Ramada Bayside / Queens Conference Center - بايسايد

It was not the best nor the worse. For the price the neighborhood was not bad and a friendly staff. What they could use is a second elevator.

We got a double queen room, for a family of 5. There was no room for an extra bed. But for the price it was worth it The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean & there were no bugs. The cheapest way to get around is bus & subway, the area is fine. There is a Dunkin Donuts, Wendy's & Burger king across the road where we ate breakfast each morning.

It was H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E!! The breakfast was awful. The food was basically leftovers. The milk wasn't refrigerated. We saw the waiter pick up the bagel with his bare hands. The coffee and tea was cold. One toast one croissant one bagel french toast, cereal and orange juice was over $50.00. Forget about the money but the food had no quality. The mangers weren't friendly.

For the budget concious this is the ideal location. Bus stop in front of the hotel, takes you directly to the train station! Very nice staff, clean room, VERY CONVEINENT PARKING!!! Safe neighborhood, lots of great restaurants close by! We would definetly stay here again!

I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Stayed here knowing it wasn't going to be anything special but got here and was completely creeped out. super dated and dingy. First thing I did was strip the bed to check for bugs (there weren't any). I was glad the door had extra locks for protection. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location right off the Highway. Good price for what is a basic hotel with Ramada quality.

Parking not great, particularly Sat. Night. Driveway out blocked. No hotel enforcement of parking restrictions in lot.

Clean, comfortable,cheap. Off street parking. Few blocks to long island railroad, and restaurants. The only thing if I had to nitpick was the elevator smelled a little.

Everything was fine, hotel had ample parking and access to a health club, but the health club is several blocks away.

Confession -- I grew up in Bayside, so I know the neighborhood, and know what a terrific, convenient place it is. The shops and restaurants on Bell Blvd. and Bay Terrace. The Long Island RR, and many bus lines to Flushing for getting easily into the City. Location, location, location -- but then, it's my "home turf," so I can get the best out of it. This is my second time staying at the Ramada, on Northern Blvd, when I have been in town catching up with family & friends, and if there is anywhere you can do better for the money, I would really like to hear about it. The room was clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The parking is good (a bit small, but I always got a space) and secure. Breakfast in the on-site restaurant was excellent, and very reasonable (dinner is a bit pricey, for me -- but the various eateries of Bell Blvd are a ten minute walk away). Is the decor a bit faded? The carpets a little worn? Sure -- but who cares? No one is forcing me to live there permanently! These details may show that I only stayed one night, but actually this was one night I added to a four night stay, when my travel plans changed -- and the Ramada staff went out of their way to help me make the change conveniently, and at the best rate possible.

While the hotel staff was as helpful as possible, and they were certainly courteous, there is very little the staff can do about the fact that this hotel is, invariably, old and out of date. It needs to be renovated. Even from their "parking garage" which can comfortably fit all of four cars, to the elevator which probably hasn't passed inspection for the last twenty years. The hallways are barely wide enough to accommodate one person, this hotel is in dire need of renovation. For the price, your money is best spent elsewhere.

Needs new carpeting throughout Lobby, Elevator, Room.

The Ramada is a very comfortable hotel with every convenience. The staff are very friends and cooperative. We have stayed on a number of occasions at this hotel and have always been satisifed.

The cost of the breakfast at the restaurant was outrageous. It was neither reflective of the quality or quantity. The hotel is rundown. Would not recommend.

its a very comfortable place to stay and very close and convenient to la guardia airport. Its surrounded in a peaceful area and has a few good spots to dine in. Transportation to downtown and times square is really easy by bus and subway. If your not used to traveling by bus or subway then this is not your hotel to stay in. Overall its a good cozy place to stay at very quiet and during winter rooms are extra warm.

Metro service is very good and hence this is a good location to stay. But hotel is very old and lot of structural damage inside the rooms. Bath tubs very old, carpets already dirty, bed skirts tored. No customer service at all. People have forgotten smile looks like...

The room where I stayed was very small for the two queen size beds. I can't fully pull out the desk chair since it is blocked by one of the beds. The wireless network has strong signal but difficulty connecting; guess it's just incompatibility with my laptop. The custodian knocked on my door in the morning asking when I will leave; sounds like she prefers me to leave earlier than the hotel's official check out time.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my husbands birthday at Marbella's. This restaurant is connected to this hotel. The food was wonderful the staff was a joy and they make the best Sangria. The hotel is old but clean and orderly. We will stay here again.

The hotels location was good for me because i needed to go to fort totten and it is only 2miles away. the room i stayed in was clean. the sink to wash your hands though is outside the bathroom.
