Starhotels Majestic - تورينو

The hotel and the room were clean, but the overall impression was of rundown (ex. pattern barely visible in middle of carpet). The personnel was friendly but not accommodating to our needs. This hotel still has smoking rooms and this created the following problem: we did not request a non-smoking room since this information (hotel still has smoking rooms) is not clearly stated at the time we did our booking. After entering the room and realizing the bad smell, we asked to be moved to a non-smoking room. This would have been possible had we been willing to pay for an upgrade or do downgrade (nobody mentioned to us the possibility to downgrade and be partially reimbursed). At the time of our visit there were construction works going on, as we found out on Monday morning. Construction noise was not mentioned to us when we checked in on Saturday afternoon. Security is questionable as with hard key (as opposed to magnetic card key) there is possibly no record of when people enter the room. Even though breakfast as included in our rate, we did not eat at the hotel as the downtown area has many bars and restaurants with dehors on beautiful (and closed to traffic) piazza's. The location of the hotel is perfect to explore the city and to catch a train to visit neighboring cities.

Very good hotel overall and correct on the price. Breakfast had various options and was good. The average grade for the room confort is due to the fact that we could not really control the air conditioning (room was too hot, but had a window that we could open and this helped) and the bath shower is really small. Carpets a bit rundown. But then again, these are small issues on the overall picture. No parking on site, but at least 2 public nearby. Personnel was polite and correct. New part of town for us, (usually we avoid anything near the train stations) but this time it was actually great. Turn left and go to the station (which we don't want), turn right and go into a great part of Turin, lots of lovely shops, plazas, etc, and barely 10 minutes walking from the main palace and center of town. We will stay here again.

Overall pleased. It is a good hotel.

A very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel, close to Punta Nouva Railway Station, connecting bus to airport and all the must see sights in Turin. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble.

excelent stay friendly front office staff made us welcome, the location allows easy access to the bus for Sasso/Supergra and a good stroll at your pace down to the Egyptian museum and city centre.

Expensive frigobar and internet service. Very good location for visiting and taking the train. Beautiful hotel.

For the price I paid it should be free.

The hotel is tired & worn. Decor needs updating. otherwise a comfortable location. Decent fitness facility for a European hotel.

Stayed here again after 6 or 7 years and the hotel now has an air of faded grandeur. The hotel had 2 large groups of British guests and the reception staff didn't seen happy to see 3 more arriving. However the barman was very friendly and made some wonderful cocktails. Breakfast was adequate witha good variety. THe hotel is within walking distance of the main rail station and the shopping and museum areas and just round the corner from Cafe Bar Roma tra Talmone - fabulous. Ignore Hotels.com weather forecast - bright sun forecast for the weekend and in fact horrendous thunderstorms each evening. But Turin is fantastic.

My daughter and I enjoyed our recent stay here - it is close to all the sights and museums in Torino. The room was very large, spotless, with a wonderful marble bathroom. Wonderful bedding too. The front desk was so helpful with suggestions for good restaurants and tourist spots. A very nice buffet breakfast is also included. We would highly recommend this hotel for both tourists and business travelers. We plan on staying at this hotel on our next visit to Torino.

The Star Majestic Hotel in Turin was overall a decent hotel that the was located near the Porta Nuova train station, so was ideal if taking the airport bus as it dropped you off there. The only gripe I had was that we had booked a classic twin room, however this turned out to be something of a disappointment as the room we were given was not like the one shown or described on the web site. The room was clean but rather shabby looking and quite small with no curtains and only a outside window shutter, there was also no cupboard space and poor air-conditioning. The bathroom was a decent size, but only had a shower with a shabby curtain around it. As soon as we saw the room, we decided to ask for an upgrade, which the reception desk did for us but we had to pay for the upgrade. The superior room was the total opposite to the original one, it was spacious, airy and had a pleasant atmosphere with good air-conditioning, nice curtains and a good bathroom with a bath and proper shower! Overall the hotel was good enough, the breakfast was a little basic but did the job on the whole. I would recommend this hotel to people, but with the advice to book a superior room which would make for a more pleasant stay. Turin is a beautiful city and I would certainly recommend a visit there to anyone.

I chose this hotel because it was very close to the stunning Egyptain Museum. The bonus was that the airport transfer bus stopped on the other side of the road from the hotel - very convenient. It was also very convenient for all the other sights of Turin -a very elegant city it is too Breakfast not up to much - edible that's all I can say for it. The chef must have been on holiday as there was no evening meal service in the restaurant

The Starhotels Majestic is just across the road from the main train station in Turin, the Porta Nuova. It's also right on the edge of the historic centre of the town, which boasts fantastic squares (piazze), old cafes, and fancy shops. The room itself was a very good size, and everything was clean and well maintained. Although the hotel is on a main road, there was no traffic noise. The air conditioning was not particularly great: I had it on most of the time, but the temperature never really dipped below 25C (it was very hot outside, however). The breakfast could also have had a little more variety.

