This is a worn out hotel with fair service and crazy prices. Internet was charged over crazy. Breakfast is over the mark. Too many busloads of convention people with the lobby filled with luggage all day, every day. Very good location but there are much better places to stay.

No complaints with this hotel. Convenient location. Great room facing the Sea. Good restaurants. Nice shopping on site. Definitely stay there again.

busy business hotel, high class but not with a warmy touch. Food at most of restaurant (start with a "F") forgot the name, was a disater, cannot believe they charge so much for a few things to eat during breakfast. Extremely costly internet cost, almost Rupees 1000 per day. It is old fashion of hanging out "DONT DISTurb" card out the room. It is mostly electronic nowdays, and can be control by just a button. I will definitely stay somewhere else next time when I am in Mumbai.

Arrived early and left late thanks to the front desk and Delna and Sachin at the concierge desk. Outstanding service. Great view of the bay.

This is a luxury hotel with all the service and the high standard (and security at the entrance) that comes with it. Even though we arrived from the airport sweaty and with dirty backpacks, we were greeted with smiling courtesy all around. All the staff speak perfect English and are very friendly and helpful. We had paid extra to get a sea view room, and the view was amazing, as was the standard of the room. We had planned to have dinner elsewhere but ended up having a late dinner in India Jones (one of the restaurants, with Asian cuisine) after kindly being admitted without a reservation. The food was great, as was the service. Next morning we tried the breakfast buffet in Frangipani, which was simply amazing. It wasn't included, but when we checked out the bill for the breakfast hadn't arrived, and so we were treated to it anyway. The only downside with Frangipani is that the acoustics make it rather noisy. Try the smaller lounge buffet for a calmer breakfast. We had our second dinner at Frangipani (Italian and Indian cuisine) which was also very good, but had the same noise problem in the evening. Also note that Frangipani doesn't serve alcohol. Both the hotel and the restaurants are heartily recommended.

Hotel is well kept. Service is good and location is excellent.

I had a great time here. The only thing I would complain about is that the internet service is ridiculously expensive. I payed 100 dollars for a five day internet connection in my room. The most expensive in all my one month trip through india.

Excellent hotel! Great breakfast buffets were included. Pool is gorgeous. Got a free upgrade to an ocean view, king-size bed room. Would love to return!

I had a room for 3 days for which i had paid the regular rates but sad part of it that the room rent dosen't cover breakfast.Then what is use of staying in such costly hotel ? I think all rents should cover the breakfast.I will not prefer as well not recommend this hotel any one for the stay.Many beautiful hotels are around nariman point area.

Probably one of the best hotel experiences I've had in India primarily due to the exceptional service by the hotel staff.

One of the old classics of Bombay. The Trident - Oberoi resides in the plush Nariman Point district of Bombay and offers breath taking views of Marine Drive. The staff is uber courteous and the rates are reasonable, given that this is a five star hotel. The rooms are clean and functional..nothing spectacular. The service quality is by far one of the best I have had. Highly recommend this hotel..

The hotel is amazing and had a wonderful time. The breakfast was not included but they let us have it anyway. It was the best part of the stay. The staff was always extra nice. In room dining was superb. 5 out of 5 all the way!

The Trident hotel was lovely. it is ideally located close to Malls and the main shopping areas of Colaba. The staff were fantastic, and the hotel provided a wonderful tranquil escape from the chaos of the city of Mumbai.

Excellent service - nothing too much trouble, from adaptors to being shown to my room on arrival. The pool is fabulous and overlooks the Marine Drive and sea. Pool service is also great, with wet flannel, complinentary suncream and water. I'd recommend this place for those looking for a hotel in a good location with the retreat of a lovely pool at the end of a day in Mumbai.

