The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel - فورت وورث

Overall the hotel was nice. Breakfast at the Vidalia restaurant was most appealing to my daughters as they provided made to order pancakes! Hotel staff was very courteous and helped us navigate thru downtown Fort Worth. Proximity to the convention center was perfect! I think the hotel could use an update in decor. Guest bathrooms could be updated as well. My husband was impressed with the fitness room. Valet was a bit pricey. Overall good experience.

I was very dissatisfied with my stay at The Worthington. Check-in took several minutes as only one desk clerk was working. Once they saw the line of 4-5 people, they brought in two additional clerks. I paid an additional amount to have breakfast included and was not told any details regarding how the breakfast would work (i.e. continental breakfast or room service). I had to ask about the breakfast. We ordered room service right when we got in and it took longer than expected to arrive, the food was lukewarm, and they forgot an item and had to go back to get it. The hotel charges for both self parking and valet parking which I thought was ridiculous given the nightly rate. They also charged for Wifi which I can get free at Starbucks. The lobby and rooms are nice but the building is so old that the walls are really thin. We could hear complete conversations both in the hall and in the room next to us. We could also hear all of the cars and dumpsters on the street below. I would not recommend this hotel for the price that is being charged.

To sum it up, the hotel was very nice, but the personnel Were very standoffish, acted if we were beneath their status! They downgraded me because they told me that other people. Get. Those rooms. RUDE! I'm not sure if it was because I was in uniform or what, but we paid for a breakfast meal with both days and we were never told where these were. From ANYONE! It took me going into the bar and my wife talking with a server to find out what is going on. It took my wife going and complaining that the bed was too small to allow us to sleep to get them to fix the room issue.

We wanted a romantic get-a-way for the weekend and this was a perfect hotel. It was close to restaurants and the neighborhood was good. Breakfast buffet the next morning was great. Will stay again!

We stay here often and are always satisfied. The last stay was on the weekend and they put us on the concierge floor (8th). There are no concierge services on the weekend, but you still have the inconvenience of having to use a room keys to access the elevator and there are no ice machines on this floor. If you check in on a weekend, don't accept a 8th floor room. I hope it didn't have anything to do with the fact that our room an award room from Hotels.com

I believe if I had out of town guests staying at the hotel I would make sure they had a view of Sundance Sq, instead of air conditioning units.......not a pretty sight nor did it make you want to get out and browse the other shops.

Once again, The Worthington is a first-class place in every respect. We so enjoyed our stay, and our only regret upon checking out was that we could not stay longer.

This place was very nice. And its right in the middle of the downtown area. We went to billy bobs and a bus picked us up right outside the hotel and took us there. The room was spacious and so were the bathrooms. Everyone was extremely pleasant who worked there. If I ever stay in FW again, this is where I will be going. Nice bar and restaurant in the hotel, plus lots of places right on the sun dance square.

the room was very over priced, small and to charge paying customers to park is unheard of. The breakfast was the only plus to this hotel. i will not use this hotel again.

The hotel was clean and roomy. The staff was friendly and eager to help. We will definitely stay again.

We actually had to wait for our room after the check in time because football players were in town for a big game and hadn't checked out yet. (They lost so I won't hold them responsible for that). Anyway, our room was clean and it's a very short walking distance to some really good restaurants...overall it was a nice and comfortable stay.

This is a beautiful hotel. Location is great and has surprised us because of how walkable and enjoyable downtown Fort Worth is. Our room had a wonderful view of the city and was spacious. I couldn't give it a 5 for cleanliness because of a crumpled up tissue behind the arm chair which indicates to me that the room is only superficially cleaned between the guests. On comfort I gave it 4 due to double beds being very small (I seriously wondered if they were single beds) and firm. We usually enjoy firm bed but these (maybe because they were small) were uncomfortable. Service we received from everyone was superb.

I've stayed at the Worthington a half-dozen times over the years and I gotta say the quality is really going downhill. Room service food was terrible. Breakfast buffet was so-so. Hallway noise from drunken guests was pretty severe both nights, nothing done about it. And with the decline in quality, it's too expensive for what you get. I like the Omni in downtown Fort Worth. It's not right on Sundance Square like the Worthington, but I'm heading to the Omni next time business or pleasure takes me to FW.

