I have stayed here before, but we found a bag of bullets, rice, and pot. We did get another room.

Great place to stay for an overnight. Close to everything, but away from the busy downtown traffic. Good accomodations great breakfast...Would recommned to anyone....

The hotel needs some updating. Bathroom is tiny and the shower did not work good at all. We had to take a bath instead. The hotel needs new furniture also. In all not very pleased with our stay. Would not recommend.

I stay here every time I travel in/out of Portland, very convenient five minutes from airport, but quiet, clean, comfortable.

Bed was very comfortable, people pleasant excellent complimentary breakfast. Little more expensive than we had planned on paying.

Perfect location for shopping and choices of restaurants. Nice to have breakfast and quite substantial. MIssed the cider and cookies however!

The front desk staff and manager are incredibly friendly. Breakfast was solid. Bed was comfy. Great bargain!

My only disappointment was the size of the bathroom and the sink being in the "room" within sight of others. Made it uncomforatable to not have privacy while at the sink. The room was clean though and that is very important to me.

Good for a one night stay.the bathroom was very small, Sink was in the main room. Brekfast was good.

OK place - hard to find parking spot late at night since hotel was full. Sink handle squeaked. Good location to mall, airport and near downtown.

Good value. Convenient location. Comfortable bed.

Good hotel, we often stay there when using the airport the next day - clean, efficient service. Wireless had some issues, but usually okay. We'd stay again.

Was a wonderful stay hated to leave but plan on returning.

I had appointments in Portland and at the Maine Mall. The hotel was convenient to both, parking was close to my room, the included breakfast was more than adequate, and the room itself clean and adequate to my needs.

We stayed there two nights, once at the beginning and once at the end of our vacation. The first night was fine. Check in on the second night, August 12, was unfortunate as the two clerks were very inattentive and one was curt. The breakfast 'scrambled eggs' were odd, resembling a small yellow frisbee. The check-out person was friendly.

Convenient location, but the room was drab, bathroom and tub tiny, and breakfast room uncomfortably overcrowded.

Tired and old looking.

Served every purpose that we needed. My daughter had an early morning flight and mine was early afternoon. She was able to get up, shower and dress and take a shuttle while I was enjoying my coffee. I then had the room to my self for a later flight! My only complaint was that the tub drained very slow! Other than that, very satisfied!

I really enjoyed the stay in Portland very much. I like that we were close to IHOP. Walmart and the Maine Mall. The staff was very helpful and frendly.

Our stay was perfectly fine and we truly appreciated the free shuttle service. The location was good as we had a very early morning flight out the next following day. My only quibble was the costly charge for the brief long distance calls. I will purchase a calling card before I travel again. Yes, I am the only person in the world without a cell phone. :)

I've stayed at this hotel before and have always found it to be a good value.

I loved the waffle and the very cozy yet firm bed.

The room was a little musty smelling and it was noisy since it is practically on the highway, but it was easy to get to from the airport( free shuttle) and quick to be on our way the next AM.

especially appreciated the help and kindness of front desk person. However, a real lack of eating options if you don't have car.

The staff were excellent and the housekeeping staff kept the hotel clean and orderly. The rooms were very small and the bathrooms were small as well. The bed was quite hard to sleep. My girlfriend had to buy a foam mattress to place on top of the bed as the bed was really hard on her back. The pillows were small squares and not like regular hotel pillows. We went to the complimentary breakfast on our last day. It is in a small area and you were always in someone else's way or they were in your way when you were trying to get your breakfast because the tables and chairs and too close to where the counters are that have the food. The lady looking after the complimentary breakfast was awesome though. She was very friendly and funny too. Finally, the toilet did not work very well.

Clean room, friendly staff, close to airport

this was a stop over both coming and going to a funeral. Phil was the clerk that assisted us on both check ins. He was courteous and more than accommodating to a grieving family traveling to Maine from away. I cannot tell you how thoughtful he was and how very accommodating he was to assist us in getting to our rooms, getting us something to eat, directions and getting us to and from the airport. I will be definitely be staying here again when we come back to Maine for more pleasant reasons .

We stay at the comfort inn whenever we are in Portland. Remodeling was being done, but it didn't affect the room.

No mention was made that they're renovating lobby/breakfast room. VERY cramped and inconvenient to eat. Had to carry food upstairs to our room to eat it . No wonder the rate was lower

Typical Comfort inn, except it was being remodeled. It was suffice and the price was right, but it would have been nice to know of the construction before we got there. Breakfast was OK, but having to bring it back to the room was not good. But for the value, I guess it was ok.

The room was clean, the location was excellent. Hotel under renovation.
