Helpful and nice personel. Perfectly situated in the heart of Lyon in a silent area. Good breakfast. Next time probably the same hotel.

We are satisfied with our accomidtion in this Hotel , the in General it is Relay 4 Star Hotel as it advertized, our disappounment was with Open Buffy breakfast as it is very basic, baby seat in the restaurant was Problem and very bad

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the Old Town. It's in a very historic, safe and walkable area, yet quiet. Our room was small, as most are in France, but it was comfortable and met our needs. Couldn't ask for a better location for access to all Lyon has to offer.

The rooms were large and clean and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The Grand Hotel is ideally located near Bellecour, Lyon's central plaza. It is easy to get from there to other parts of Lyon, either by metro, or walking if you are a New Yorker, as we are, and so quite use to walks that for others might seem a bit long. The breakfast, which was included, was quite nice, not the sort of lean cuisine one sometimes finds in Europe. You can also walk to Old Lyon from the hotel, a very pleasant walk across one of the city's many bridges.

I stayed here on business for a couple of nights, and the location and service were very good. Staff were friendly and attentive. My only criticism would be that the rooms were a little outdated - the building was gorgeous, but the fittings were a bit tired. However, my room was scrupulously clean, and included helpful items such as an extra blanket (although not tea and coffee facilities, which for the price I paid, I would expect). Overall, comfortable.

Easy to find Hotel. Looked good from outside. Rececption staff nice and spoke good English, nice entrance ambiance etc, but once we got to the room this feelgood factor ended!! Room was rather dated and in much need of a re-fit! Old fashioned tired bathrooms, with antiquated baths and sinks etc. Carpets worn! We arrived and stayed on a Sunday, Bad Luck in France! Restaurant & BAR BOTH CLOSED ON SUNDAY'S!!. We asked room service for an ice bucket as we had had the sence to pack a bottle of champagne. It took 2 attempts by the Bell Boy to bring us an ice Bucket (he said he would have to unlock the bar area (which he was not supposed to do) to obtain some ice! He brought up a cereal bowl of ice!! I have to nicely ask again for a Champagne Ice Bucket, and said I would need to have a manager sent up to my room if this could not be done! Hey Presto! He managed to find an ice bucket with enough ice to chill our champagne. He also kindly supplied an iron & ironing board for us. Breakfast next morning was nice and adequate. This Hotel could be superb with a refit, but at the moment, it does not deserve the title - Boscolo GRAND!! We enjoyed the central position and just up the road was an underground locked and very safe car park which we used.

The hotel was great. But free wifi is today a must for roaming clients with smartphones and IPADS.

Had a good stay. Some problems. Lack of airconditioning. But, staff pleasant which makes a big difference to the stay. Breakfast basic, but included in my rate and so didn't mind too much. Bed comfortable, and good soundproofing in rooms. Bathroom a bit out of date (shower over bath which didnt attach to the wall) but clean and everything worked. Would stay again at the right price

The Grand Hotel Boscolo is not so gand any more- rather old and delapidated and run down. Room keys need to be jiggled for long minutes before working, wi-fi is not complimentary anywhere in the hotel and service is limited. Air conditioning obviously didn't work and it was 30 C outside. The position is good - but there are many options in that area. Don't go there. Needs serious renovation.

Bar closed at 2230 on Sat night. Too early! Bar was shut all day on Sunday & there was NO Room Service available on Sunday. Explanation given was that it was due to "renovations". No sign of ANY renovations or building work

Easy walk to the major sites. Hotel has friendly staff willing to help. A bit odd that there is no room service available on Sundays. Comfortable but small room, but nice furnishings. Ok value for the money.

I read previous reviews...which were mixed as you might expect. This is, what I would describe, as a "traditional" large hotel and just what I wanted for me and my 2 children. It isn't a Raddison or Novotel, so if that's what you're looking for, that's where to go. The rooms are large and airy, very comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was just right with a mix of good cereals, fruit, local breads/pastries and some cooked It's about 10 minutes from Part Dieu by cab and easy walking distance of the nicest parts of Lyon. The staff were quite excellent... all multilingual and very helpful. We loved it and would stay again without question.

We arrived after midnight for a one night stay and were well received at reception - we were given a nice big room with huge bed and slept well. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and was good. Overall good impression - would go there again. Also perfect location for shopping!

A very nice, clean and friendly hotel. Ideally situated close to the main square, shops and Old Town. Hotel was comfrotable and full of charm, with spacious and well kept rooms. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The location of this hotel is excellent being near to the heart of the city. However it definitely needs a renovation. Others might look at its current state as charming and the rates are reasonable considering the other nearby hotels. Unfortunately, it maintains a policy of charging for internet access, which all modern hotels should abandon.

I booked a double room which seemed overpriced considering the quality of the room. It was not what was expected considering the hotel is 4 stars and the price of the room. The room seemed quite basic which was disappointing. It had a double bed, TV, bedside draws and a table. The minibar was not very well stocked and there was no kettle, tea or coffee facilities in the room.

the hotel was old fashioned, yet the room was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was updated and very nice and bright! The beds were also comfortable. However, the outdoor shutters that were out on the balcony to block the light were dirty and full of spiderwebs! The hotel is centrally located and the breakfast was fine. It was in an old fashioned room, there was nothing fancy on offer, but it was satisfying. When we called the front desk to ask a question about the safe in the room, an attendant came up in no time to help us out. Also, when my son had to make a long distance phone call, they assisted him and let him use the hotel phone. That was very kind of them!

