what a wonderful place. The Best service, the Best Food, the Best Location

Have been staying at this property since 1984.. staff always on their game. Front desk, valet, and all staff know their jobs and exceed expectations.. Always a pleasure to stay here. Even got an upgrade upon arrival. Close to everything. Purple Cafe and Wine bar across the street, and Wild Ginger two blocks walk. Came in for the NW FLower and Garden show.. Great location, always a pleasant stay!

Older Charm and Elegance, fantastic location and wonderfully comfortable rooms. I love this place.

The hotel service was nice, although the valet and bellman wait for tips - not what I would expect from a 5 star rated hotel. Parking is way expensive in this area, and be careful because some of the garages close on Sundays and you have to pay a fee to get your car out. Convenient location and that has shopping and coffee nearby. Watch the extra fees for everything - internet, room service.

Great hotel, but pool closes at 9:00 and no kids after 8:00. No coffee makers, frig, or microwaves in rooms. This is a big downfall!

great place to stay-good fitness area

Very fine choice with good restaurants, great location and service. Health club is very good and opens early. Only points off were for the single pane windows which were surprising in such a major city and you could hear the street traffic a little too well.

The good: Great hotel, beautiful building, awesome location and service, super comfortable room. The bad: pricey parking ($42/night), no free wi-fi,

I've never stayed in a place of such quality. They made me feel like obese important or famous. The door man remembered my name right away...i thought it was super cool. The bed and pillow was the best thing I've ever laid in before. I can't wait to go back!!

We had a wonderful time relaxing before heading out for adventure and an amazing swim to knock the slurry out the next morning. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to stay for the holidays

Not just a hotel, but an experience. So glad we stayed here.

This is just several blocks away from the space needle.. gives a good reason to walk a little. The indoor pool/workout room is great. Valet was convenient and they were able to give me a couple more hours extra for my check out. The only CON i can say is the valet parking price.

My husband and I really enjoyed the service at the Fairmont. The people were very friendly and had answers to everything, even directions to the closest Walgreens because I left my flat iron at home :) The only thing that we would have like were some more modern amenities. There was a fridge, but it was full of their things so it was hard for us to put juice in it, and maybe a microwave to warm something up. Other than that a PERFECT stay.

Great experience from start to finish. Shuckers is a great restaurant located in the hotel and I would highly recommend it. Pool/sauna area is also great.

Really enjoyed staying at the Olympic. Old fashioned elegance with up to date amenities. Staff is very attentive to guests needs. Great location in the heart of downtown Seattle. I found out my mother stayed here on a visit to Seattle 60+ years ago and remembers it well.

My 36-year-old daughter and I rented a junior suite for Christmas Eve. The staff was very welcoming, the room gorgeous and the huge tree in the lobby added to the ambiance. It was an enchanting way to celebrate Christmas in Seattle.

The Hotel and services were Great. Did not eat in the hotel other than great room service. The bed was a little soft for My taste. A Wonderful Christmas adventure.☺

Extremely well trained staff; public areas and room maintained to highest standard; seafood restaurant and lobby bar food excellent. Location between 4th & 5th in middle of business area and at southest end of shopping. 4th & 5th have good shops for the 4 blocks to the other end of the shopping area where Macy's and Nordstrom are located. Parking is in building across street from hotel with easy in and out.

The Fairmont is a grand old hotel. It's a beautiful building, and the driveway has the flash and glamour of a big-city hotel in times gone by: the liveried doormen and valets, the constant arrivals and departures. Personally, I prefer a boutique hotel with hip decor, but that's apples to oranges. People don't come to the Fairmont for hip. The Fairmont is grand, imposing, and a little conservative looking. I can't fault the service or cleanliness.

My wife and I were very pleased that the Fairmont lived up to the reviews we read before booking this hotel. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We enjoyed the Georgian Restaurant, the food and service were very good.

Really disappointed to fine the hot tub was out of commission. Beautiful pool area and spa.

The service was incredible! Began the moment we arrived and righ up to the time of departure. The staff was impressive. I ordered room service (breakfast) that was not all that desirable. The service made up for the lack of quality in the food department. I would stay again but have all of our meals off the premise.

Great staff - curbside experts. Room was old school - very clean, nice and very comfy. Lobby is nice to sit and have a cocktail. And these guys make a great cocktail.

The staff of the hotel went above and beyond. The location cannot be beat. Excellent!

The best! Even had terry robes and slippers. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

So beautiful; so accomodating; so close to everything we wanted to do. Wish I was going back there today. I am recommending it to EVERYONE.

Stayed there with my two teenage kids. Service was excellent, staff very, very friendly and helpful, room very clean and well equipped (2 tv sets not really necessary), only thing missing was coffee maker in the room (but starbucks nearby). We'd stay here again anytime!!!!!

Excellent hoel with high quality service and overall experience. would def recomend to anyone who wants an excellent hotel at a very reasonable price.

Loved the hotel for our daughter's wedding event - the ambience, elegance, location, and staff. As you walk into a suite you're met with the closet as your first impression which separates the sitting area from the bath and dressing area. Feels boxy but buy some flowers from the market and you'll be fine. Our kids got room 824. That room sits on a corner - it was superior to our suite. Overall though The Fairmont was an ideal choice.

Beautiful hotel with quality service but I did not like that the business center where you had to pay for internet access. I did not bring my laptop and to print my boarding pass did not happen at the hotel itself. The dinner at The Georgian was wonderful and first class service.

A lovely hotel with all of the services that you would expect of a five star property.

If you want the drapes closed you have to cover the AC vent. I'm not sure this problem is in other rooms.

Very easy to get from SeaTac airport for just a few dollars by train. The hotel was just a short block or two away. Walking distance to Pike's Market place to see "flying" fish. Chuhuly glass displays within walking distance. Even going to Tacoma by bus a couple of blocks away was just a few dollars to the Museum of Glass.

All good except a bad view for a high price