When I checked in, I was told that there were no non-smoking rooms. The smoking room was not only smelly, but also poorly appointed. The following day, I was moved to a non-smoking room which was far better in terms of smell and decor. The hotel staff were consistently excellent - very attentive and professional.

situated right on the water, with a great, clean wide walking pathway to enjoy walks along the water. staff were wonderful, and helpful with what ever we needed. Beds are a little harder but we like the westin very soft style. Great water pressure and bathrooms with bathtubs. most of the rooms have black out blinds which work very well. we were lucky if the hotel was full to get upgraded if our class of room was not open, the updated rooms are AMAZING! hardwoods, open bathrooms to enjoy the views. Food and buffet is very tasty though seems to be very similar every night, mixed but more india than not. Very clean. newer rooms are not musty at all. the gym though only open till 10 is very well equipped. business center open 24 hours, are totally there to help when i needed 5 sets of presentations when our case never arrived. Great hotel if you need to be towards the south of bombay.

Great location by the seaside close to the main financial and business district, within walking distance to a number of sights, restaurants and attractions. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Attentive staff and overall a nice oasis to return to after a day out in Mumbai. Highly recommend this especially if you are getting a per day rate of less than 200 USD.

Good location in the downtown area with nice view from rooms towards the sea. Staff and service fine.

We wanted a hotel that was conveniently located in downtown Mumbai, had a view and offered luxury at an affordable price. We never regretted choosing the Trident! OWe had booked a club room which came with free shuttle in a nice limousine from the airport and on arrivale at the hotel we were taken straight up to the club floor where we could check into our beautiful corner room overlooking the sea and the city and without further delay even though it was only 10.30 am. the room was very tastefully decorated and the access to the lounge worth it's money with a delicious breakfast, really nice coffee and excellent choice of treats during high tea and cocktail hour. After spending the day in a hot and dusty city that was just what kept us going! The pool itlsef was nice and the service great. The only negative would be the traffic flowing around (which you could not see but hear) and the clouds of curry smell that were wafting through the air. There are some nice restarurants in the area and Gateway of India only a three minute taxi drive away - again lost of restaurants and entertainment. Security was superb and we felt very safe and service was outstanding, polite, concerned without being in yiur face all the time! We would definitely go back!

only drawback is that everything is quite pricey for Indian standards but very comparable to what you'd find in the Western world. Staff are incredibly friendly and food very good indeed.

la qualite du buffet pourrait etre améliorée

Direkt am Marine Drive gelegen und nur 10 Gehmimuten vom Indian Gate entfernt. Wir hatten eine fantastische Aussicht über die Skyline Mumbais. Der Service und die Zimmer entsprechen den Erwartungen die man von einem 5 Sterne Hotel hat. Perfekt!

hotel confortable sans plus; ne mérite pas 5 étoiles, mais entre 3 et 4 selon nos standards. Pas de service > 21 heures pour diner etc piscine trouble terrasse avec vue sur des immeubles. bref hotel d'étape correct mais pas pour des vacances

Grand hôtel avec un certain luxe dans la déco et les services. Deux restos , un pour la gastronomie et l'autre plus familial. Possibilité de change. Bien tenu, les chambres sont propres et équipées de matériel moderne. Possibilité d'avoir une vue sur la mer à proximité. Très bonne situation: possibilité de se promener sur le bord de mer et de visiter les sites historiques à proximité, en s'y rendant à pied.

Confort et service parfait ! En 3 jours l'ingénieur en informatique n'a jamais pu nous donner l'accès à internet même en wi-fi. : Dommage ! A recommander pour ceux qui peuvent y mettre le prix et cherchent un hôtel international sans la touche locale

Alt det fundamentale var i top. God kvalitet af service overalt, fine værelser, fantastisk udsigt, hvis man tager et værelse ud mod havet og ekstremt venligt personale. Men hotellets fælles opholdsrum er sterile, blottet for hygge eller charme. Sikkert effektive til forretningsmøder, men ikke til at sætte sig ned og falde til ro efter en hektisk dag ude i byen - enten ved forretningsmøder eller sightseeing.

Kan varmt rekommendera Trident. Hotellet ligger utmed Marine Drive med en fantastisk utsikt över hela bukten. Nära till ex Gate of India och andra centrala platser och sevärdheter.

Superhotell! Verkligen att rekommendera. Frukostbuffén var grym!

Hôtel très bien situé, de nombreux restaurants très proches, à côté du National Center for Performing Arts.... Piscine très agréable et propre. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de jus de mangue frais au bar alors que c'est la pleine saison des mangues.
