Great location for any of the football and hockey games. Staff helpful and friendly. Has a restaurant the food is average, small amounts but the staff is also great.

Great location, close to all the must see parts of Vancouver. See Brad the Concierge he was super helpfull and made our stay very easy. We will return.

Don't stay at Rosedale on Robson unless you are satisfied with the bare minimum. The room is a suite with a kitchenette, but felt small and stark with dark blue carpet and furniture (which somehow gave the impression of being possibly unclean, though it's really hard to tell). Old TV. Old bathroom fixtures. The plumbing makes loud pounding noises at one point, which caused me to stop using the bathroom sink. The shower had low water pressure. The toilet never flushes completely. The kitchenette was complete with a mini-fridge, sink, microwave, and stove top. However, no pots or utensils were supplied. Only a few bowls, glasses, and a old water kettle, which I was afraid to use due to brown ?coffee/tea stains. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Wireless internet was available for an additional fee ($5.6/24 hours). I was on the 12th floor with typical city view into other apartment buildings and I had no trouble with noise. The location is great if you want to be near Canada Place, otherwise you can easily do better in a city like Vancouver. The service was only adequate. $1/bag/day was charged if you leave your luggage with the concierge. Overall, the hotel is usable, but somewhat uncomfortable, mostly due to the substandard bathroom and substandard kitchen supplies. I can see how this hotel can be satisfactory for a young family on a budget or a group of young people attending an event at Canada Place. However, if you are a single traveller, a business traveller, a couple looking for a romantic getaway, or if you are looking for a more comfortable suite experience (at least up to the standard of doubletree or staybridge), then you should really look elsewhere. Many other options are available in Vancouver with better value.

Great location, minutes to the theater and great restaurants. On site restaurant isn't open very late which was a small let down. Will stay there again.

Convenient location (across the street, actually) to a wedding reception that was held in the Vancouver Public Library foyer. Nice hotel and good pub/restaurant on location too. Great for sports fans as it is close to BC Place and the Roger's Arena. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel bed was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood set on a concrete block, the pillows were all lumpy and the bathroom was so small there was no space to sit on the toilet as the wall in front of it was too close. The cleanliness was less than acceptable to me. I cancelled the room after one night's stay, we were orignally booked to stay two nights but there was no way I was about stay there any longer than I had to. Not happy - won't ever be back.

The room was absolutely phenomenal. It had a fridge, stove oven and microwave, and spectacular views. The only thing that really annoyed me was the fact that I was not informed of a wifi charge for each device in the room. Any hotel that I've ever stayed at that had charged for wifi applied to everything. I don't mind paying the charge, but I should have been told that it didn't apply to our 2 devices. In these times where pretty much everyone has a laptop and a smart phone, this seems to be gouging. There was also a charge for "incidentals" which wasn't explained to me before check in. I think this hotel needs to offer either free wifi like other comparable hotels in the area, or inform their guests that there is a charge for EACH device that wants to use wifi. They should also tell guests about the extra incidentals charge and explain what the incidentals are.

Good location if you are going to football games. Good restaurant/pub in the base of the hotel. They should consider replacing the beds, as our bed WAS NOT very comfortable. Our room was a suite however. Sitting room/bedroom separate which gets top marks.

Second time at this hotel. Overall satisfied but a bit disappointed as the room we got was older condition than pictures we see on their website. Very good location right downtown walking distance to lots of cool places. The rate was descent and we were glad that they could accommodate our dog that comes with us everywhere. I would return and do not hesitate to recommend that hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, it was very competively priced, a great location, very clean the maid offered to clean our room every day, had a kitchen where we cooked breakfast. We would definetely stay here again.

Great location

Horrible service, dishonest staff, dark and dreary rooms. I know it's an inexpensive hotel compared to other three stars, but it's not worth the savings. I will never stay here again.

Well maintained older hotel ideally located on E Robson in the Yaletown area. Rooms are very comfortable. Both Robson St and Yaletown have lots to offer - restuarants, cocktail lounges, brewpubs, etc - for overnight or extended stays in Vancouver. Book through hotels.com and save.

We always enjoy staying at Rosedale on Robson, it was always our first choice when ever we had a chance to come down to Vancouver.

Perfect location to see the concerts in Vancouver. Within walking distance, a few blocks to Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Public Library, Roger's Arena, and B.C. Place, shopping, and numerous good restaurants. Will stay there again definately! We were even upgraded to a beautiful two bedroom suite at no extra charge. Ample parking downstairs, at a reasonable overnight rate too.