Location is great, but too pricey to do very often

The Worthington is in a great spot in Fort Worth, walk to shops, restaurants, bars...Hotel is nice and quiet. The only bummer was I brought my laptop and they do not have wireless in the hotel...strange? But I would recommend staying at this hotel.

the only probelms we had was with the trouble they had pulling up reservations with hotels.com

OK, so overall the stay was just one night, and it was upscale. HOWEVER, The only reason my wife and I went was to get away, soak in the whirlpool and swim. That was the plan. SO? Was told by the front desk, "it was closed by maintenence and they are not telling us when it was going to be back up." So, needless to say if we would have known before traveling to Fort Worth we surely would have gone elsewhere. As I told the front desk, for the money that the room cost and the trouble we went through to relax, it was stiffled. So, we got comps for breakfast. Overall, it was a very nice room and stay. No other problems. It was extremley frustrating to experience a downer for the whole reason we went.

Have requested a king-size bed the last two visits and have not gotten a king-size bed either time. This past visit, we were put in a handicap room and the shower head was very inconvenient.

The hotel is nice and in a really good location. Definitely a good value. Only annoying thing is that the hotel charges for parking ($22/night for valet or $16/per night for self park), which is a pain because cab rides from DFW are expensive.

I have stayed at many hotels in Ft. Worth on many occasions. This hotel is the worst value. Stay at the Sheraton, just as nice, near the water garden. The Embassy Suites is just as nice but priced better. We weren't allowed into our room until 4:30pm. No apologies. Overpriced by at least 100 dollars.

Love this hotel and it's location!! Stayed there in Jan. 2011 and again in Aug 2011. Able to walk to restaurants, movies, bars and shops.

Overall we had a good experience at this hotel. It was a last minute trip and we found the room size, location, etc. to be great. Front desk and concierge service were great. Housekeeping help was also great for extra towels, pillows, a roll away for our child, etc. Our breakfast trip to Vidalia's was just average (and expensive) and we found the service to be unenthusiastic. The Starbucks cafe is convenient, though their hours are very limited. We'd probably stay there again.

No one met us at the door or offered to with our bags. Even after checking in at the front desk there was no offer of help. The rooms are clean but out of date, to include old shower curtains, the cheapest of the cheap towels and toilet paper that would disappoint you even in a port-a-let. The maid service was delayed until after 330pm and even then no one bothered to replace the bottles of water or chips from the so called mini bar. In short; the location is great and the breakfast is good. Everything else is years behind what you would expect for the name and/or the price.

We loved staying at the WR, Ft. Worth. We had a great view from our 12th floor room. Would have liked to have directions given to us at check in on how to get to our room after using self-parking. Got lost, but met a nice gentleman who had had the same problem. Then we were able to help some other people the next day that were lost finding their room. Parking problems were our only compliant. Great room for the price.

stayed for a weekend with family and was very impressed with service and amenities, i recommend this hotel.

We were recommended to the Worthington, and it was a great recommendation. Loved the hotel rooms and how easy it was to walk to all of the restaurants, etc. downtown. We booked with Hotel.com and were able to get a great rate!!

Wonderful, brief stay at the Worthington. They allow pets so we took our Golden Retriever. The staff were super nice, and the location is perfect for exploring downtown Fort Worth and Sundance Square. Will definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect! Love this hotel!

We stayed here for our anniversary and upon request, they graciously gave us the 10th floor (out of 12) facing Sundance Square! It was gorgeous! We could walk out of the hotel and be right in the heart of downtown. Room service breakfast was a bit pricey but for our occasion was worth it and delicious! The staff was very kind and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

The parking was pricey at $22.00. The Starbuck's coffee was closed on April 24th. We attempted to make a cup of coffee in the room. No coffee with small coffee maker and only one paper cup. Asked three times for coffee and cups to no avail. We decided to get dressed and go, down to cafe in hotel. There we found one waiter for everyone dining. Facilities were nice... Service not so.
