Concorde Opéra Paris - باريس

Traveling with two little kids (5 & 1), we had the junior suite. It was very clean and spacious (paris hotels are notorious for small rooms). Staff were very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Location is great with the RER and metro right outside doorsteps. Starbucks just outside, two malls within blocks and a good shopping area while most major sites are within 30 minute walking. Reccomend.

Concorde Opera is impressive from the outside and in the main public areas e.g. reception, bar and restaurant. Our superior room was not of the same standard (if it had been I doubt we could have afforded it) but we had no real complaints. Room on the small side but big enough, had a mini bar fridge in it. Mini bar prices very expensive as were room service and breakfast. Furniture a little worn but good quality. Bed very comfortable with clean,crisp linen. Bathroom was spotless and in good condition. Shower was either a trickle or a jet wash though. All the staff we spoke to were very helpful and friendly. Check in and out - no problem. Very handy for the Metro or the RER line. Hotel is 5 min walk from Opera Garnier and Galerie Laffayette and Au Printemps dept. stores. Restaurant in hotel looks very nice but the food wasn't great. Quite a few restaurants facing the hotel and in the side streets. Vespers or Vapours was quite nice and very reasonable located in a side street. Surrounding area was fine but not as nice as other neighbourhoods.

Excellent accommodation. Staff in the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Drinks and breakfast in the hotel were expensive but there are many alternative cafes/bars nearby. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall, good. The check-in staff immediately tried to upsell us to a room that cost about double the room we booked. The concierge was helpful with instructions on using the Metro, which was very conveniently located. There is a direct Metro line connecting the Gare St. Lazare and the Gare de Lyon (#14) that was not obvious from the maps. The room was very warm, and we could not run the fan without heat. The bathroom ceiling was sagging from the top of the room. But the room was quiet.

I asked for a silent room facing the backyard,but got one on top-floor (5th floor) facing the street (Rue Sct Lasar)..The room was silent being high over the street,but on 6th floor there was some noisy activities moving furnituyres arround the clock as this floor was the hotels store-rooms.The staff was very kind and polite.The restaurant in the hotel was very good. I missed a wather-boiler in the room for tea and coffee. All over Paris it is possible to rent publick bicyckles at their stands,but nessesary to by electronick tickets at the kiosks or in the hotels.

Another great stay in one of the courtyard-facing Deluxe rooms. Quiet, clean, lovely hotel bar & staff, great location to get to anywhere. Only minor item on the wish list for next time - it would be lovely if there was a complimentary or even for pay coffee station in the lobby or bar, since we either had to exit the hotel to lug coffee in from down the block, or pay for the full breakfast in the hotel or room service - no other options. Other than that, it was great.

This was an absolutely perfect stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in central Paris. Perfect to get around and is in an area steeped with wondering history. From to moment the doorman greeted us, through our room queries, and to the easy check out this was a stress free stay in a stunning hotel. Thank you Concorde Opera!

This hotel is of a very high standard throughout, the decor, comfort and cleanliness is fantastic. The staff are very efficient and helpful. We will definitely recommend this to all our friends traveling to Paris.

amazing interier, hall, decorations... but the room was rather small and simple exellent beds! very good sleep & rest after heavy days!

Grand, graceful lobby and what a pleasant surprise to see the size of the room. King bed with a sitting area, large bathroom and large closet area. Staff were helpful and responsive. Only issue was trying to contact them by phone in advance - tried twice and noone answers the phone! What's with that?!

Beautiful hotel... Great location - near train station, metro and a multitude of restaurants & shopping. Excellent service with friendly help. Our room was comfortable for 3 people, with windows opening to the street. The windows were thick and solid, blocking out all but construction noise (which no window could do). The room was very neat and clean as well, with more than adequate space. Elevators were always available and easily fit several people, as opposed to some smaller Paris hotel elevators. And above all, the lobby is stunning. The only nitpicks to even comment on would be that the shower tiles could use a bit of attention (in the grout), and the bathroom could use some ventilation. Other than that, it was nearly perfect. I am very glad we chose this hotel for 3 adults.

Our stay in this hotel was fabulous ! It is located right next to St Lazare Train Station. From the moment you arrive, you are swept into another era of memorable hotels - the lobby is beautiful. The staff were attentative and friendly. Our room consisted of a large bed - ample room for two people and also a table with comfortable chairs to sit in. The bathroom was quite large by Paris standards. There are plenty of restaurants to eat in around the area also. We will stay here again !

I liked the palatial lobby. Hotel staff was polite. As I was given an upgrade, I was very content with my stay.

Decent neighborhood with lots of activity considering the train station next door. Convenient. Excellent staff service and courtesy. Large room, a bit shabby but well-kept and authentic grand style. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for a weekend recently with the Missus on a deal we booked via hotels.com. The hotel does a wow factor when you walk in, the decor is very regal and the staff friendly. We got a queen size room for the weekend and it was very small, which is not a bad thing, nor was the outdated furniture. Two gripes about the room was the bathroom, where the decor was peeling and noticeable cracke tiles. Also, the air conditioning did not work and the room and hotel corridors were very hot. Also, there are no ammenties that you usually expect in a Hotel such as a kettle/tea and an Iron/Ironing board, which we asked for on a phone, waited 30mins and had to ask for again before getting it. Overall, its a hotel in a great location, right next to the Metro station, but no way a 4 star hotel. A tip to avoid the noise (which I read from previous rooms), request a room on a high floor, we stayed on the 4th so did not have that issue.

