The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel - فورت وورث

a bit pricey but you have to pay up for the location. no WIFI in the rooms is pretty insane since its the year 2011, but they do offer it in the lobby.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at. But they need more entertainment in the bar.

I gave the hotel an overall review of 3 out of 5 mainly due to some problems we had with the room itself. I was on the 12th floor and the A/C did not work properly for the first day and a half. The lavatory sink was clogged-up before we had a chance to use it and the toilet bowl pressure was so low that it easily clogged up.

if you don't get a King bed you wont be happy I asked for a king bed when i booked the room but at check in they said all out of Kings so they put us in a bigger room as an upgrade I was thanking ok 2 Queen beds, the beds where doubles and way 2 small they said all rooms are king or doubles no queens I loved the room It was the best but the bed was the problem

Did not get the bed size we requested, and the hotel staff did not apologize, they simply handed us a $30 coupon for breakfast and said that was all they could do for us. It would of been a nice gesture if it had came with an apology and had they explained that it was only for the restaurant downstairs, not for room service. The room was clean but the bed frame was so squeaky it made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was good but the service was poor, we waited 20 minutes to be seated and when they finally sat us we were surrounded by empty tables. I previously stayed at the Embassy Suites in downtown Ft Worth and it was not only less expensive, it was in a better location and the hotel service, room size, food and amenities were much better. I would not recommend The Worthington Renaissance.

Loved every minute of it.

I love this hotel! This was my third tistay at the Worthington and I have yet to be disappointed. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and I've always had a great room with a beautiful view. Plus you're within walking distance to practically everything in downtown Fort Worth. Definitely highly recommended.

Everything was better than expected.

Conviently located near Sundance Square, within walking distance to all the downtown Fort Worth scene. We parked the car on the street for the weekend (free street parking after 6 pm and on Sat & Sun). We walked everywhere. Lots of things to do downtown. Within walking distance to Convention Center. About a 30 minute walk to the T&P rail station for the TRE railway. About an hour walk to Rahr & Sons brewing. Great views of either Sundance Square or the Tarrant County Courthouse, depending on which side you're on. The room had the Marriott beds, so great comfort. Aveda amenities. Coffee/Tea in room. Hair Dryer in room. They have room service. Starbucks in the morning. Hotel bar at night. Restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The hotel bar was really hopping both Fri & Sat night. We used the pool, hot tub, exercise equipment, and sauna. All were great. The service was excellent. Hotel was nice and clean. No problems with reservation. Only thing to complain about is that you can hear the folks who are walking in the hallways. We didn't hear the folks on either side of our room, and people were staying there, but we did hear people in the hallway.

Very nice hotel in a great location. However, the customer service was atrocious. They were under-staffed, and all of our requests were either never met or required several inquiries.

We booked a King suite and the hotel gave our room away because someone else checked in before we did. We checked in at 5PM. They would not refund our money or Comp the stay. Snobby attitude to boot. Terrible experience.

Great hotel in the heart of Sundance Square. You can walk everywhere in the square - dining, nightlife, etc. Great place. Only negative is that the hotel charged mini bar charges to our credit card and we did not even touch the mini-bar. Upon calling days later when we discovered the charge the hotel corrected it but it was a nuisance and inconvenience that we should not have had to deal with -

Just wanted to get away for the weekend and enjoy Downtown Ft Worth. We walked to all the nearby great restaurants (Reatta) and bars. Never had to step foot in a vehicle until checkout.

The room was clean, but it was at the end of a 132 yard hall (I stepped it off) from the ONE set of elevators that served the whole hotel. How much would it have cost to put at least one elevator at the other end of that hall? Very poor design. The beds were nice, but the heating unit fan was way too loud and never cut off. The vents were up in the ceiling where you couldn't adjust them and the air blew right on you all night. My sinuses were terrible the next morning. The parking garage was a disaster. You had to go 132 yards (actually almost 2 city blocks) to the ONE set of elevators, and then walk BACK two blocks to the garage. And getting out meant waiting in line for 5-8 minutes because it took so long to pay. For what they charge, they ought to provide a much better hotel experience. I cannot recommend it.

Except for the fact that it is in the heart of Sundance Square, this hotel is EXTREMELY overpriced for what you get. For a 3-4 start hotel, we expected much better. We requested a 'king size bed' room, but were given a room with two 'double beds'. Upon discovering this, we had to go back to the front desk, with all of our luggage, to correct. (2) We were quoted $16/day for valet parking since the self-park was, for some reason, not available, only to be charged $22/day. We had to go to the front desk, upon checkout, to correct.

If you are going to have three weddings, two conventions and one other event in your hotel all on the same night, please plan on having enough staff. We had to wait for our room for an hour. Because it had to be inspected. We told them we were going right out with our car but they still parked our car and had to wait for them to unpark our car as guests were arriving for a wedding. We waited thirty minutes for our car. Hotel was kind enough to comp our parking. But if we had been in a rush- that wouldn't have mattered.

Location was great! Weekend getaway with longtime best friend! Close to all the nice restaurants and fun!

We found black hairs on the sheet, that was somewhat upsetting-maid was on the floor and she changed the sheets. Breakfast buffet was not offered and we had been told by others how good it was. Our waitress was rude and when asked for more coffee, never recieved and never recieved the butter and jelly we had asked for. Disappointing

The Worthington is centrally located to many fine restaurants, clubs and boutique shops. Perfect for one night stay. Easy access to freeway system, makes it a great location for business travelers.

Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was nice, beds were very comfortable. Price was high for such a small room, but it had a terrific view.

We stayed here for the Cowtown Marathon. We were competing. We ordered room service to be delivered between 6am and 6:15m, at 6:20am I called down because it has not arrived and it was clear they had not started on it. When it arrived at 6:35 it was too late to eat it. We also requested late check out so that we could shower and relax after running the race before having to load up the car and leave. They said they were not allowing any late check out on this one day and were completely inflexible about it. The much cheaper marroitt a few blocks away was granting universal late checkout and was able to get room serice delivered on time. Very disappointed by the service and the late of customer appreciation. I would not recommend this hotel because you can pay half as much per night and receive better customer service and a more understanding staff.

When we checked in, we asked if we could push up the checkout time of noon to 1:00 pm as we had 1:30 reservations for the Thanksgiving buffet there in the hotel. The young man suggested they make it 3:00 so that we could get our things AFTER the meal, rather than moving them before we ate.

Our stay was nice. We were able to enjoy the surrounding restaurants and clubs and still have a safe, nearby place to stay. The staff was courteous and we would stay there again.

We were looking at staying at some other hotels in Downtown Fort Worth that might have been a little bit cheaper, but when it came right down to it the Worthington was worth every penny. The room was amazing overlooking Sundance Square and it was large and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to dinner, drinks, entertainment and even a little dessert - all within a block or two of the hotel. We know that when we stay in Fort Worth you can never go wrong with The Worthington and hotels.com was able to get us a great deal on top of that.

Perfect for business or romance.

Nice hotel, but thin walls and street noise is loud. If you're wanting a quiet location, this is not the place. If you want a place in the center of the action, this is the place.

I have never been at a hotel where dust was visual before. Only one person working the front desk, no parking cause a wedding party was there.