個人旅行なので駅から近いことがなによりでした。どこに出かけるにも、便利で観光を満喫できました。

Leider hatten wir als NR ein Raucherzimmer, dass fürchterlich stank - Möglichkeit zum Wechseln gab es nicht. Die Lage des Hotels ist für die Besichtigung der Stadt ideal. Das Personal an der Rezeption war relativ unfreundlich.

Muy bueno desayuno rico excelente ubicación frente a la estación de tren ,las personas del hotel muy agradables

Hotel très bien situé dans la ville, à quelques pas de la majorité des attractions mais qui doit absolument recevoir une cure de rajeunissement. Hotel toutefois propre mais semble appartenir à une autre époque. Ne vaut pas son 4 étoiles.

E' a un passo dalla stazione ferroviaria e dalla metropolitana. Tutte le cose importanti di Torino sono raggiungibili a piedi o con la metro con estrema facilità.

La mia valutazione si basa su un soggiorno molto breve, quindi non è molto dettagliata! L'albergo però è in un'ottima posizione, il personale cordialissimo, c'era un ricco buffet a colazione, la camera molto pulita, comodissimo il parcheggio lì vicino e altrettanto comoda la posizione, vicina all'inizio di Via Roma.

soggiorno positivo per ubicazione, hotel ristrutturato solo nella hall, personale gentile

Ho vissuto a Torino dall'88 al 90 e, fidandomi della mia memoria e dell'opinione di altri utenti, ho scelto questa struttura per trascorrere due notti. Le condizioni della moquette nei corridoi (terzo piano) fanno pensare che siano almeno 20 anni che non viene rinnovata, le porte delle camere (e quelle interne, camera 305) in anticorodal sono tristissime e adatte più a un due stelle che a un hotel presitgioso. Gli arredi sono coetanei della moquette e necessitano di un rinnovamento quanto prima. Considero folle la temperatura interna alla struttura, soprattutto in camera: troppo elevata e impossibile da regolare.Uniche note positive: l'impeccabile servizio nella sala colazione, la varietà e la qualità della stessa e la posizione dell'albergo. Particolare curioso: quando ho cercato la connessione wi-fi sia il tablet sia lo smart-phone hanno rilevato solo quella (ottima) del confinante Atahotel.

Die Größe,Ausstattung,der Standard und die Sauberkeit des Zimmers und der Flure zu den Zimmern entsprach in keiner Weise einem Superior-Zimmer in einem 4-Sterne-Haus.Lobby und Bar waren wohl neu renoviert und in Ordnung.Personal an Rezeption und Bar sehr freundlich;im Restaurant/Frühstücksraum eher unwillig.Lage des Hauses sehr zentral.

Mycket centralt och bra läge. Mycket servicevänlig personal. riklig frukostbuffe.

Gutes Stadthotel - sehr gut gelegen! Nähe Bahnhof, Einkausstrassen und Sehenswürdigkeiten!

駅から近く便利な立地。スタッフの対応はイタリアなのでこんなものか。毎回鍵を預けるのが、面倒帰った時待たされる。部屋は最低限でビジネスの短期なら問題ない。

Ho trascorso un soggiorno indimenticabile. Io e mia moglie siamo entusiasti. Ci è stata assegnata una camera stupenda con un trattamento pari ad un 5 stelle. Ritorneremo senz'altro a soggiornare presso questo hotel.

Good neighbourhood,great surroundings,great breakfast,excelllent service. Was going to juventus match without tickets,receptionist took care of it for a good price :)

Proche du centre ville, pas de parking (attention aux amendes), wifi payant, super petit déjeuner, chambre propre et confortable.

провел в этом отеле 2 дня. Путешествовали с женой по Италии на электричках. Для этой цели расположение идеальное, прямо напротив ж.д.вокзала и рядом с историческим центром и магазинами и ресторанами. Приличный завтрак. Хороший номер, нормальный сервис.

Excelente ubicación del hotel, cerca de la estación de trenes que es un edificio hermoso y de la calle mas elegante y de boutiques. Se puede caminar al Museo Egipcio y al Museo Historico. Muy agradable el trato del personal.

Ideale Lage neben Bahnhof Porta Nova, öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Gehdistanz. Angenehm gekühlte Räume bei Sommerhitze. Zimmer zum Innenhof total ruhig mit vollständiger Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit. Frühstückservice bis 10.30 Uhr. Wir haben uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt als willkommene Gäste gefühlt.

Un hotel qui sans doute à eu des jours meilleurs mais qui reste très conformtable et très pratique pour rayonner sur le très agréable centre ville de Turin.
