The Westin Convention Center Pittsburgh - بيتسبورغ

The room needed a complete refurbishment. For example the sink had large chunks of marble broken out. They nickel and dime you to death. Local calls $1.50 other calls more. Of course, most people use their cell phones anyway. Wireless service is supplied in 3 tiers. The lowest tier is free and is so slow tha I used my phone instead of my laptop. No fridge or microwave. Anyone say Motel 6?

Great (large) work out area and lap pool. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, and there are a lot of nice restaurants nearby!

The hotel was nice although we were told a mini refrig. Would be brought to our room to keep left overs. The refrig. Never materialized. They also should give you more than two servings of coffee, cream, and sugar for the morning. Disappointed.

food was very expensive in hotel and around it. Could not get breakfast for 2 for less than $30. They should provide more reasonable food for guests paying a lot of money to stay there!

This was the BEST workout facility I've ever seen in a hotel. The pool was minimalist, but swimmable (18 meters, only 3 ft deep but better than no water). The workout equipment was closer to a workout facility than a hotel gym - free weights, treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, weight machines, sauna, steam room. The remainder of the hotel was standard and good. Although, to me, nothing is better than a REAL cup of complementary coffee in the morning from the lobby - THAT was missing...only small coffee maker in the room and $2 cups of coffee next door. But given the state of the art workout facility - I'd stay again - simply for THAT.

Fantastic hotel, right in the heart of downtown. Close to many of the sights, including PNC Park, which is amazing. Short 10-15 minute walk to the ballpark, a little further to Heinz Field. Point Park is also close, as is The Strip and Primanti Brothers. You want to know how good this hotel really is? Well when I was there, the Atlanta Braves were also staying there. I met Dan Ugla in the lobby. If it's good enough for a pro-ball club, then it's good enough for anyone.

Nice place to stay. Nice location. Clean. Friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

big sporting event weekend. You would think if the whirlpool went down, there would be a sense of urgency to get it fixed.

Was within walking distance to everywhere we needed to go...very pleased

We had a room with no functioning toilet or heating system. Gave the front desk 5 hours to fix and when we returned to the room nothing had been fixed and the room was not made up. Took them 20 minutes to switch us to another room. Very unhappy with the service for a Westin. Will never stay there again. Many other choices in Pittsburgh.

Our stay at the Westin was an outstanding experience. The staff at the registration desk were friendly and had us in our room in no time. Our room was spacious and the bed was extra comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean and beautifully decorated. We were in Pittsburgh for a convention and loved that the hotel had a connecting walkway to the convention center. The only disappointing thing about our stay was that they hot tub was broken.

Impressive! Room service was great and the hotel is beautiful!

Jason, a very tall young lad who checked me in was a great asset to the hotel. He made the whole process of checking in a pleasure.

had a great time and the staff was awsome .....

it was fine except for the lack of hot water. my husband took a shower in the evening & I took one in the morning, and we both had literally less than 2 minutes of hot water. For that reason alone we will not be staying there again.

Thought it was excellent. Close to all the places we wanted to go or just a short cab ride. We went to North Shore to McFadden's, Rivers, Primannti Bros @ 4AM, then got a late checkout for 1PM. Great time, great staff!!

We had a wonderful experience at the westin in Pittsburgh. The front desk was extremely helpful and fruendly. The room was a very nice size and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was kept cleaned. We were there over New Year's Eve so they were quite busy but I didn't feel at all lost in the shuffle. Hotel was less that 1/2 mile from the restaurant we went for dinner in the cultural district, so even though it was snowing a little, we walked--it was a very easy walk. Great location - close to many restaurants and bars. We will definitely go back!

This was a great location for the First Night celebration in Pittsburgh.If they had a buffet breakfast it would be perfect ! We wish we knew our dog could have been there too.

Nice lobby, clean and comfortable room and bed, but upon walking into my room for the first time I could smell lingering cigarrette smoke in a non-smoking room. Whatever they did to mask it did not work very well. Once the A/C was cranked up the smell became less noticeable.

Hotel was excellent. Good service, friendly staff and nice rooms. This was my second stay and I will come back.

BATHROOM COULD BE CLEANER FOR SURE. WESTIN HAS PLASTIC CUPS FOR DRINKS IN ROOM. WE EXPECT GLASS WARE FOR USE IN ROOM AT A 4 STARS. WOULD RATE WESTIN 3.5 STARS.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was the incredibly slow service provided in the Penn City Grille. This was particularly frustrating as we have young children.

The hotel location was very convenient to the Convention Center. All the staff were knowledgeable and polite. There was a convenient brown bag deli in the facility.

Great location and hotel

The hotel is beautiful. The bell staff was REALLY Awesome, very friendly, helpful,etc... The mattress in the room was incredible. Best night's sleep I can remember.

Very satisfied with hotel, parking, and location near points of interest - Heinz Field, Strip District, restaurants, and Station Square.

the convenience of having a shuttle service was terrific. The concierge people were extremely helpful.

The stay was good. The food in the restaurant was good. Parking was higher than expected.

The bed was the most comfortable I've experienced in a hotel. The hotel restaurant dinner was fantastic. Room service breakfast was also great. Our only disappointment was not much in the way of nightlife going on. The restaurant did have a nice bar with a couple big screen TVs, but would have liked a hotel bar/lounge with entertainment/music better.

This is the place to stay.

Booked a king size bed two months in advance. Checked in and no kings were available?? Other than that was really never there. People were nice. Used the valet and took taxis to go places. Would uses again.

Room was a standard sized room.. very clean and nice decor. Nothing extravagant but just as expected from a Westin property. They do have this weird system where you have to insert your room card into a slot to turn on the room lights. This is the convention center hotel, but even if you're not attending an event at the convention center this hotel is in a very good location. Many restaurants, bars, shopping, museums, theaters are all within walking distance. There's also a subway stop just a few blocks away. It's a free trip to across the river to the stadiums and the casino. I didn't try the Fish Market restaurant in the hotel, but it looked nice. The 28X Airport Bus drops you off 2 blocks from this hotel and it's only $3.75.

Everything was great with the exception of the water not draining when I took a shower.
