Room looked lived in, I requested non smoking and they gave me smoking cuz they didn't reserve me a non smoking. Got startled as my door got pounded on at 6am by strangers. But the rooms are nice if everything had been right.

Hotel was more of an apartment complex. People talking in halls about being there for months,working in the area. Felt like not for the business traveler. But, clean hotel and front desk clerk on the night I stayed very helpful and friendly. Would not stay again, too much noise late in evening in hallways.

Hotel is conveniently located, clean and well-maintained. Staff were very professional and helpful.

As we were checking in there was a horrible stinky smell in the lobby. We were on the second floor and it was not even close to quiet, the people over us were noisy until 2 am!

Large room with work area, table a little shaky, older TV, plenty of space so you didn't feel cramped. only vending machines on site. Linens need to be replaced with brand new, clean but stained. Good for a 1 nighter, not sure I would do any more than that next time.

Had the nicest room I have ever stayed. It was big, comfortable and complete with table, chair and lighting which was perfect for work.

When I. Get to the hotel they haved gived my room to ather guy on my name just like if I check in oredy and I spem more than a ahoura waiting for a room

Descent hotel for a fair price. No breakfast bar but provided juice and granola bars. Pet friendly and easy highway access.

Hotel is a get what you pay for kind of place. Just needed a bed to lay in, relax, shower, and get ready again in the morning. Bonus for having Batman Begins for me to rewatch on DVD. Also has a great kitchen area to prepare your own meals with shopping close by.

Rude staff, clean room, easy to find.

PROS: With the full kitchen, an economical choice for extended stays. Units are comfortable, well maintained, excellent climate control system (both heat & A/C work well & are thermostat controlled), responsive front desk staff, and all details are supplied (regular and automatic dishwasher soap, salt & pepper, all dishes and cookware & utensils, high quality large fridge with automatic ice maker, 2-burner electric stove, toaster, bathroom toiletries, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, etc.). Free laundry is a major plus. Property is very clean and well managed and maintained. I will definitely stay here again for my future extended stays in Denver. CONS: Bed mattress is comfortable but starting to sag. Pillows far too small and notably uncomfortable - I bought my own at the nearby Wal-Mart. TV is OK but needs updating. Breakfast just OK (every day the same: orange or apple juice & granola bars & commercial, not fresh, muffins). ADDITIONAL NOTES: Maid service just once a week, but understandable for extended says -- and it helps to keep the hotel rates down, which is appreciated.

The hotel room was clean and it served me very well. I needed a place to sleep that was close to my friends house. It was an added bonus that there was a microwave and refrigerator. It came in handy for storing and reheating left overs. The location was near quite a few shopping stores and restaurants.

Really enjoyed how the staff valued the privacy of each guest yet were attentive to their needs and were very friendly. The room was extremely clean and well kept.

I booked this hotel because of blizzard conditions and the price of $55. The hotel stunk walking down the hallway and the room felt like a box with no personality. The staff acted like it was an inconvience that I was there checking in so late. I had to check our real early and also seemed like I was bothering them. When they saw that I booked third party, she gave me the cold shoulder.

While the room was clean and comfortable, the air throughout the hotel just smelled of stale smoke.

The hallway reaked of pot smoke for two nights. I heard a dog barking in the mornings. I wouldn't feel safe if I was staying there by myself.

The stay was good.

My stay at the Hawthorn in DTC was a good one. The hotel is clean inside and out, and the rate was very affordable for my 3-night stay. It's pretty much a self-service hotel, which can be a good thing. They could use a better TV and channels, but internet and a DVD player come with the room, and there are many DVD's at the front desk. The Hawthorn also has a small gym, laundry, and pricey vending machines. It's about 20 minutes, or so, south of downtown Denver, so a rental car will come in handy, but there's big-box retail and national and local eats nearby.

Was a great hotel for the price. Clean, comfortable bed, and good location in the city.

Very good value for the price. Microwave, refrigerator and small stove all convenient touches. Basic tv package. Location has good access to I25 and many good Resteraunts, some within easy walking distance. I'd certainly stay their again.

Very good. Not the Bellagio, or 5 star resort, but clean and good room with a comfortable bed. Also have some popcorn for you in the microwave to enjoy, and the gym is clean. Thank you also for having movies to watch while I stayed the night.

good stay. the room was clean with a little kitchen area, the bed was comfortable, and the service was nice. they even have dvd's you can borrow to watch. if the tv was a bit bigger, there would be no complaints at all. Thanks for a great stay and great price!!!

Overall, the stay was OK. The most frustrating about my stay was the thermostat. The thermostat shut off at night and when we went out. I slept in my winter coat, gloves and hat to stay warm. If you don't care about the room temperature, it is worth a stay.

Nice place nice staff a little noisy but i would come back and i would recommend to friends .

Value for room during home recarpet and floor refinishing. Not a resort but the price was not either. All you need for an "extended stay".

I had minor knee surgery earlier in the day, and when my husband and I arrived, I was on crutches. they immediately gave us an accessible room and brought extra pillows to prop up my leg. I was very comfortable. it was helpful having the grab bars in the bathroom, and the kitchenette. It was just 2 exits from Centrum Surgical center, so it was convenient both post-surgery and also to go back the next morning for my post-surgery checkup.

I would say that Hawthorne Suites was not luxurious, but efficient. Our suite had everything we needed, including a refrigerator, dishwasherµwave. We were thrilled to find that laundry was free (an unexpected bonus) and it was close to Walmart. A short drive away is a Target, Barnes&Noble, Starbucks, etc. we were also relieved to find they are pet friendly (for a $15/night fee) However, the hotel was dingy& far from the city. We found old beer caps under the furniture from previous guests, and the towels smelled funny, but the beds were very comfortable and the staff was very kind&helpful, and the price very reasonable.

For the most part, we were really happy with this hotel. Check-in was easy, the room was great (included a mini-kitchen), and the location is really convenient (just a few blocks from I-25). The one problem was that the handle of the bathroom door was broken in such a way that you couldn't open it from the inside (!) It would be really easy for a single person to get himself locked in. We notified the front desk, so hopefully it will be fixed. (We didn't need them to fix it immediately for us, since we're a couple and were always in the room together.)