The location was good if you coming to Paris for shopping as all the big shops just around the corner. We upgrade to Deluxe room but the room wasn't what I expected, certainly not like what showed in the hotels.com website. The decor look like the Superior room that we booked in the first place but the staff did mentioned it was an Deluxe room. It was ok room but I would not certainly call Deluxe

Conveniently located by Saint Lazare metro and train station. Very close to Pritemps and Gallerie Lafayette for shopping. Cafes/restaurants nearby.

Hotel lobby is lovely. Rooms are a bit dated and coud use new cartpeting, but otherwise clean. Asked for a king size bed upon check-in and we got 2 twins pushed together, but very comfortable beds. Room was very warm upon entry but was able to turn down thermostat and open windows. Our room was street side which was ok for us as we grew up in NYC and we liked the sights on the street. Great bar in the lobby. Good buffet breakfast. Very comfortable to hang out in and good service. Lots of restaurants and shops near the hotel and a great train station at the corner. Would stay here again.

i like this hotel as it is walking distance to Printemps and Galeries. It is located in a nice area and the hotel is impressive.

Granduer foyer, nice size room ,bathroom good, bedding&pillows v.good quality,i love that touch, location superb

Let me bulletpoint my comments to make it more helpful: - great hotel, lobby very grand - room was perfect, a little smallish but quiet - ask for room away from the street if noise is an issue (which is what we did before we arrived) - marble bathrooms in room - perfect location, next to St Lazare Station, 1 stop away from Gare du Nord - Concierge - Vincent - is a gem, extremely helpful, and his dining recommendations were always spot on - all in all my wife and I thought it was a great hotel for the price!

Classy old hotel with style and sofisticated atmosphere and a spacious lobby area. Very unlike the tiny hotels you normally will find in Paris. We'd love to come back.

Excellent hotel, well situated for bus, metro or RER Staff friendly and welcomng, seemed to be ejoying their job. Hotel is showing its age, built in 1900,s but appears well maintained, and surprisingly, every thing worked with out having to knock or bang it. Did not eat in, but there are a wide range of bistro,s cafes, restaurants close by. St Lazare station is just behind and a wide range of wino,s and down and outs are available to step around. Nothing to do with the hotel, but the area around would be improved with out them. Would I go to this hotel again, definately yes.

We booked two rooms, one of them was very small for a 4*, the other quite spacious. We had a small issue when leaving the hotel because 2 bottles bought outside were counted as belonging to the minibar (which they didn't), but this was quickly corrected. Nice situation, easy to move around.

This hotel is impressive from the front and the lobby is fantastic. This led to us being a little disappointed with the small, out of date room. However, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location is really central and we had a really nice stay. We definitely got more than we paid for and we'll probably stay there again if we can get the same deal.

Perfect location to shopping, sight seeing and train station. The concierge is a gem, helping a tourist find her way. The room was clean and comfy, a bit pricey but worth it. Beware the train station is not the place for night strolling with folks sleeping on the sidewalks.

We had an appointment in US Embassy in Paris (Which is very close to Louvre) and Concorde Opera was in the walking distance, it is just next to Saint-Lazare Station too, so its location is perfect. The building and its lobby are wonderful and our room was spacious and comfortable. The price of the breakfast was steep, but we needed to leave early anyway so it didn't bother us. Overall, it is a good hotel for short business stays and I think that it will serve well the tourists too.

Very good value for money

Contrary to its reception area which looks very impressive, the rooms look old and in a dire need for refurbishment. More of a tired 3-star hotel. The price was not bad for Paris, but the rooms are not soundproof, ours was looking straight into the St lazarre station and the train announcements will wake you up in the morning. The room-service and breakfast prices are obscene for what is actually a 3 star hotel

wonderful in every way

Although the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent the decor is a little tired looking and needs a re-vamp. Difficult to fault otherwise. Staff excellent, the reception has the wow factor and the location is first class. We stayed on the fifth floor and did not notice any problem with noise, if fact it offers wonderfull views . Yes the breakfast is expensive but when we tried is was very good. Happily stay there again JS Birmingham

WOW ! What a fantastic hotel. We have stayed in many hotels throughout the world and this one ranks with the best. The hotel is in easy reach of all the sights and attractions and I could not fault a single thing with it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I will definatley be returning here. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Paris. The hotel and room were very clean. The location is great and walkable to many attractions. There is also a train station right next door that can get you to the rest of them The concierge was top notch as well in giving us good hints on how to get the most out of our trip and great restaurants in the area or throughout paris.

Upon entering the lobby you think you have reserved a four star room. Once you are in the room it's a whole different story. Peeling walls, no outlet or hairdryer in bathroom. Crazy water temp variation while you are showering. Toilets that run, the room was totally outdated not in a good French classic way. The bed was hard as a rock. I will never stay here again. They graciously offered to VIP upgrade me on my next stay but I won't be back. Paris hotels are a crap shoot for sure. Go with a US chain if you can.

The rooms need to be updated. The staff is very nice, but bathrooms were very dated and dirty.

I booked this hotel without knowing how we would get around Paris. The hotel is located near a major train station and metro lines, which was nice considering we were pedestrians during our visit. The hotel staff was both friendly & helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed. The historic hotel & lobby was a bit more formal than we anticipated for our "backpacking" adventure, but we enjoyed the luxury for the 2 days we were there.
