Great breakfast, convenient location. Rooms a bit dated but comfortable

Overall, I really liked this hotel but there were a few annoyances that made me drop its rating. The first is that the minifridge looked like it was purchased from a garage sale at a frat. Secondly, there was no microwave. I can't remember the last time that I stayed at a hotel that didn't have a micro. It had to be sometime in the early 90s. Lame, especially since I had bought some microwave popcorn as a snack. I know that this is their "hotels.com" room, but still, the surrounding area is loaded, purchasing a $30 microwave and a new fridge where the handle doesn't fall off in your hand when you open it is definitely affordable.

Very good value

Very comfortable suites, clean and spacious. Excellent beds. Two big flatscreen TVs plus one in the huge bathroom. Friendly staff. Valet parking and free Internet included. There's even a printer in the room.

Excellent place, well situated and lots to see. Great environment. Very good services, personnel is curteous. The full service complementary breakfast was greatly appreciated. Highly recommanded place to stay.

We have stayed here several times now and have been very happy everytime. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The bed was very soft and comfy. The breakfast is GREAT! On our next trip we have talked my In-Laws in to staying here with us.

This hotel was well located next to several restaurants and shops. The towels as others have commented were very rough. The pool was quite small, with no umbrellas and very little shade. If u have some family members that like to sit around the pool in the shade probabaly not for you. Breakfast also as others have commented was very good

- great to have breakfast included making getting to the nearby golf course on time easy - appeared to be an older hotel, a worn look to it but bed was comfortable, everything worked - also partook of pool and hot tub on site which was perfect to cool off and relax the muscles after golf - close to one of the best golf shops in Palm Springs area, Pete Carlson's

Best Western Resort in Palm Desert, CA. Staff were very helpful and prompt in providing us a different room because of a very noisy air conditioning compressor. The room was fine, except we'd prefer carpeting to "hardwood" flooring. No kleenix in bathroom, however. Very adequate included breakfast. Pillows on the king bed were, however, a little small. A good value for the price, however.

Nice pool. Great breakfast. Good bed.

Lots of kids and families. The pool is standard. Towels are restocked often. Breakfast to order is a nice perk and great way to start your day. It's not room service though.

Thank you! I wish that there were more hotels like you that are dog friendly!! That is what caught my eye when I was booking our room, but was totally impressed with everything!!!!

We had never stayed at this hotel but have been spending Easter in the area for years. We tried the Best Western just to see what it was like and won't return. Maintenance is poor. We don't mind an older hotel if it is kept up. This one is not kept up. Even the towels are antiquated. Unless you are looking for just the cheapest place on 111, pick a different place.

A very nice Best Western within close proximity to multiple stores, restaurants and attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable with a cozy little balcony that overlooked the garden area. The hot breakfast made to order was a pleasant surprise.

As others have said, the breakfast is outstanding here. The rooms are so so. The pool area is nice. Overall a pretty good value. The front desk check in person, Ryan, I believe was his name, was quite rude and brusque. I expect a friendly check in with some dialogue about where my room will be, not just a key tossed at me. I had to ask about breakfast, directions, where to park, etc. So my first impressions were not great. I would probably try another hotel in the area if I were to stay again just because with a family of three, the room was pretty small.

The hotel failed three mornings straight to deliver our wake-up call as requested. The third day an employee said this service was provided by an outside service and there was nothing they could do!

Beautiful location - stores, malls, restaurants and area attractions. Clean rooms, very pretty pool area, great staff. The breakfast was unbelievable! Highly recommend this hotel for families on a budget, especially in this area, as other hotels are very pricey. We were very satisfied and would definitely stay there again.

Very quiet and relaxing place. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the balcony every morning with our coffee. Will stay again!

Great breakfast!!!

Excellent location. Breakfast that is included is a very good meal and prepared while you wait. Beautiful grounds that were well kept. Friendly and very good service.

Had our daughter and grandson with us to visit the Living Desert. The hotel was very close so we didn't have to spend a lot of time driving. We were able to cool off in the pool after a hot afternoon and throughly enjoyed it. Breakfast the next morning was awesome! Would stay here again.

Washroom Bathtub is not easy a cotrol

Overall this hotel is a great value. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and had a small couch for seating plus a small desk. The included breakfast offered a limited menu, but it was delicious. The chefs cooked to order your egg/pancake entrees. The wait was usually only a couple minutes. The pool had a couple well worn chaises (needed some straps replaced), but otherwise the pool and jacuzzi were great. The only negative was that the bathroom had a slight musty smell.

The room was large with a sitting area. The hot breakfast was great with friendly cooks. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. The only complaint is that the bath towels are so small and thin. I think a hotel of this quality should have better towels.

The breakfast was wonderful!

This was a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was great as was the service. Quiet room.

But showing it's age....comfortable for an overnight. Not a place I would vacation at.

Overall, I enjoyed staying at this Best Western hotel. But, on the second night of my stay, a towel fire occured in the laundry room at around midnight and prompted a loud, annoying, fire alarm for at least 30 minutes until the fire department arrived. The next day there was no hot water. The manager was very nice and gave everyone who complained a 25% discount on there next stay at the hotel.

Will stay here again. Centrally located. Good guality for the price.

I so enjoyed my stay for one night....and the breakfast...it couldn't have been better. This is the first hotel that I have stayed at where you could order your breakfast and it was prepared right on the spot. It was great!

This was a very comfortable motel with a wonderful breakfast benefit. Items were made to order and fresh from their grill.

Depending on where your activities are, this hotel is about 20 min away from Palm Spring among other chain hotels in the same area. Bed is very uncomfortable for anyone with bad back. Very cheap towels. Basic breakfast but free and no waste, which is the only think I liked about.

The hotel was just a 3 star would not stay there next time. The breakfast was great the best thing about the stay.

This hotel was very nice: nice pool area, nice breakfast, nice service. However, make sure you ask for a room NOT facing the main street if you want quiet. Around dinner time, the traffic is very noisy. The cable for the 'old' TV was defective but we got service to repair it immidiatly.

I stayed at the Best Western for a golf vacation. It is just minutes from most of the major courses in the area. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast that comes with the room is perfect before heading to the golf course. This hotel is definitely a great value.

This hotel is in a great location with amazing views. Made for nice sunset views and early morning strolls. The are nice restaurants within walking distance, as well as Starbucks, grocery stores, pharmacies and a nice strip mall with many misc shops. My only issue was the size of the room. I purposely paid extra for a King suite, thinking it would provide more space. Unfortunately, it was quite cramped, and in reality probably the same overall square footage as a normal room. I would suggest saving your money and just getting the standard size room. Suites are not worth the extra cost.
