Welcoming front desk. Room and hotel was good not great. Wonderful location across from shopping center and restaurants.

The overall stay was fantastic, except the pond right next to the hotel. When I booked the hotel and saw the pictures, I was looking forward to spend sometimes in the afternoon at the park. But the odor from the pond was awful... we could smell it from the swimming pool. It's bad. But, inside of the hotel was great!

Nice rooms, comfortable bed, north facing rooms have less road noise

Good value.

Hotel was very nice. We stayed two days but after the first night housekeeping didn't leave any towels but took our old ones, no coffee, no new cups/glasses and they threw out the remainder of our shampoo/ conditioner. After we called up front they brought us more towels and coffee.

We had a great time. The only thing I could say was that we stayed at the hotel but didn't partake in anything else at the hotel. Still, it is well situated, right off the freeway, great indoors and great outdoors. The price made it even better. Thanks and keep it up!

Close to wild animal park and a very nice hotel

This was our first time staying at this hotel and it was a very nice experience. The only tough thing was parking as you had to walk a little way to get into the hotel.

Nice rooms, everything was clean and good for the price. phenomenal hotel service; our concierge, Rusty, was incredibly nice and helpful. There was a church on the same street; overall quite relaxing and quiet :)

Stay was good, front desk was helpfull with direction.

Nice room, close to the fwy but road noise was barley noticeable. Comfortable bed, HD tv & movie channels were a nice addition

The Courtyard in Rancho Bernardo California was a great choice for our needs. Could not have been any better.

The hotel was nice and parking for free. Not to far from San Diego down town. Loved it. Good price through hotels.com

I have nothing bad to say about the hotel or the staff i wish every hotel was like this hotel. the plan was to stay for 1 night and we ended up staying 2 night cause the stay was amazing even though it was far from our destination. love it thank you to the staff

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel close to all points of interst, very nice neighborhood, clean we would definatedly stay there again.

As any I've come to expect from a Marriot, quite and clean, friendly staff, comfy beds, etc. The only thing I missed out on is the chocolate chip cookies, they ran short when we came back in from dinner and we missed out.

The hotel met all expectations. It was clean, quiet, and safe. The beds were acceptably comfortable and provided for a fair night's rest. My only complaints are that the room was a bit small and the ice machine was not easy to get to from the first floor. Good hotel, nice value.

The staff was very polite and willing to help. The hotel was very clean and well maintained throughout.

We arrived late...9:45pm and room service was already over, so a little disappointed with that after having driven 475 miles, but the hotel overall was wonderful, including the staff at the front desk and the staff at the buffet breakfast the following morning. It was a quick one overnight stay as we were visiting a local college for our daughter!

Our experience with Marriott Hotel was the low point of our time in Rancho Bernardo. I asked for a room with a view for our wedding anniversary and was given the last one at the end of a long hallway, looking towards the highway. Far from the elevator and with a baby in our hands, it made it extra difficult to get to our room! Next day housekeeping didn't vacuum the floor. The Front office supervisor Teresa (the ONLY helpfull person) called later and send houskeeping to re-vacuum the carpet, unfortunately pieces of food were left behind and I had to pick them myself. Housekeepers at this hotel are somewhat rude and speak very limited English, if any..I asked one (older woman with grey, curly hair) for shampoo and towel. She refused to give me any and chased me down to my room to check if I had any bath items already. I didn't let her in, because baby was napping. What a shame! Also, at breakfast , the server (male) made some inapropriate remarks..Our baby didn't eat much of his plate and my husband appologized for wasting some of the food ...The server's respond: WELCOME TO AMERICA! We felt as though we had been spoken to as if we were children looking for a handout! Very unprofessional! The lack of customer care and disrespect at this hotel will keep guests away. We would never be back!

Great accommodations - even with the rainy, windy weather! Helpful front desk staff. Excellent map provided with nearby eateries, banks, stores and gym - all within 10 minutes from hotel. Downtown San Diego only 30 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent choice for families. Very convenient to freeway and local sites.

Not the first time I've stayed here; that alone says a lot. But with hotels.com I got the best rate I've ever gotten here! Hotel has lounge and restaurant on site, fitness room, pool, and is walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable.

My husband and I needed a "day" to ourselves. We didn't need the room for the night, just for a day without work and kids. The staff were very accomodating and understanding to our needs, they allowed us to check in early and check out just in time to get home for dinner with our family. The room was perfect overlooking the garden setting with pond. Thank you to Rusty and Theresa for their exceptional service and ensuring we had a place to enjoy our daycation!!!

My wife and I have stayed at this Marriott Hotel by the duck pond for years, though not recently. It is convenient to her mom's condo and priced right. This time, beds were old and soft, no fan in the bathroom, bathroom door handle fell off in her hand when closing and did I mention there was no form to the matresses? Don't think that we'll be staying here in the future, unless some major renovations take place. Front desk staff was superb in understanding our problem, though powerless to help.

The heating/air unit is at the window next to the head of a bed in a 2 bed configuration. The result is that hot (or cool if a/c is on) air blows over the head of whoever is there. Also, the fan does not turn off when the set temperature is reached, making it constantly noisy for the person occupying the adjacent bed.

Rooms are small !!

Rooms small, but well maintained. Rooms facing Webb Lake are especially pleasant. It is a small community lake with ducks, turtles, and lots of trees and grass. Walls are thin and we had noisy group next door one night of the three. We enjoyed being able to walk to Coco's, Denny's, and the shopping center. You can use your own DVD player with the flat-screen TV.

Good Hotel in the Rancho Bernardo area. Close to the freeway. The views overlooking the pond are romantic. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Bed was comfy and room was clean.

This hotel is not worth the money. Overpriced and outdated. The hotel needs to be remodeled. I would not stay there again for the same price.
