The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They were very courteous and friendly.

Room was very nice and could not hear noise from outside. Staff was great.

We have stayed in this hotel every year for the past 17 years. It never disappoints. The service is impeccable and the food, unlike many hotels, is great. All this is in addition to being just a beautiful place!

-I did not like that the business center is open until 11pm and in saturdays until 2 and on sundays closed! -Pool is under maintenance

This was my third stay at the Fiesta Americana and I must say the hotel has changed through the years, unfortunately, not for the better. The room was as nice as ever, but the service was not. One of our favorite things to do at the hotel has always been to have a few drinks at the bar due to the great service we always got from a very polite, very attentive waiter named Ricardo. The management now has moved all the male out of the bar and placed them away into the cafe or other areas and replaced them with female employees who are very young and who lack in attentiveness and service is not their forte. The restaurant, Cafe Montejo, where we had breakfast one morning has also lost its luster. The service was poor and the food even worse. The food was cold, under-cooked and the fruit not ripe. The fruit had small flies and some of the items burnt. When we notified another one of the very young women (they are all women) at the front desk, she indicated she would let the chef know. Next day during check out, we were charged for it. The hotel is still conveniently located, they "failed" to let us know they pool was close and would be closed for the entire month and the place has become extremely noisy. It is still a nice place, just not, what it used to be.

We went there as a family this time and it did exceed our expectations. Every meal we had at Fiesta Americana was an excellent meal, we are used to 5*hotels and this is in no way a 4* hotel as seen on many websites, it compares to 5* and even more (if there was more).

I come to Merida often and have stayed in several hotels. Now I stay only at the Fiesta Americana. It is extremely PLEASANT and COMFORTABLE. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. But one thing that I like most about the Fiesta American is its clientele. Since I am an American, I don't need to be with my fellow Americans while I am in Mexico, and this hotel is usually filled with Mexican tourists having a good time. You get to see how Mexican upper-middle class people, especially families, enjoy themselves, and I appreciate seeing people of a different culture, rather than just the usual group of American tourists like me. Americans, of course, are more than welcome too, which is why I stay there.

This hotelis very comfortable. The rooms is big and clean. The staff is very friendly. I was here to attend a conference. Wouldn't recomment the city of Merida for vacation, not a lot to see.

Great service and location. Still the best hotel in Merida. Highly recommended. Only issue that could make the good experience better: the hotel should include Wi-Fi with the rate instead of charging over $100 USD for a week of wireless internet access.

Good overall Hotel in the center of Merida with easy access to the local Attraction. The Hotel needs some maintenance and some of the staff needs more proper training in responding to Guest request.

We arrived late in the evening and the staff took care of our luguage, checked us in and we were all set in a matter of minutes. Had an excellant breakfast in the resturant next morning and were on our way - all with the same efficiency. A nice experience after a LONG day of travel.

An excellent hotel in a great location with superb service. We reserved the Fiesta Room which was beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was great. Best hotel in Merida. Will definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Fiesta Americana was wonderful. The hotel has a nice feel, close to Av Montejo -a must in Merida- but a bit far away from Plaza Grande. We stayed 3 nights at Fiesta Americana in Merida and were totally satisfied with the service and will definetily consider other Fiesta Americana hotels for futue stays in Mexico. Merida is in a good location if you want to visit the Flamingo colony in Celestum and also the Uxmal Archeological site - far more impressive than Chichen Itza-.

This was a gorgeous hotel in a great neighborhood in Merida. I would recommend this to anyone, but be sure to book online. The walk-in price is much higher than what I paid on hotels.com

I would recommend this hotel to any one going to Merida For the first time, it makes you feel at home

Excelente atención, muy bien ubicado, excelentes instalaciones, el único inconveniente fue el alcance de la red inalámbrica de internet, ya que a cada rato se interrumpía la señal dentro de la habitación

Estuvimos muy conformes en el hotel lo único que se nos hace increíble y por lo cual consideraría llegar a otro hotel ya a no es posible que en una cadena tan comercial, COBREN desde el café en la habitación, el Agua embotellada, y el colmo mas grande El SERVICIO de INTERNET En cincuenta y cinco pesos la hora, cuando ahí mismo recibíamos la señal gratuita del holyday inn o sanborns. Vamos ni en los mejores hoteles de México sucede esto solo en la cadena Fiesta Americana

Goed en mooi hotel,mooie buurt .Jammer dat het personeel soms wat taken laat liggen.zoals het verschonen van het beddegoed en het plaatsen van shampoo.Over het allegemeen een fijn hotel en een mooie uitstraling.

Esta cadena para mi es garantía de servicio y calidad. Ya me he hospedado en otras ciudades y la experiencia siempre ha sido satisfactoria. Muy recomendable.

La habitación muy bien, pero no esta céntrico y tienes que entrar a un centro comercial para subir al hotel. Nosotros cogimos el desayuno continental que ya nos pareció suficiente porque el buffet nos pedían 10 euros más.

EL HOTEL ES MUY LINDO Y ESTA MUY BIEN UBICADO

el hotel es bastante caro, cobran todo, incluso el uso de internet donde en otros hoteles es gratis!!!
