2 nights and would not go back. Other than the location (15 minute walk to Universal) its a pretty rotten hotel even though we were only using it to sleep and wash in. It is very old at this stage, the carpets in the room were stained and the blankets were retro and itchy. We got a massive deal though hotels.com for the room but that was a mistake as we should have paid more for a better hotel. I think they do have better rooms than ours in the actual hotel building itself (we were in another building off the pool). Never again!

Terrible Hotel Can't Believe Days Inn would even allow them to have the franchise They must not care about their reputation. The rooms were dirty towels had hair on them which meant they were never washed the sink and bathtub which are VERY old and damaged had paint placed on them to cover the damage Can't believe the health department hasn't shut them down either You can definitely find a better and cleaner hotel than this one .

added charge to prepaid hotel room disheveled front desk staff (messy uniforms, unclean body) entered hotel room - it appeared low-end, but I didn't expect more. tv remote didn't work hole in the wall in the bathroom near the floor "repaired" with masking tape large red ants crawling on the floor bed has a visible sunken area in the middle while it was a non-smoking room people congregated outside my door from other rooms to smoke and it crept inside the room. while not a reflection on the hotel, it was a reflection on the clientele (an altercation between the room beside me and the one on its other side based on the middle room's noise levels scared me and kept me from sleeping at night.) I have never felt so unsafe/insecure in a hotel room. I do not recommend this hotel for people traveling alone or with small children.