Excellent value for room. Desk service was very good. Location was central. Only complaint would be the elevators; slowest I have ever experienced in a hotel. Overall rating; very good.

More than met our expectations! Very comfortable suite, gracious staff, good food in adjoining restaurant. The only thing we wish they had for our short visit was transporation via shuttle to/from cruise ship/airport/railway station.

The room was nice and clean, the beds extremely Comfy and beautiful view. I do wish there were windows in the living space because its dark if the room doors are closed. Very nice :)

I stayed here for one night in September, 2011, and was happy with my stay. The Hotel appears well kept, the room was clean and comfortable and the price was reasonable. The staff at this Hotel are excellent. The check-in was fast and friendly and everyone was helpful and had a genuine smile on their face. I would stay here again.

Loved it. Staff very helpful. Suite large with dishes, micro, oven etc. Quiet at night. Great patio. Intend to stay here again.

Front desk staff were not very friendly and housekeeping not efficient. Had to call serveral times to get extra towels. There were 4 of us staying in a suite however only 2 sets of towels were placed. Every day. A bit frustating having to call front desk every night to ask for more... Also, it is very unusual having to pay extra for wireless internet access!

Used a base for exploring Vancouver and returning to Vancouver from Vancouver Island and travels around the BC Parks. It makes a good base for anyone who wants to self cater and not eat out all the time as each suite has basic kitchen facilities inc oven, two ring hob, kettle toaster, fridge and basic crockery, cutlery, pans etc. Well situated for getting around and close to stations and buses. Wifi has to be paid for extra which is a bit poor. We stayed on 3 separate occasions. We are a family of 4 and on two occasions our two boys were on a pull-out sofabed; on the other they had a separate bedroom; so that seemed a bit of a lottery. But on the whole good to very good.

First of all the hotel upgraded me to a king size suite instead of queen, so that was a peasant surprise. It was very comfortable and close to where I needed to be.

Very central and convenient - staff were helpful. Our grandchildren were disappointed that the swimming pool was closed between 1:00 and 3:00 PM; other than that - excellent!

I was a single adult. So my room -- with 2 double beds, a sofa bed, and a kitchenette -- was too much for me. Plus, I found the design of the bathroom -- awkward taps, lack of counter space, not enough towel racks or drying racks -- inconvenient. And the swimming pool was too small for someone trying to swim lengths while children were playing in the pool. And it was awkward having to go through the exercise room to get from the change room/washroom to the pool, and vice versa. So the hotel was not ideal for a single adult with no children. But the staff members were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was in an excellent location -- close to downtown and the waterfront.

The Rosedale on Robson is affordable and is in an excellent location for Downtown Vancouver - Queen Elizabeth Theatre; BC Place; Library; Art Gallery; and Gas Town etc. These are all a short stroll from the Hotel. For sights such as the Vancouver Aquarium and Science world there is the bus or your car. Both are walkable; but, with children it would be counter productive. Great spot; comfortable and clean; friendly staff. Our new number 1 choice for downtown Vancouver.

I wanted a drink when I checked in but didn't have an ice bag to go in the ice bucket?? In the morning I discovered a used coffee filter in the coffee maker so I assumed it wasn't cleaned from previous guest!! Left me with a bad impression of overall cleanliness..

we had a pleasant stay and have been at your hotel many times. however, the restaurant needs LOTS of attention - service was very poor - waited 1/2 for coffee 1/2 hour for food which was cold - dishes, cutlery + glasses were dirty. would never go into restaurant again. others near by also had same experience.

A very pleasant stay at this hotel. Nice to have a kitchenette so you can have some meals in your room.

This hotel is in a great location for the business or leisure traveller, right off the main steet in downtown Vancouver. Very convenient to sights, shops and transportation

Clean and ok, but dated and well worn. Enjoyed the neighborhood on the other side of Robson Street better. There are better places for the money

I chose this hotel while at a trade show at the Vancouver Convention Center, which is about a 15-minute walk through downtown, a nice walk if the weather's good. I checked in late on a Sunday night and the front desk clerk (not particularly welcoming) told me they were booked and gave me a room on the second floor. It was narrow, a little worn down and unappealing (all the furniture was very low-set - this may have been a handicapped room). I moved the next morning to a room on the 14th floor which was much nicer and had a fantastic view. Overall I'd recommend this hotel. It's not quite a nice chain like a Marriott or Hilton, a bit worn down here and there, but the room was clean, the suite setup is a nice change, the fridge was useful, the view was great, service was good, and it save me a few bucks on the week's expenses.

Nice and clean.