The hotel was clean and tidy and well furnished. The reception staff spoke good English. and were helpful. We parked the car in an underground car park close by which was secure and not expensive. Breakfast was very good as was the dining area.

Lovely old hotel in the centre of town. Reception very helpful and gave us a bigger room to accommodate our crib, (Room was huge). Limited parking at the hotel and you need to book it I had to park in a nearby garage station. Right in town and next to the river a great spot. Good experience.

Hotel was beautiful with wonderful staff, but quite a distance from the old town area where all of the action happens.

What a excellent hotel for our stop over en route to Spain. Excellent service,room and breakfast -5 star central hotel. Will be going back again

We were a family of three travelling southbound in France and selected Lyon for stop-over due to cuisine. Hotel was only 10 minutes walking from "Rue de Beuf" where we had a gourmet dinner in the evening. 5 minutes to the main shopping alley was appreciated in the morning by wife and kid. Service was excellent all over Car parking was safely managed within view from the reception . Breakfast. was 4-star with a plus for keeping the ham and cheese i a desktop cooler.

Central location, big room, massive bed though it could have been updated to more modern version. Overall, good value for money.

great hotel, great location, wonderful staff.

Me and my partner booked one night in the Boscolo Grand hotel in August 2009 and had a fantastic stay. From the moment you are greeted by reception staff to the moment you leave you will have a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a perfect location to explore the city, right on the river. The reception staff welcome you with a warm smile and are very knowledgable about the hotel and its local area. We booked a double classic room and upon arrival we got upgraded to a higher class room which was fantastic. As we drove to Lyon we asked if they had a car park for our stay, to which they did. This was resonably priced and very secure with a member of staff on duty in the garage 24/7. The room was extremely clean and well presented. We especially like the tall ceillings in the rooms and the large victorian windows. Everything was supplied for your stay in the room including WIFI. On the following day the reception gave us a map and highlighted places to visit and recommended certain spots not to miss. We opted for the breakfast option which was very nice and had everything expected of a typical French breakfast. Check out was very quick and simple, and again collecting the car was very easy to do. This is the second time we have stayed at the Boscolo Grand hotel whilst visiting Lyon and will definately do so again. I would definately recommend this hotel to people wishing to visit Lyon.

Chambre petite, murs peu épais laissant passer beaucoup de bruit, mais correct dans l'ensemble. La porte vétuste de la chambre inspire la méfiance.Hôtel particulièrement bien placé. Confirmation rapide de la réservation.

mauvais rapport qualité prix Un peu vetuste pour le prix

Très grand hôtel, rapport qualité prix = excelent. Réservation par internet en 5 minutes confirmation idem, parfait. Très bonne situation à côté des magasins , de cinés et des petits restos, si arrivée en voiture parkings à 2 pas. Pour 18h environs de parking = environs 25 euros.

Hôtel très bien situé au centre ville, idéal pour les visites. Pas de bruit. Bon petit déjeuner de qualité Accueil sympathique et attentionné C'est juste que les matelas sont un peu durs, si on a pas l'habitude.

Hôtel en plein centre, très bien situé. Taxi, bus, metro à proximité! Idéal pour les week-end shopping! Le personnel de l'établissement est accueillant et très professionnel. Le seul bémol est la déco de l'hôtel ou au moins celle de la chambre que l'on a eu, quelque peu arriérée... Pour finir, le petit dejeuner est vraiment top, il y en a pour tout les gouts!

二つの川に挟まれ、どちら側にも観光に行きやすく、駅までも5分くらいで、繁華街にも近い。 ホテルのスタッフも親切でした。

光の祭典のために行ったので立地を重視。通りから１本入った所にあるので周りは静かでした。 子連れでしたがスロープとエレベーターもあり、朝食時には子供用の椅子（になるアイテム）も出してもらえて特に困る事はありませんでした。

Très beau hall d'entrée mais chambre décevante, aurait besoin d'un relookage.

Leider verspricht das Hotel nicht das, was man vom Preis her erwartet. Viel zu teuer für das was es bietet. Zimmer ohne Charme. Kann ich nicht empfehlen.

Hôtel très bien placé, propre et tout ça, mais bon sans eau chaude pour la douche matinale, c'est pas possible. D'autant que la direction n'a alors rien fait pour nous aider, renvoyant la balle à Hôtels.com... Qui n'y peut pas grand chose. Bref, on ne peut pas recommander ...

Le confort et l'aménagement ne nous semblent pas d'un niveau 4*. Nous supposons que ces * sont attribuées principalement sur la base de l'emplacement... A notre arrivée, la place de parking que nous avions réservée via hotel.com n' était pas disponible. Heureusement, après discussions, nous avons tout de même pu obtenir une place pour notre voiture... Le personnel a été très accueillant, trés agréable et de très bon conseil pour les visites du site. Toutefois, le rapport qualité/prix ne nous incite pas à conseiller cet hotel, ni à y retourner.

ホテルとしては、まあ～満足しています。買い物をするには、便利だと思います。　フロントの対応も親切でしたし、お部屋も綺麗でした。

pas de wifi dans les chambres et payant dans le lobby !

Hotel tres agreable,calme la nuit et pres des fameux bouchons Lyonnais!!Quelques refections serait a prevoir,balcons defraichis par exemple!!Bon rapport qualites prix!!
